Having been born and raised in Valencia, Carabobo myself I thank you for this truly awesome video and for explaining "La batalla de Carabobo" in in the english language. Well excecuted and quality video, I love history now and having you make this video with similar level of details and quality to thr likes of HistoryMarche and Kings and Generals but about the new world truly made my day.
13
This channel truly deserves better, nice job!

The tsar, the kaiser and the king were all cousins, its not that odd the germans and british tried to de escalate and condem coz they really didnt want a family war. The kings sister was also married to the tsar and i think the king to a german/ british aristocrat if memory serves? Google it, been 10 years since i studied ww1 but they defo has a family gaff in denmark for decendants of victoria that they went to every year. But yeh they were all from the saxe coberg gotha dynasty so ww1 was a bit of a shock to the royals, nicolas also had a complex coz willhelm and george had better toys, so that triangle is very interesting, its why we have the windsor dynasty, because the royal family didnt think they would survive if they didnt change their name to be nore british sounding...history and ww1 especialy is maddddd...beilliant vid tho 23.05 on the watch at the mo. Loving it going to watch the rest, great job!

Great video. You should do a whole series abouyt this. A LOT happened during that period and this is an oversimplification. I hope you eventually cover it. You have a huge amount of political intrigues and amazing battles

Don't often see such well made videos about the Hispanic Wars of independence. All for it.
7
Thank you for this video. While I had a vague idea of the general issues, this really provided a lot of context and background that I didn't have.
7
Interesting and informative as always! Thank you.
7
Great video, only found your channel 2 days ago and binged almost all of them already. Hope you keep it up
7
Great Video!!! Really shows how Nicholas really screwed the pooch on some aspects. You know what is a topic that would be interesting? Why did Austria Hungary do so poorly against Russia, despite being more industrialized and Russia having such a backwards and undersupplied army?
7
Good stuff! Macropolitical developments is a niche that you can occupy well--enough battles and campaigns, but not enough of this.
7

Fantastic video! Ive been reading about this war for a while but this really nailed the explanation, with all the big characters and the map to comprehend the territorial status. Congratulations! I also want to watch your South American wars of independence videos. I have waited for so long for someone to make good videos about them, they're so interesting! (And I'm south American myself ๐ )

You only discuss it for a short time, but, after watching this video, i wonder if Nicholas also played a big part in putting Japan on the path that led it to being a WW2 enemy. Perhaps, if the Japanese were treated better and an agreement being reached, Japan would never had fought and defeated Russia, giving it a win over what seemed to be a stronger European empire, giving them the confidence to eventually take on Britain and then the US
