I'm a cancer researcher, and let me tell you, your case is every laboratory personnel's worst nightmare. We want to give you the correct diagnosis as soon as possible, but that also means we will not give you half/potentially wrong diagnoses... and as for the timing, usually labs prefer to run tests sequentially instead of concurrently, due to the pricing. So we start with the easy, cheap tests that find most of the diagnoses, and then move on to harder and more expensive methods until we find an answer. The test I am most familiar with takes anywhere between 24-48 hours to run and then another 12 hours to properly analyze the data. So in a bad scenario, lets say the test is set up on a thursday, it could be the monday that the data is analyzed.... and if the answer does not come from that test, we have to run another one. This is not to make you feel less bad about the time it is taking (because I fully agree, this is taking long) but just to help you understand what is going on behind the scenes. I imagine the scientist assigned your case is having sleepless nights over it. And for the question why not put your most advanced test first? Well..... so the test I mentioned previously is somewhere in the middle of extreme testing and can cost 10 grand per test.... 😬 hospitals and labs make choices based on their resources (which is probably also why it was send to London, they have more resources) and then you end up with scenarios like this. The doctor not understanding the report is also not surprising to me, they are experienced in entirely different lingo than the molecular jargon. Keep on fighting! I assure you the scientists and doctors will too ❤

I discovered I had a tumor in March last year, I had a craniotomy and I experienced what you are going through. It's very difficult not to know if you have cancer or not and I know that all the torrent of thoughts eats away at the soul. After six weeks, I received a soul-soothing message: I didn't have cancer. Even better: I didn't have a tumor, but rather the rupture of a gigantic AVM that, unfortunately, killed part of my brain and made my neurosurgeon believe that I had a tumor that was bleeding.
Everyone who goes through similar episodes (tumor, aneurysm, AVM, bleeding or any other event that affects the brain) begins to see life from a different perspective and reconsiders priorities and thoughts.
I really hope that you have the best prognosis possible and that, in the future, you can look back on everything you've been through and be proud that you won this battle.

Éireann,
I will take some time to absorb everything you have shared with us. Thank you for updating, I was right here waiting when the video went up.
You are so strong. I thank you for the message about sometimes just needing a cry and then other times, it’s grand. I’m in that mindset myself, I think. (I’ve been having mystery symptoms including seizures and spinal issues. Docs are still trying to figure out what to do with me. Some days I feel like I can do anything. Others, I’m crying alone in my bathroom from the weight of it all.)
My honest advice, truly: do not panic. Try not to let your mind go to that dark place. It’s okay if it does, it’s only human. But don’t reside there ❤ You got this, girl. Medical professionals will tell us all the time, based on the typical patient, what “will” happen to us. But God is with us. God is supreme!!!
This was one of my grandmother’s favorite poems, I’ll share it with you here. It’s a very famous one called Footprints in the Sand:
One night I dreamed a dream.
As I was walking along the beach with my Lord,
across the dark sky flashed scenes from my life.
For each scene, I noticed two sets of footprints in the sand,
One belonging to me and one to my Lord.
After the last scene of my life flashed before me,
I looked back at the footprints in the sand.
I noticed that at many times along the path of my life,
especially at the very lowest and saddest times,
there was only one set of footprints.
This really troubled me, so I asked the Lord about it.
"Lord, you said once I decided to follow you,
You'd walk with me all the way.
But I noticed that during the saddest and most troublesome times of my life,
there was only one set of footprints.
I don't understand why, when I needed You the most, You would leave me."
He whispered, "My precious child, I love you and will never leave you.
Never, ever, during your trials and testings.
When you saw only one set of footprints,
It was then that I carried you."
❤❤❤
So many hugs going out to you. Please keep us posted if you wish to do so. We all will be here for you. I might be back to comment again later when things have absorbed. I can’t imagine how you must be feeling, but want you to know that you are not alone. Not at all ❤ You’ve got all of us :)
Brandi 💜

@diaryofeireann 🥰 I learned that there are two ways to go when you are facing your own mortality: 1) You can fall into the deep well of despair and feel even worse or 2) You can continue to do like you are doing now - by sharing your journey, and being that powerful light that guides you through the tunnels of the unknown. After I was released from the hospital, I began writing a journal online; and I shared it with whoever wanted to read it. I wanted to remember everything I felt and did while I was healing. It was the greatest therapy, and it still is to this day. What you are doing is giving hope to everyone. You have this special gift, this special purpose to share every nuance, every stage of your journey - all the peaks and valleys, every step, with the thousands of people online who only know your story from afar, and yet they still feel like family. Several years from now, when the day comes when you watch these videos again, your long journey will reveal how strong you were, how much stronger you have become, and just how much you have grown as a wonderful, beautiful human being.

Éireann, my dear friend, I feel that in this situation it may be useful to look at things from the other perspective. Yes, they don't exactly 100% know what it is, but they do know what it isn't. And I believe that at this point, all the worst and even moderately bad diagnoses have been excluded. It just doesn't take them that long to diagnose brain cancers which sadly are not that uncommon (still rare of course, but not unheard of like some other ultra-rare things). So what is important is that whatever it is, it's not something bad and aggressive. Most likely something benign, as some of these brain tumors are extremely rare. And the rare it is, of course the harder it is to diagnose. That said, I do hope that you find out for sure very soon. Hugs!

