"No Charlemagne, no! You can't just eat cheetos for breakfast!....Because they're not good for you, you need to eat real food....Well, we still eat them because they taste good....Whatever, c'mon, I gotta show you what a car is, we're going to McDonalds....No, it's a restaurant, not a farm....Well a restaurant is- nevermind, c'mon. There's food there....Well no, it's not healthy either, and neither is Wendy's. Or Burger King....Wow, we really don't eat very well do we?....No you can't get wine at McDonalds."

This was my first exposure to your work. Being on the believer side of perspectives, I nonetheless have become bored with much of the material out there and have been seeking for coverage which is at once more deep in its investigation as well as earnest in its coverage (My assessment of Fugel's "show" is consistent with your own--sensational). I have been consistently and diligently reading, watching, learning as much as I could in the topics of UFOs, metaphysical reality, NDEs, paranormal, etc the last decade roughly. As much as a normal busy life can permit. I can say I am CERTAIN there is an aspect of reality we as yet do not even come close to apprehending in our normal understanding of science--that much has become clear, even after weeding out all the chaff out there. Consequently, it is also my conclusion that all these topics: UFOs, abductions, NDEs, Cryptids, paranormal events and phenomena, metaphysics, space travel--are all related, all part of the same incomprehensible quality of reality, we have yet to understand.
So, I am happy to say, your handling of this, the Skinwalker Ranch topic, was exceptional, and I am inspired to investigate your other offerings. Well done!

Archangels aren't angels of the highest rank, traditionally. They're the second lowest. From the bottom up, there are angels, archangels, principalities in the Third Order or Choir (lowest one, which interacts most regularly with the physical world as messengers to individuals or groups of people), above them are powers, virtues, and dominions, which look after more abstract concepts, natural processes, or what entire nations do and as such are not overly concerned with individual mortal affairs, as the Second Order/Choir, and the First Order/Choir, are the Ophanim, Cherubim, and Seraphim. While alternative ways of organizing angels were noted at times, that was the most popular setup in the entire medieval period and renaissance and is still used in numerous churches.
However, that system also maintains an angel can actually act in different functions and thus hold multiple positions. The reason venerations of Saint Michael as an archangel are related to the belief that the function that most directly concerns mortals is his function as a direct messenger to humans. Archangels, however, are not ever considered the highest type traditionally, but rather among those angels a human is most likely to interact with directly, and angels and archangels, as messengers, and thus in the grand cosmic scheme of things not as important. Michael is considered also a Seraphim or Cherubim, depending on the ordering of the First Choir (depending on if one believes Seraphim or Cherubim are the superior in their order), since Michael has also been considered the first among angels after the war between fallen angels saw Sammael (that's the traditional name given to Satan/Lucifer, both of which are just titles given to him, and Lucifer is used for a lot of positive characters and not meant to be used for him except in a past tense) defeated.

Hi! I am from Chile, and I must say that the work you did is amazing!, you covered everything in a very detailed way, It is great to see videos like this that talk of this region of the world, and for my part, the most interesting legend of my country may be the one about the warlocks of Chiloe, beacuse it is not just a mere history of the island, it is a horror tale, a cult of devil worshipers and the black arts that lie in the caves and islands of the archipelago, they are presented as evil human beings who have made pacts to gain unnatural abilities and personal benefit from them . The monsters that you mentioned, the imbunche, were actually little children who were kidnapped by the warlocks and through torture and black magic they were disfigured until they became their mindless servants, they protect the caves where the cult of the warlocks called ''the majority'' lies. They dedicate themselves to whatever field they want, from the search for power over nature to find mortal riches. And long ago it was said that they "flew at night" due to their ability to become birds, but many people now say that they fly in the day....
but of course, it is just an interesting legend of an island in the south of the continent! ...
or maybe not?

Fire of Learning, your videos are as great as ever. In fact, I think your presenting abilities have increased with every new video you bring to our eyes and ears. I just have one point I'd like to share with you: Your mic volume is too quiet! I have to turn my volume up to 100%, and even then, I need to make sure my listening environment is as quiet as possible to catch all your voice. Could you compress your audio some more? Or add gain to your mic somehow? I remember a few weeks ago you posted about acquiring a new mic. For what it's worth, the sharpness of sound is fantastic - It's just the commentary is being robbed to an extent because the volume is not as loud as I think it should be. All the best! Loving your series on fruits, and loved your Christmas doc! Be well and enjoy these darkest months of winter. Godspeed.
Edit: Just for yucks, I plugged in my headphones, and I can hear you loud and clear. But out of my speaker laptops, the volume is super quiet. Curious. Other youtube videos out my laptop's speakers are certainly louder than this, but with headphones, I am at 40% and I can hear loudly and clearly. Not sure if this insight is of any value, but I just wanted to make you aware. Take care.

