Thanks for this interesting and provocative video! Here are a few thoughts:
1) This is probably part of the reason women tend to want husbands who are tall, with 6 feet typically being about the minimum requirement.
2) As we know, there are successful people who are short. I used to work with a man who was a successful, respected professor--and barely 5 feet tall. I guess Vladimir Putin would be considered successful, even though he is only 5'7". I imagine such people have to work much harder than their taller peers to be successful.
3) I recall reading that a short man who wants to be successful in business, politics, etc. should dress in a manner that exudes authority.
4) I am 6'0" but very "long-waisted" such that my sitting height is greater than most people who are taller than I am. I've noticed that when I'm sitting in an audience, the speaker is somewhat more likely to look directly at me than expected. Perhaps it's simply because I'm more visible with my head sticking up above others.
5) Is there an upper limit to the benefits of being taller? That is, does being 6'8" confer an advantage over being, let's say, 6'2" (other than on a basketball court!)?
6) Does all this hold true for women, too? I'm aware that many of the "supermodels" are around 6 feet.
