  11. Looks like an upscale version of a Hawaiian Loco moco. Rice or fried rice with a hamburger, egg and heavy all over. With the amount of Japanese visitors to Hawaii (and their appetite for our unhealthy, but tasty breakfasts) it wouldn't surprise me in the least. Geez, that kitchen was unbelievably clean! ❤

  34. This Master Chef is inspiring on all levels. Listening to his story had me shedding some tears. The more I listened and watched his work, I realized that those of use with two arms and always seem to complain about everything should be quiet and be grateful for what they have. This man is a gift from God and through him, he is showing unemployed people that one can do anything if they really want to. There should be a movie made about this man's life and especially his journey to becoming a Master Chef!

  37. One of my favourite dishes here in Germany is just cabbage and meat and as side dish then potatoes. We normally use minced meat for it. Seasoning is of course different too. We use caraway/ caraway seed(i don't know which one is the right for what I mean) mostly for seasoning. But this dishes look amazing too. Definitely a must eat for my first visit in japan 😁

  38. At my cousin's bakery, they make their breads in the evening around 9.00pm then, bake all of the bread at 3.00 am. They will sell all of it start at 5.00 am because all the people wake up at 5.00 am to buy breads at the bakery... then the process repeats all over again.

  44. Ask any line cook to watch this and they will have admiration for this man. It’s an odd thing to notice but kitchen staff can watch this and see the movements he has and be inspired. His movements are quick and deliberate which only comes about from years of cooking. It is poetic in a way to watch him cook. Thank you for sharing this video
