  2. Only one note on an exceptional analisys: annexation of Crimea is more like the Sudeten crisis, Invasion of Ukraine in 2022 is much more similar to the Poland invasion from a diplomatic point of view except the fact that it's not turning out very good for Putler.

  9. Dude! You really should be a speechwriter for the various politicians in Washington who want Russia to go home! You nail just about every talking point they need to convey the correct message! Maybe have bi-partisan Senators and Congressmen each take up the subject on a point-by-point format so that it doesn't drag on into one long speech where important points get swallowed up in the others. I find your analyses to be cogent and unbiased in any way other than the reality of what is going on! Keep up your great work!

  10. I just adore this.... we don't hear much about Belarus so I found this absolutely spine tingling. Russia really is like the ex boyfriend who can't leave it alone. There is a nasty, psychotic, resentfulness about Russia which EXACTLY as you said, is not spoken of sufficiently and called out. As an added bonus, you're one of the few channels which names explicitly the ultimate purpose of Russia's bellicosity which so many are happy to smugly sit back and think they've solved the mystery and slipped behind Putain's mask (and yes, for a decade I have been looking forward to applying that nomenclature - particularly ironic that, during the time of peak Russian Empire - the 18th Century - French was the language of the Court, the son of a whore!). I find it so frustrating that there seems a general contentment to call it "Russian Imperial expansion" - which is the outward manifestation of his grandiose ambition and desire for influence, power and legacy. To which i reply pish tush - well, in a WAY it's about all that bollocks but only as a means to an end and certainly not merely for the sake of themselves. In short, the more of a bully and a nuisance he can be - the more fear he can instil - the richer he can get. It's all, ALL about him. He is absolutely pure 'Ndrangheta: truly THE Capo dei tutti capi di tutti i capi. Absolutely terrifying. Absolutely atrocious. Absolutely must AT ALL COSTS be stopped. A literal gangster striding all over the face of the planet and terrorising not individuals, businesses, neighbourhoods and towns - but whole countries. On a moral level alone, it is time the West got its nose out the trough (that fat peace dividend since 1945 has paid HANDSOMELY) and looked around. I don't condemn capitalism, quite the contrary. Even the forces of good need money. I know the West has fought wars on arguably questionable moral grounds but, well, we just have to put our mistakes behind us and examine our consciences and do what we think is right - which in this case is helping Ukraine. In the medium to long term of course, any present costs in terms of weapons, equipment, humanitarian aid and the more diffuse costs incurred by the general dip in the economy due to the war - will more than be made back by the clearing of the drain blockage which those Kremlin scumbags have been avidly pouring their chip fat and food scraps aggressively building up with an arrogant toss of the mane and an ugly little jealous sneer. Christ, they are such cunts, the number of times I have sat dreaming of the excruciating Roman, Byzantine and Medieval tortures that Putain deserves - don't get me started! Suffice to say I have subscribed.....😏

  24.  @icarusproject  I never claimed that. I just said that you can use them for decades with care. Still, you can hardly deny that these weapons can kill people. The German armed forces still use the MG1, which is an MG42 converted to NATO ammunition. The MG42 was a Wehrmacht machine gun in World War II. This machine gun was introduced into the Wehrmacht in 1942.

  25. Early in the war a large Russian oil depot was destroyed by a helicopter attack. The Ukrainians claimed it wasnt them and this in turn led to the story that a Russian general, having sold all the oil on the black market, deliberately had it blown up to hide the evidence. Nothing I have seen suggests this is too far fetched to be the truth.

  30. An excellent presentation that aligns with information I knew and explained (not as well) to others. Putin has failed on all levels of the power pyramid. He is failing, militarily, politically, socially and most important and longest lasting, economically. The West could not have aligned NATO against RuSSia, politically isolated them, socially distanced them, or made RuSSia irrelevant without Vladimir Putin. He has miscalculated everything of importance and run RuSSia to ruin. He is the worst leader take charge of RuSSia in more than 500 years. Recovery will not come easily and will be impossible with Putin, or anyone remotely like him, at the helm. He is responsible for making RuSSia economically irrelevant now and for generations to come.

  41. 10:46 you hit the nail on the head right here. Ukrainians want to protect their country and their culture, even if it means sacrificing their own lives. Because if Russia wins, they will russify the country just like they are doing with Belarus, wiping out the native language and instilling a an authoritarian dictatorship.

  43. Soviet, then. The extra graphics to help illustrate the points are much appreciated, but getting them right is always a pain while also sometimes not being worth it or even unnecessary. If this is how you have to handle Russian thing and not be Stalin them, have at it. I may not be someone who demands much from a creator - and I will never demand more videos more frequently from anyone - but I will stick around anyway, at least until YT changes the algorithm again and to the point that it considers me to be a bot under some kind of demented "vids or you ain't real" mentality.

  46. Nice production, looks very professional, well done. However, that 800 million out of poverty figure should not be trusted. The CCP massages these figures to appear good on the world stage. Also working 996 for squeezed wages is not out of poverty, I think the average Chinese person earns more likely about $400 a month, (not the inflated official figures), and this is still poverty.. Shanghai may have wages that approach some western wages, but then the CCP is always pointing at Shanghai as its shining city. It is a face saving political deception. Most of the figures come from corrupt officials filling quota demands.The CCP lies to the world about most things.
