  4. Don't try and overtake elephants it's their natural habitat and humans are guests. Elephants take that behavior of humans as challenging their territory. They will usually warn you by flapping their ears start blowing their trumpet best to back off slowly instead of forcing your way through it will end in tears.. People are given theses rules when entering the game reserves specially if it's self drive. A couple that tried to overtake elephants the last time we visited the Kruger National Park learnt that lesson the hard way. Don't provoke the animals. Respect nature and the animals that live there or they will deal with you.

  10. Darren Watters - There hot or warm and this helps them regulate their body temperature. Ele ear skin is very thin and each has thousands of blood vessels in them, so they loose heat through their ears. As we humans would use a fan.

  20. Dammit the ignorance and hubris of humans! Why do we think we are the only ones to communicate and have intellectual thought? Those elephants have no idea who those people are or what their motive is! Do you think elephants haven’t made the connection between vehicles with people showing up and the poaching and killing of their loved ones and family? If you look and watch they are reacting the same way we would if we were hiking and a bear came upon us. Might be safe, might not be. They know. Give them that dignity.

  34. A truly delightful sighting. Lovely to see the Rhino so laid back and relaxed, just cooling down in the water. Cute little Vervets flitting around on the waters edge and the Impala quenching their thirst. A very peaceful scene indeed. Thank you so much as always Wildest Kruger.
