It is not the same today -- families seem to be fractured and there just isn't time for looking out for older family members. Scarey times

She's living an active lifestyle, traveling, and living her best life. She looks amazing, she's healthy, brilliant, and just so charming. If she has a channel, please let us know.   18. What a beautiful teardrop camper!! It has everything you need INCLUDING the wet room that many rv’s, larger vehicles, campers don’t have but that air conditioner is absolutely a game changer.   24. I live in a sticks & bricks. I have thought about what this video is about & plan to stock up and shelter in place. I am 69 years old and never thought our country would be where it is today. It deeply saddens me that some candidates don’t accept the will of the people & know how to lose graciously. I believe that at sometime in the future all unhoused people no matter where will be criminalized.

  25. Hi, i have been 15 years in my microvan. I doubt there is something i haven't seen done.I have stopped speaking to people about "how to". I realised the biggest obstacle is not "how to". The biggest obstacle is the voice in their heads that says "i want it THIS way", or "that's ok for you, but i couldn't live THAT way". The obstacle is in the mind, not the physical reality. Heal the mind and the way becomes obvious.

  28. I am 60. I am caring for my bedridden mother around the clock. When this started 5 years ago, I never anticipated that she would not recover enough for things to go back to the way they were. I quit my job to care for her. I have no doubt she would not be here today had I not. So almost 6 years later I am getting close to be able to draw social security. Even if I had kept working the last 5 years I know that it would not have significantly raised my Social Security benefits. If my mother is still around when I draw it will help us financially but if not, I don't think I will be able to make it if I draw at 62 or at 66. It is sad. And the fact that the Govt. is trying to phase out what widows or widowers are able to draw off of a deceased spouse is shameful! There needs to be some serious restructering of our system.

For those who think Bob Wells is not doing a good job because he does not do a reality check that Carol did, u have not watched enough of his videos. bob is not advocating for u to live in a van for d heck of it, but his videos are to enlighten u what van dwelling s all about and how to survive living in one, if your other option is being homeless. He teaches u d ropes, share how others do it, explains how to live on a budget. Again, he doesn’t convince u to get rid of your apartment or home and do van life because it s better. If you will b homeless because of circumstances, then he teaches you how to live in a vehicle which s definitely better than living in a tent. Just making this comment since one viewer here stated that Bob s not doing enough transparency to d nomad community😅

  35. Holy crow!!! My sister and I stayed there during WRTR and RTR! We made an effort to get to know our neighbors and they clued us in on a guy staying somewhat close by that appeared to be schizophrenic and not medicated. Also, after I was there, car camping for 2 days, my sister came in her Class A, other neighbors came over and told her to they didn't like her running her generator because they slept in and, they would be staying up late and playing their music, so they would not be changing that. He also said that where we were was where their friends were coming to stay as well. We had every right to be there, by law, but we moved anyway because we didn't trust them to not slit our tires or some other vandalism. It is not 'perfectly safe' as many other solo female nomads will claim. Keep your spidey-senses up!   36. As we age I feel it's important to have a purpose, have community and be self sufficient all we can. Until we can't. Instead of curling up into a fetal position as life pushes us aside trying harder to live like Terry will only open a path to thrive rather than exist I feel its important for us all to support each other as a old person family unit .For many and most of us (not all) the best families are families we chose or chose us. Doesn't have to be forever. But we can support each other when when our support is needed

  37. I think it is polite and quaint, which is pretty surely appreciated by people from their era. Had they not liked it, they would have said "You can just call me Lois" or whatever, and it never would have made it into the video. My oldest sister is a year younger than Lois, and is happy to be called whatever you wish, by anyone who takes the time to talk to her. Our parents didn't mind being addressed by their first name, by anyone within a generation or so of their age, but generally did prefer the Mr/Mrs treatment from anyone younger than that, or anyone they didn't really know.
