I went from not having any money in savings, not investing and living paycheck to paycheck, wondering where all my money had gone -making 25$/hr and getting 90+ hours on each paycheck. Now, I have purchased my first home, have a little over $3k saved and have started investing in the stock market. I appreciate all you do to help those of us who weren't taught at a young age to manage money properly. Next week I'm going back to my home state and I'm going to drill it into my nieces head that she needs to be financially responsible (shes 14, but the younger they start the better off they'll be!)

  47. I never had a savings cushion until starting to watch MM back in 2020. I saved about 4 grand investing 3/4 into divend stocks. Unfortunately I needed majot hip surgery in 2021. The state provided me no financial support and I luckily had this savings to carry me through the 4 month recovery process. After 8 months I've paid off all my debts from the surgery and im working on growing my savings and portfolio again. Thank you for all your wisdom!
