This is a super excellent tutorial, the way you explained, really super easy to understand. This tutorial boosts my knowledge on git and GitLab in such a way that my confidence level on git and GitLab is now on the top, most importantly i have learned what i was looking for. Thank you Valentin!!!

I am lucky to find this video with great info, thanks Valentin. So, I have a question: I got an upfront task / exercise from a company, I completed it and sent it back. It has been around 2 weeks but I haven't gotten any feedback-reply yet. You mentioned that german companies tend to take their time when is about the first contact after applying, how about when is about revieweing a completed upfront exercise, any insights? Thanks in advance!

Wish I had this tutorial when I started learning OAuth2 :D

@vdespa In many ways the exam was exactly what I was expecting. It seemed a great number of questions were almost word for word like the many practice tests I'd taken. I'd also read the glossary and the Scrum guide several times. So, I felt very prepared with the more theoretical questions. I thought that the application questions were tougher than I'd been expecting. But, that's mainly because none of the tests really touch on that type of question in any depth. So, many of the questions that asked me to how I would deal with a certain situation... well, it was literally the first time I'd seen them and I just tried to do my best to think them through.

This is hands down the best video about cookies on the internet. I absolutely love how it goes into details and actually shows in developer tools how this works. I really love how it removes all ambiugity and does not assume that the viewer knows anything. This is just sooo good!

Amazing tutorial, the best I could find in youtube right now. Thank you sir!

Well done! This is a good explanation.

I looked at Postman several months ago but did not want to muck around to learn it. Your video has given me just what I needed in a few minutes to get started and feel comfortable with initial use. Vielen Dank! Genau das ist, was der Artz verordnet hat.

Thank you for this comparison, Valentin!

Great tutorial. Do you know maybe how to make this 5:10 in two steps (= two postman requests ) ? As I understand first step would be request for authorization code and second would be getting access token. I'm just trying to find out what is called with which parameters step by step. I've checked in Postman console what is it happening when getting new access token, but when I'm trying to make it on my own two requests I'm having some problem. I'm getting authorization code, but when I try to get access token I'm getting http 401: { "error": "invalid_client", "error_description": "Given client ID does not match authenticated client" } I have no idea why (it looks that I'm doing exactly what is printed on console for 5:10 but I'm getting HTTP 401 😪 ) [Edit] Some magic. I closed Postman, open it and everything started working :/

Thank you very much it was simple and easy to understand step by step keep growing

Your Postman related tutorials are great. Related to this one I do not understand the advantage of the pre-request script instead of using data file when running a collection. Seems easier for me to create a csv/json file and select it in Collection Runer.

this video has saved me, thank you sir.

The clearest video about cookie imo. Thanks a lot!

great video! and just to update one thing that is missing nowadays:we also have to configure inside the variables the TLS certificate: DOCKER_TLS_CERTDIR: "". otherwise, docker will be available through port 2736 and not 2735. Well, at least I run into this issue with gitlab and that was how I fixed it :) But thanks for your video! really helped me!
4

Thank you so much Valentin. This helped me to learn git , pipelines and to deploy my first website. You just cleared up all my confusions points. I had always coded never done these steps before so I always felt like I don't know something which always made me upset whenever I said I am a web developer. Now I learned a lot from this and read through things while learning. And finally I am a confident web developer. Thank you so much