Very well done! You have some excellent information in here. To build on what you've got:
Cucabrids were orginally introduced to the Americas by mega fauna, who would eat the fruits and disperse the seeds in their poop. The wild pumpkin or field pumpkin, is now extinct, but was the particular favorite food of mastodons and ground sloths, which we know from fossils from central America. Field pumpkins were native to marshy areas and to the edges of fields, where they would feed on the nutrients provided by the marshy soil and the dung of megafauna. Pumpkins of all sorts are still big feeders and require lots of fertilizer in the garden for this reason.
Today there are four species of pumpkin, C.pepo, C.maxima, C.moschata, and C.aegyrosperma. Pepo pumpkins are the carving pumpkins with breeds like Howden, Casper, Jack O Lantern, and Connecticut Field. Maxima are the biggest fruits in the world, with breeds like Cinderella, Big Max, Giant, and Colossal. Moschata pumpkins are the most widely cultivated and the best eating pumpkins like Kombocha, Butternut, Calabaza squash, Marrow squash, and Cheese Pumpkin. And aegyrosperma pumpkins are the closest related to modern goards, and are mostly for decorations including, Jack Be Littles, Sugar Pie, Turban pumpkins, Crook Necks and Barred.
All species and breeds of pumpkins are edible though the Pepo pumpkins are fairly bland and watery, and all pumpkins are rich in vitamins and beta carotene.

When I was 15 years old and emerging from a coma age a traumatic brain injury, I kept dreaming that I was asleep and couldn't wake up. Whenever I tried, "They" (it was never clear in the dream who "they" were) kept "pushing me back under, saying that I'm asleep and can't wake up." Of course my coma was being discussed in my presence all the time, though my family, friends, and care team wild have been thrilled if I had worn up sooner. One day for some reason (it was the day they were going to drill a hole in my skull to relieve the pressure on my brain, but I didn't understand that), my dream self was tired of being "made" to stay asleep, so I fought really hard to wake up-- which kept my skull unbridled and in one piece! I do believe some part of my brain was functioning and protecting itself, especially since it's entirely in character for me to resist doing something until the last possible moment.

No phone lines out that far yet, so yea, prob no phone... Neighbors are, at closest, around a mile or more away, and very few, so prob didn't hear much, esp. considering how forested the area is... BTW, he didn't say it, I don't think... But there was a neighbor (or 2) that reported hearing gunshots after dark, but assumed it was raccoon hunters (etc). Anyways, I'm just tryin to help answer your questions, I'm not tryin to be rude, or anything like that lol... I'm from the area, and I've studied this case a lot. God Bless ya friend!

Hi FofL, I love your video documentaries so much, and this one is another very well put-togother piece of work. So, many thanks for all the sweat involved and for sharing your knowledge with us.
But, if I may ask you a favour, is it okay for you to use (or at least include) *metres, *kilometres, *centimetres and so on in your future productions??
It's because, in mainland Europe, we've learnt the metric systems only (cm, litre, kilogram), and it feels so awkward to hear things in feet, miles, stones, pints,... (imperial system, in other words).
It would make life a little easier.
Thanks a lot again!

You cover history and other, sometimes unrelated topics such as sleep and dreams, extremely well, and with excellent graphics, and always in an essay or "reading from notes" fashion. I wonder what kind of videos you might be able to produce if you were interviewed, or if you were an interviewer, and recorded such sessions as a video podcast, such as Joe Rogan. When reading from notes, it comes across as a lecture, and I mean that in the most positive and literary sense. However, after a long while, it does lend itself to being somewhat routine or, worst case, (very rarely, however) occasionally monotonous. Have you considered doing a podcast or trying an interview format? I'd love to hear (and see) you queried more about Lucid Dreams, for example. - j q t -

Dude, I hope you read this. My great ancestor was with your great ancestor who came on the first voyage to colonize New France, (Canada). Possibly, even on the exact same boat!! If you've done your research, it was a small group of families from a small village in France, named Martaize. Who were the first signateurs for the expedition of Charles de Menou d'Aulnay. It was a small group of families, maybe 10 or so. My family, and your family were both ones that signed for the first voyage to carve out New France, in Canada. It's crazy how hundreds of years later we, the ancestors of a small group of pioneers have found each other again through the internet. My family ended up choosing to leave during the exile after British won control of Canada, and moved to the rest of New France. Did your family also choose to leave to the rest of New France after the British victory?
I'm almost 100% sure our families worked and knew each other through their pioneerings of the New World. I'd be exstatic to hear back from you.

I have to say, your accounts seem like subjects that you have researched thoroughly. Some of the stories I see on YouTube are "scary" (not) stories, that you can tell are obvious attempts by a writer wannabee, although a talented one. But by the point of view, writing style that is the same in every story (though the person is supposed to be reading letters from people he had never met), and the fact that every story followed a very similar plot line with the details being changed to make each story appear to be unique, they're not.
They were in no way unique. Having a degree in English, and being an avid reader of diverse fiction and non-fiction as well as being a writer on and off, it was easy to see these discrepancies.
Your work, however, rings true in every respect. It is obvious from this account that you, and only you, researched and wrote the account. And you did it extremely well, without the fake "spooky" voice or other cheesy trappings of others (you probably know the individuals I'm speaking of.)
Congratulations. I'm very familiar with the details of the Ranch, and you've done excellent work relating this story.
