Russia is cooking the books. People that are inside Russia, common people, common workers, say that inflation is more like 20%.
61
russians break every agreement whent they feel they are in a position of power... Thank Mark!
61
How is this not a more popular channel?
61
Hi Mark, we allways love to hear your views about the geo economic playfield. I"m a dutch pensioner living partttime in Romania. I just cannot imagine why Mr. T. tries to upset a contingent of 420 million people, living in pretty good circomstances, against the US. A simple example: I need new tyres for my very modest Dacia Duster. My choice is either Goodyear or Michelin. Guess what my choice will be....
61
First logical look at how a Trump victory helps Ukraine I have seen. Good to feel some hope there. I'm still hoping for a Harris win, though.
61
I'll bet that you won't be invited to the Kremlin Christmas party this year, lol.
61
I genuinely wish I was your neighbor. By the potato patch. You are living the dream.

From Netherlands🇳🇱: 👍 Thanks for this video

Ordinary Ivan could change russian mad Circus, but fear, fear, fear...Thank you, Mark
60
Hopefully, we’ll have better luck with speaker Johnson passing the Ukraine assistant package. 🇺🇦
60
Well presented. 👍
60
It can be he suffers from fetal alcohol syndrome too.
60
Thanks, Mark, for making economics comprehensible!
60
No Innovations, no consume, international trade only at low discount prices, but - a demographical decline, a collapsing currency and, in the long term, depts, failing infrastructure on land, water and in the sky ... . Russia.
60
"news is information and it's the lowest form of knowledge" it makes me think, thanks.
59
A European here. I have to agree with your metaphor about native Americans and viruses that arrived from Europe is quite on point and easy to understand.
59
I really hope you'r right !
59
Nice work Mark
59
Russian will never forgive you for being happier, richer, freer than them! Which is funny because they chose to be unhappy and miserable!
59
It is being done. We are shifting off of a resource-based economy to a knowledge-based economy. This is especially true with fossil fuels, but it is also true with other resources. When this war is over, Russia will go back to trying to sale their resources, but the markets won't be there. They are basically doing themselves in. In humorous terms: Our karma ran over your dogma.
59
Negotiate with Putin? LOL
58
When the interest rate is 16%, debt will quickly become very expensive.
58
I hadn’t considered lead poisoning or other neurological disabilities… I just assumed it was psychopathy… it’s an interesting hypothesis!
58
Good video Mark, the Russian economy is being kept alive by greatly only expanded military expenditure off-setting rapid declines in the civilian economy. Of course spending money on the military does little to improve the living standards of the population.
58
Negotiate with the devil and hope for a good outcome. Come on...
58
Another Narcissist with Nukes...lovely.
58
I want to play settlers of catan and drink mead with this dude. Ukraine is saving the world.
58
It’s very satisfying to hear that you enjoy living your life. It’s great! I’m a Belarussian immigrant living in Boston, and I love my life too, thanks to America 🇺🇸
58
Excellent, I watched this twice to make sure I didn't miss anything. You're a good person, Mark.
58
What ever deal that may or may not materialize, Zelinski will ultimately have the opportunity to either accept or reject it. Let’s wait and see what the offer is. If it’s not acceptable then walk away and continue to fight. I pray that Ukraine will win weather in negotiations or on the battlefield. Slava Ukraine 🇺🇦
58
Yes, it will end in Moscow but first the west has to be sure Ukraine has all the help it needs to hold the line. Maybe taking Crimea might move things along a bit quicker.
58
You are as the Brits say ” spot on” 🇺🇦🇺🇦🇺🇦🇺🇦🇺🇦🇺🇦🇺🇦🇺🇦
58
I think you give Trump too much credit to be thinking like that 😂
58
Lots of love from Ukraine! 🫡💙

Having chickens in your backyard now is a sign of wealth.
57
The Ruble will fall like leaves from the trees. No stopping it once fall starts. Glad you know your mushrooms, mushroom pickers consist of two types those who know and those who are dead.
57
My wife is Estonian. I know many Estonians with partly Russian family background. They all try to deny it. They even refuse their children to lern Russian. During Sowjet times Russians - though having bad manners and bad education - were ruling over Estonian people. After the collapse things have turned into the opposite. Estonia became independent again. Estonian people are like Germans once used to be. That’s why they have developed that good and that far. Russians in Estonia are often drug addicted and drunkards. Those who don’t want to adapt or are unable to do have to do the simple works. It’s somehow comparable to the Turkish in Germany. 🇩🇪🇪🇪🇺🇦👍

Another interesting set of thoughts to start the day - and another stunning background. Putin, like every dictator, is fighting only for his own survival because he knows the fate of an unsuccessful dictator is to end dangling by his heels from a lamp post.
57
Thanks, Mark. Russia definitely needs new management. 🇺🇦
56
Peace on russian terms is always a genocide and then extinction. Your videos are as always on point, and the analogy is great. Thank you Mark!
56
In breach of the Budapest Memorandum. No wriggle room. 😡
56
It must be excruciatingly embarrassing for the American people.
56
I remember being a tourist in the USSR in 83, I bought several glass packs of Soviet black beluga caviar at 5 USD each from a waiter at the Kosmos hotel restaurant, took me to the hotel food storage, he said, sorry we only accept USD, UK Pounds, Deutsemarks and French Franc, and sorry no Yen rubles and Italian Lira he said jokingly. Yah gave him some Philippine and Mexican pesos as gifts haha that made him happy.
56
As a Ukrainian I was greatly encouraged by what you said, thank you.
56
"Money, the second half of all transactions." - a great and compact phrase.
56
I wish Ukraine all the best. They are fighting Russia and skeptics from around the world, including those in the US and EU.
56
Så As a Danish, this is so close, we cannot afford to be “neutral”.. there is no neutral
56
Toilet paper 😂😂😂. That's funny
56
You're doing so well, 30k already. Congratulations
56