Really good update even tho you’ve had no discovery about the type of tumor. It may be because the lab could be running genetic tests and that would take a long time to get an absolute diagnosis back. Truly am glad you have ya da with you at this time, it’s important to have family. Now for a few words of encouragement... seriously live each moment, each day as if you were before. The mind is really capable of regeneration and healing, the key is to have no stress or worry. I’m still alive and you mentioned in the video about the glioma, well, Secret is to live in the moment, be grateful and happy. Look in the mirror, the young lass who has come to this day so strong in a short time after such a craniotomy. Sure ya will have nerves regenerating that can feel painful, pins needles, completely numb... but this is the healing process. Just remember to not chew gum too harshly, trust me, TMJ is awful to get from over chewing gum. Anywho.. you are doing so wonderful !!!! Although I would seriously reconsidering dying hair tho, maybe just the top carefully if that is what you truly desire, but the harsh chemicals can leech into scar area that’s still healing... I made that mistake, but it’s up to each person and their own decision. Have an excellent Christmas 🎄 🙏. 👍

It was gut wrenching listening to your story, and I wish you the best. You must feel
like your being mentally tortured, by having this dragged out so long. I try to put
myself in someone else's shoes all the time, and you must be having lots of
conflicting thoughts -- "like"-- if it was good news, they'd tell me over the phone, and
not to worry. On the other hand, you might be thinking it's medium OK news, that
it's going to take continuous treatment, but you'll be ok in the long run,and they
have to sit you down, and tell you why this was so complicated ? I just hope the
very best for you, and really empathize with the mixed feelings you must be
experiencing. Even myself, will tune into your channel, and find out what the final
diagnoses is ? Also could be really good news in that, they "just don't know"and were
unable to identify what kind of tumour it is -- which would be great. Because it's
taken so long, this may be exactly what's going on, and that would be good, if
they don't know what it is,so then it becomes a long term waiting game.
I'm from Canada living in an adjacent province to yours in Ontario, and I can tell
you I think we have one of the most technically advanced medical systems in
the entire world. I feel you anxiety over this, and the mixed emotions you must be
going thru, but you look great, and talk great, which is a very good sign,of health.
I don't think anyone knows what your going thru other than you,and you sure have
been keeping a brave and positive attitude, and I hope the "final diagnosis"is very
positive, and your able to live a long happy life. All the very best to you,as you
sound like such a beautiful great young woman. Just randomly came across your
channel, and subscribed, your story grabbed a piece of my heart.Good luck Eireann :)

For what it’s worth for the people who are saying she should know by now, I worked in a cancer lab for five years. My own cancer was sent out for genetic testing, and was never pinpointed, my mother‘s cancer, same thing. They even took it to the tumor board and no one could pinpoint it.
Cancer is ever evolving, and sometimes, in spite of all the tests available to us, there are limitations. Of course, it is best to know exactly what you’re dealing with, but if they can’t definitively determined exactly what type of cancer this is, that in no way shape or form means she is lying. It just means she’s going to get potentially less targeted treatment.
Don’t listen to the knuckleheads, love. Keep your head as high as you can. Enjoy the holidays. I know it’s hard having something like this looming over your head, no pun intended, but whatever it is is out now so at least there’s peace in that. I’m praying for you and I know a lot of people are.

we all have sinned and fall short Of God's Glory, we are worthy of being thrown into the lake of fire but God provided Forgivness Trough Jesus Christ Who died for us, confess Him As Lord with your mouth and believe In Him, confess your sin and turn from them, get baptized
Romans 10:9-10
[9]that if you confess with your mouth the Lord Jesus and believe in your heart that God has raised Him from the dead, you will be saved.
[10]For with the heart one believes unto righteousness, and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation.
2 Timothy 2:19
[19]Nevertheless the solid foundation of God stands, having this seal: “The Lord knows those who are His,” and, “Let everyone who names the name of Christ depart from iniquity.”
Acts 2:37-38
[37]Now when they heard this, they were cut to the heart, and said to Peter and the rest of the apostles, “Men and brethren, what shall we do?”
[38]Then Peter said to them, “Repent, and let every one of you be baptized in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of sins; and you shall receive the gift of the Holy Spirit.

Hi Eireann,
I live in South Africa. The sun is always shining here and there is always the risk of developing skin cancer if you have a light skin. I developed a growth on the lower eye lid of my right eye. I do not know if it is cancer or just a benign growth but I went on a high nutrition diet for about two months and the growth have shrunk noticeably.
I would like to share the diet with you.
The soup
Ingredients: - two handfuls of Chopped broccoli, one chopped onion (purple), two bags of green tea, two pinches of mixed herbs, two sticks of cut celery, Two handfuls of frozen and crushed spinach or kale, half a table spoon of crushed garlic, Three shakes of black pepper, seven shakes of turmeric, two tablespoons full of apple cider vinegar (with the mother), one bag of white onion powder soup for flavour, a hand full of cooked red speckled beans and a handful of cooked mince meat.
Just add all the ingredients in a pot, add boiling water and switch the stove on high till the water boils. Then lower the heat until the water simmer, Let the soup simmer for an hour. The soup is now ready.
I would only drink water in the morning. At 12h00 I would start eating the soup. There will be about two helpings that you can eat in the 12h00 to 18h00 time frame. I also ate a fruit salad every day in the 12h00 to 18h00 time frame.
(Note: Apparently turmeric reduces the effect of some chemotherapy drugs and thus should not be taken during chemotherapy.)
During the rest of the week I would also eat food that contains vitamin D like avocado’s, mushrooms, liver and eggs in the 12h00 to 18h00 time frame.
It seems to be working for me, maybe it will also work for you.
I pray to God the Father in the name of Jesus Christ that you will be healed completely. Amen
Best regards
Chris
“For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life”. John 3:16 (King James Version Bible)
Jesus Christ is the only begotten Son Of God the Father.
