  5. The great thing about Japan's Shinkansen is that there have been no accidents since its opening in 1964. Even during numerous major earthquakes, it automatically slows down rapidly and has no accidents. China and South Korea also have high-speed trains running, but accidents and troubles have occurred.

What I admire about the Japanese people is how outstanding their cleanliness is ,not a drop of litter and spotless toilets, another thing is how they respect the food sections and drink stations and only take what they need ,I absolutely believe I'd this was here in the UK it would be trashed and misused .I totally could live full time in a capsule hotel like this full time ,I love the idea of having a lovely sleeping room so cosy and clean I have no worries about being scared ,I love small spaces to be in like this ,I am so impressed by the cleanliness,only thing I don't think I'd like is a raw egg with rice haha but over all am obsessed with watching videos like this x

  14. I watch a number of channels from Japan and yours is the first that to me is original. I've seen many others staying at the same hotels, eating at the same restaurants, but yours is unique. I always save the video for my reference when I go to Japan, providing my Son still takes me because heavens knows I can't afford to pay for a trip. Many thanks!

  15. I love films like these because as being from the United States upper Midwest I only know how life is here. I get a chance to see how life is elsewhere in the world. I get to observe, understand and appreciate our similarities and our differences. Appreciation for the variety. I would love these sort of videos from around the world. Remind us that though we are different, we are still very much the same. Thank you for another wonderful video.

  16. I’ve seen a public bathroom pod on a street corner in Los Angeles. It costs 25 cents to enter . Has 1 toilet and sink. Once you exit the pod, the entire interior of the pod is flushed out and sanitized and ready for the next person. I thought that was genius!

Unfortunately we can't have nice things like this in US people are way too selfish here and can't respect communal spaces. Any place this cheap will surely just be dirty and ratty. You'd be better off in a sleeping bag outside🙃

  49. I am a Canadian living in Ontario. I love how Japan has developed so many wonderful and useful things that we use every day! But Japanese culture is very different from North American in that Japanese people are much more polite and respectful of their environment and country than we in NA are, generally. As much as I would love to have trains with these wonderful amenities in them, I know that the pods would not be kept as clean and carefully used as they are in Japan. We have too many people who would vandalize places like the office working pods or sleeping pods on trains or in stations and these facilities would be ruined for those of us who are respectful of property.
