Dr. Thomas Seyfried is genuinely a gifted and brilliant talent on cancer and metabolic treatment approaches. He deserves so many more accolades.

As an oncology nurse who gave chemo for 30 yrs, we were taught to tell patient to not eat fresh fruits and vegetables... because of the risk on bad bacteria on veggies and fruit ... it makes me so incredibly sad at the lack/ misguided info we had.

Stage 4 cancer patient here. Betting my life on Dr. Seyfrieds protocol! Read Tripping Over the Truth if you are embarking on a cancer journey.

This is the first time I’ve heard an oncologist listen respectfully to Dr. Seyfried’s theories. His questions were very insightful. I did not know that Dr. Siddhartha Mukherjee is going down the same path for treating pancreatic cancer. The oncologists may actually listen to him since he is part of the tribe!

Seyfried is an utter genius. Thank heavens people like him exist 🙏

Hi, I'm Guy Tenenbaum Cancer Survivor. I did interviews with a lot of people like Eric Berg and others. I would like to spread the word about how to cure cancer. Thomas Seyfried save my life.

I love this video I have been following Dr. Li since being diagnosed in 2020 with metastatic bone, Mets breast cancer… I do everything to have a healthy gut and I do believe that’s why I’ve been on the first line of treatment since my diagnosis… He is an amazing person. I just love all of his videos. They have been so helpful for me on my journey… I wish more doctors knew about health every time I ask someone what to eat or what to do they just said keep doing what you’re doing with no real actual input. Very frustrating as a cancer patient I think sometimes they were just thinking I should be happy to be alive with stage four lol but I plan on living another 20 years! God willing.❤

I have been following a ketogenic diet, after first having done a 30 day, water only fast. My stage 4 prostate cancer is receding and going away. I stopped using my meter to measure blood sugar and blood ketones because I can tell by the smell of my urine that I'm in ketosis. I got talked into a course of chemo. It made me horribly ill. Understandable, given that i was in ketosis. Didn't know, until now, that being in ketosis makes you much more sensitive to chemo.

This really is a mindblowing podcast, man, I just threw everything I learned in the seventies as a medical student overboard and directly ordered Seyfrieds book to start learning the latest science and I do hope I can help people with it. I realise now I just let them fight with the wrong tools. I just say: Seyfried/his team must get the Nobel-prize for medicine for sure. I hope my grandchildren will be able to profit from this great man's mind. Thanks for providing the opportunities with this amazing podcast and I will try to support your struggle........ Greetings from The Netherlands on a (now even more) sunny Friday morning.

I am so excited. I live in Illinois and she actually is at the Cancer Center that I go to. I have stage four metastatic breast cancer with bone mets I’m so excited that she is local. I’m definitely making an appointment with her to try to get on a keto diet! Thank you so much for this interview.❤

Thank you. This channel has been great. My wife is BRCA1, stage IV PDAC in remission for the last 9 months on PARP. She did 17 months of Folfirinox (standard is 12 cycles). I believe the idea of practicing “healthcare” in between visits helped get her strong enough to receive and respond well to chemo. I’ve watched you and read Dr Li’s book “eat to beat disease” and I feel like it’s helped my wife recover. Thank you for this channel.

My wife has glioblastoma brain cancer and her neurosurgeon recommended the Keto diet, without the "press pulse" therapy. As her caregiver, I found it very difficult to keep her in a constant state of ketosis, and without professional help and guidance we gave up. This sounds simpler than it is, as your fighting against years of habits, both your own and your friends, family and society at large, while at the same time fighting an "incurable" cancer. I wish the video would have provided references to resources to help people transition to this type of lifestyle.

This was an excellent episode. I think the KD diet has a ton of promise for helping to treat cancer and I'm glad it's being discussed on this great podcast!

Dr. Keserling is the type of MD I would like to see more often in the current health care system. Thank you for having this interview.

Dr. Mukherjee is a genius and explains his thoughts so clearly. We need more cancer researchers like himself and Dr. Seyfried.
42
Holy sh!t! Two hard hitting bangers in one vid! Sweet! 💪🙏👌

Prior to changing my dietary lifestyle by following a low carb ketogenic diet, I had a colonoscopy and 5 "benign" growths were removed from my colon. 3 years later with a follow up colonoscopy there were none. How about that!
36
great talk, Seyfried, and Fung wonderful
33
Great video. Very good information. I'm so glad to see doctors like this trying ketogenic/carnivore diet to enhance cancer treatment. Thank you!
32
BTW, you should have a million subscribers. That's how vital your information is. And I'm sure you soon will.
31
Excellent video about cancer and carbohydrate consumption. I am forwarding to my friends.

3 modern heroes.
27
I absolutely love the shining excitement in both your faces. You restore my belief that really good people still exist. Thank you for caring about life. 🇦🇺💕
26
It's crucial to approach this topic with caution and consider the individual nature of cancer treatment. The keto diet should never be seen as a standalone therapy, but rather as a potential adjunct to conventional treatments under the guidance of healthcare professionals. I appreciate this video for shedding light on an emerging area of research and providing a balanced perspective.
25
This is a fantastic discussion between two brave clinicians and researcher. Real time translational science to arm patients and providers with actionable solutions for the bedside. Bravo 👏
21
Stumbled on this video. Fantastic content on how to rethink the approach to beating cancer.

Wow thank you so much for this. My mother is going through stage III ovarian right now and it is terrifying. I identify with Cody story so much and I am humbled and grounded by this life shifting event. Watching her lose weight, losing her hair, watching her thow up. It affects the whole entire family. As trauma survivor myself, I advocate for mental health and the importance of healing the mind in such a time like this. Ugh this interview is so confirming and im soo very grateful.

DR. JASON FUNG . !!!! NAILS IT AGAIN . !!!
19
This is utterly fantastic and fascinating As a person with a grade 4 Glioblastoma I find this gives me hope. Thanks for the great interview and for having the interest to try and solve this terrible thing called cancer. None of my oncologists in Sydney show any interest in or understanding in the metabolic links to cancer. Thanks again to both of you
19
Absolutely fascinating explanation of cancer, Dr Fung. Dr Sanjay--I can't wait to watch the next episode!
19
i was just searching for some Cody’s interviews and unexpectedly found this one… i’ve been going through these things (similar to Cody) in the previous year and this video in some way let me feel…better? idk thank you for this work and thank Cody for being so open, sincere and genuine

Whoa! Double treat today. Dr. Fung and Dr. Seyfield. ❤❤❤ Thank you!
15
i absolutely love Dr. Seyfried's explanation of cancer and how to manage it. up untill i came across him, everything i would read about cancer or even asking for information from my doctors, was basically a half explanation of what it is and just a big question mark about what to do about it. and then this man comes along and explains it so well that its so easy to understand
14
Thank you so much for this valuable information! I'm currently in treatment for stage 2 colorectal cancer. Just went through my first chemo
