Best rule world rugby introduced ever?
95
I can't help but feel that all of these were only one in a billion moments and not a trillion. Very misleading.
95
Imagine tripping a player, getting caught and then deciding to do it again lol
95
Not enough Underhill
94
Any excuse to show that Van Der Merve try again, love it
94
No matter how many times I watch it every time I watch Sam Underhill’s tackle vs Wales, I still ask myself “How the fuck did he do that?”
93
Top player. His post-contact metres, momentum-stopping hits in defence, incredible ability to jackal for a bloke of his size, defensive organisation, and soft hands made him one of the best 8s of recent times. Great compilation too, thank you 👌
93
I just love the lines he picks. Hits it a full tilt, wouldn’t fancy trying to stop him
93
While all the other top outhalfs of the pro era were or are exceptional at some aspects Carter was exceptional at every aspect of 10 play. Won't be matched for a long time.
92
There’s something so satisfying about a really spot-on pass
92
Wheres Andy Goode?????????
92
Great video as always. Love Owens' management at 6:38. He has the psychology of the game down to a tee.
92
That one against du plessis was absolute bs, and im english
92
To have that much pace and still be able to deliver such an explosive step whilst at full tilt is insane. The greatest ever. A player I could watch for hours
91
That Japan win against South Africa is one of my favourite rugby memories ever. Nothing against the Boks at all but I live in Brighton and was watching it on the big screen in the fanzone on the beach and the atmosphere was unbelievable and continued all over the city all night. I made some new friends from both Japan and SA that night. Magical.
91
Seriously, that first try is better than Saint-André's against England in 1991 and right up there with the "try from the end of the earth" in 1994. Quite simply a sensational score from set-piece!
90
Aah!!! Waited 11mins for Nigel's "Christopher!!" Master to pupil warning. Some good old stuff there too with Clive Norling! Superb work as usual, Andrew. And when are you going to tell us how the hell you do this??........
90
There was a story I was told that Marler would go into pubs and clubs as a young man, find the toughest looking bloke there and try fight them. He would either win or lose, but kept doing it over and over. I don't know if its true or not but would explain a few things!
90
I think it should be clear that not all of these players are equal in their thuggery. Some of them are REALLY bad, proper thuggery, and some of them are crossing the line but what you might expect from a physical high intensity game like rugby. Breaking someones arm and gouging eyes (I would have gone with Julien Dupuy at scrum half not Parra) are not equivalent to a high tackle or a scuffle
90
3:48 is RUSSELL vs england, no scotland 5:43 is IRIBAREN vs munster, no toulon
89
Honestly Andrew Forde you are an absolute beast. Such frequent, quality videos. Thank you for your work, can't wait till 100K and beyond ;)
89
absolute unit of a woman
88
Would only be fitting for a minutes silence to be held during wales opening six nations match next year, for me he was the voice of the 6 nations.
88
England are 20% better when he’s playing
88
That is quite possibly the best montage video you have done yet. Excellent work
88
Really hoping he gets player of the tournament, both he and Italy deserve it
87
His son’s comment”you’re still the best, dad” will be what Sexton is remembered for. A great competitor, he has brought Ireland’s rugby standards up to the stratosphere. Rugby is growing fast in Ireland, and future is bright.
87
Only person that truly deserves a tribute video is Andrew Forde
87
Can we talk about how accurate that drop kick from Beauden was at the start? And straight from a pass? Crazy
87
I love tadgh berine placing the ball for dupont 😂 hilarious watching it live
86
This is one of the most underrated rugby channels
86
A last chance dive, a momentary act of desperation when all else has failed and the gas is running out, the opponent is getting closer towards the try line at a pace you just can't match, last moment, last dive, finger tips to the ankle, praying, hoping, looking up and seeing them tumble. Nothing better in the world.
86
Ford / Eastmond / JJ together as a midfield was some of the best rugby I've ever watched, had the privilege of witnessing it live in 2015 at the Rec a couple of times.
86
With his emphasis on perfect passing technique and delivery of quick frontfoot ball, he was a revolutionary player when he burst into the scene, as I don't think any other halfback prior to him had such quality of delivery. . The game has circled back to where players in that role are expected to do do a bit more of game management and tactical kicking (ie. Dupont, Faf) but let"s never forget Nudge's contribution to the game, especially in that 2011-2015 era, where he was at the heart of the All Blacks dominance.
85
Is this anyone else’s first time hearing Andrew’s voice after all these years of top class videos?
85
The content we need, but not the content we deserve. Absolutely brilliant as always, Andy!
85
If Bouthier did that kick under the 50-22 rule, I don’t think I would be able to cope with how perfect it was
84
Can't believe he never scored a try for England. But that head assist more than makes up for it. 😂
84
Outrageous highlight real for a 21 year old. He's seriously got the potential to be one of the best out there and I just know that him and Crowley will be driving eachother on.
84
This man is like the Kevin De Bruyne of rugby.
84
It happens to everyone to have a brain fade moment, but then, there's Macalou.
84
I've never been more proudly Xhosa, I grew up to animated Xhosa commentary just like this.. This is how its always been Football, Rugby and Cricket. Enough respect and RIP braKaunda
84
You should make a video on the opposite. When players have been yellowed or red carded for no apparent reason, like the Bismarck incident with Dan Carter.
83
If Eddie Jones doesn't pick him for the world cup then it'll be seriously disappointing
83
Easily the most destructive winger in world rugby on his day. It’s like he’s made of steel
83
Great tribute to a highly underrated player. Intelligent, versatile, adaptive and surprisingly strong. His unseen defensive work is phenomenal and its great to see it all come together for him.
83
Having seen how funny she is on social media, I always forget that she can back it up on the field as well lmao
83
I loved when Kaunda referred to Makazole Mapimpi as "iphimphi" which means cobra. He used to say "leli iphimphi linobungozi ne thyefu futhi liyakwazi ukuyibulala ingonyama"(hopefully i got the spelling right) and what that means is that "this cobra(makazole mapimpi) is dangerous/deadly and has got poison and it knows how to kill a lion" and he said that when Mapimpi scored a try against The Lions. Kaunda was pure poetic and how i wish everyone could understand what he was saying about Siya Kolisi's first game as a captain.
82
Gentleman off the field. I remember a couple years ago sitting with my dad at Scotstoun watching Glasgow v Saracens and our seats were right next to the opposition seating area. There weren’t enough subs seats there when he came off so he asked if he could sit in the seat that was free next to me. Chatted with him for the rest of the game. Great guy!
82
The fact that everyone has basically accepted that he will be an Italian legend already is amazing
