  8. It’s not just the Bradley, it’s also the Abrams and APC’s. The real issue is that this is essentially a proxy war that is leading us directly into a third world war. I will say, we aren’t ready for it. Some units right now are operating at a 49% MTOE, with the direction the military continues to traverse, in the next couple years we could see that percentage plummet for innumerable reasons the DOD AND DOA continually neglect. There is a palpable fragility in the military rn.

If I were to GUESS what is accually happening is that Ukraine has like 20k shells left to use among the very few amount of artillery pieces that Germany has sent that cant really use the same exact ammo as you mentioned in the video so it is still a fair amount that might last a while and because it is the internet they will say "NATO only has 20k artillery shells left" which is technically not wrong as long as u consider the couple pieces of artillery that the germans provided Ukraine as being all of NATO. I guarantee that if you dig any deeper you will find that nato has a LOT more than 20k shells in total. Edit:I did some googling and apparently nato has the capability to produce roughly 450 thousand rounds of artillery each year which if you take a calculator and multiply that by the amount of years scince say the original m109 variants went into service you get a lot more then the million or so that were sent to Ukraine even if you assume that they fired like a third in Afghanistan and the gulf war and so on and another third in training you will still have quite a lot more shells then were what was sent to Ukraine especially a lot more than 20 thousand and that is not including that production numbers back in the cold war were much higher so this article has absolutely no truth to it
