Recently i've been thinking on how this works, and what do you know? Just in time you published a video about it, i'm All geared up for learning! Thank you, Virtual Professor!
78
Again, one of the best produced videos on YouTube. Clear graphics, proper use of terms, and clear and concise language used. A joy to watch and learn even when I think I know the subject matter. Very, very well done and most appreciated. Take your coffee!
77
Hey Engineering Mindset. Just wanted to say I seriously love this video. I'm starting from the absolute beginning and your tutorial is easy to understand yet thorough. I was watching a tutorial from a different channel and I noticed the comments had some safety-related concerns so I searched again and found this. I feel like I'm learning an actual life skill. Not going to be an electrical engineer lol, but this will help to identify if* something is still live or reading correctly. Thank you all so much for making this
77
Man, this video is pure quality, thanks for explaining in such detail how this circuit works
77
I got an overwhelming stimulation in my brain because the way this is explained is so easy to understand. It's as though a fog over my mind when thinking about this topic was cleared completely and almost instantly.
76
Your videos help me as an apprentice electrician.
76
Thank you for sharing this. This has got to be THE best Resistor and LED introduction lesson on the web! You have amazing sense for explaining and lecturing. Insta subbed.
75
I have been teaching physics, engineering, and robotics for 30 years. I have watched thousands of videos explaining these concepts. These videos stand out as exceptional in their quality. The order of concepts presented and the clarity in which they are explained is stunning. Furthermore, I have now watched no less than 30 videos on the Engineering Mindset, and they are all of this quality.
74
"I'm gonna go get the papers, get the papers."
72
I watch this series whenever I need to chill.

Now this channel is an actual educational one, great videos and quality, also the examples that you put along the real life footage are amazing 10/10 👍

It’s because of videos like these that I’m able to learn so much about engineering! Thank you ❤

Hey Paul, you’re awesome! Could you do a video explaining how dimmer switches work; in 1950 when they used resistors and then how they now work using semiconductors? I’m struggling to visualize these concepts, thanks for all you’ve done for my understanding of electrical engineering!
69
By far the most comprehensive video I have seen on resistors. Good Job!

Man did I luck out. I was on a little wikipedia-train going through articles on electricity, as my understanding isn't super great (physics was my worst class in high school). I came to youtube to look for 'how does a transformer work', found your video, and come to find this series of videos that is actively being uploaded (this specific video is a day old). Crazy luck. Also, 'All the power!'.
68
I'm speechless. I've been watching this series for hours. I am a high voltage electrician apprentice. Generation, transmission and distribution substations... This video series on electrical theory, single and 3 phase power is simply perfect. Information taught this well is literally priceless and it's free to all. As it should be. However. Your effort in production and your ability to convey concepts is unmatched. I can't thank you enough, not just for myself but for anyone watching this and learning from it. What a gift.
68
I want to truly thank you for your videos , I am a french student in preparatory classes and you explained very well how electrical component (inductor ,capacitor ...) work with simple explication ( water tank...) you help us a lots (i just start the électromagnétism i wait your videos on it :) ). This regulator project was amazing thank you and go on :)
68
out freakin standing! I am just teaching myself electronics and at 70 it is harder than I thought.. But your videos break it down to total understanding for me.. thanks little brother.. you da man!
67
Your videos have been more explanatory than both my trade school and Devry when I was a young man. I'm 50 now, and feel a bit embarrassed to finally learn things like regulators and capacitors long after I should have, but appreciate these videos. I have sent you some small change to buy that cup of coffee.
66
YES THANK YOU FINALLY A GREAT VIDEO ON THIS TOPIC
66
Perhaps the most important invention in modern history
64
I've got to say. Long time viewer and I always love how break things down and show the engineering and scientific principles of the kit and tools we use on the day to day. I'm not an engineer by trade but Ive had to work engineering management where knowledge of the principles which my hardware operated were essential. Your videos have helped me understand things which fell on deaf ears in grade school. Thank you!
64
How did you know i needed this video?
63
This video was absolutely fantastic, answered every question I had on how these batteries worked and your animations made it really easy to understand. I also watch a lot of your other videos and I have to say thank you so much for helping me with learning as much as I can about engineering, I love learning new things but I hate some of the drab and dry videos sometimes uploaded, yours is the perfect mix between showing how it works through your voice and through the animations.
63
I typed in “3 phase electricity explained” the first five videos were a math class. This is exactly what I’m looking for. Thank you
63
Fantastic explanation of DC motors, I look forward to seeing more of your content
63
I'm impressed with how you manage to explain all this in just 3 minutes without and stress. Awesome channel!
62
Oho, this is the most simplest to understand explanation of a car electrical system. If it is possible more of those car electrical wiring explation ECU and wiring diagrams? Thank you!
61
Mate such a legend. Your lessons are amazing. Such a good teacher as well. Keep them videos coming please.
60
Don't tell the diodes what's happening!
60
My favorite channel, and this is my favorite series!! You've really helped renew my interest in learning on my freetime. Thanks so much bro :)
60
after watching 18 videos, my first comment : THANK YOU
59
Up until now I was just guessing at what was happening inside a scroll compressor, but now I see. You've created an incredibly effective illustration- thanks so much!
59
I learned a while ago that if you set the pump backwards, you get to do the job all over again.
59
I'm 61 years old and have electrical work since 1978 and have never seen so many ways to use 3 way switch's (USA). Goes to show the old saying "Never to old to learn" holds true... Had to come back and buy you a cup of coffee...Thanks
59
Those circuit-breaker graphs are great! I learned a lot from this.
59
I often find, with your videos, that even if I read a title of your video and it sounds like something I’m already confident that I’m familiar with, I still learn something when I watch it. Thank you for such great information. I’m an electrician of about 10 years.
58
Thank you very much. Your efforts are helping a lot lot of folks world wide. Thank you again from north Africa
57
Could you make a video about how an alternator works? Great video as always very informative
57
You’ve passed this American sparkys test. Great work A+
56
Today I need my notebook and sketchbook to make the circuits. It like going to school online but better explained thanks
56
Paul, you are the best teacher whom I have ever run across when trying to understand the fundamentals of electricity. I have been trying to learn this concept for years, and for years, NO ONE could teach it to me so easily as you just did in this video. PLEASE do not stop teaching people! Your method of teaching has most likely helped hundreds - if not thousands - of people in search of higher learning!
55
So long story short, it's basically a bigger, buffer lemon battery...
55
Great video but at 8:10, total Current of 0.8+0.5=1.3A! Not 1.2! ;-)
54
Working in electrical distribution. Realized a lot of people don’t understand how this stuff works (electrical distributors), and wasn’t satisfied with the explanations I was getting for how electricity worked. Started watching your videos and the stronger understanding you have given me got me promoted to industrial electrical sales. Best electrical channel on YouTube hands down.
53
Wish in schools they have thought me in this manner,it's so knowledgeable vedio thanks allot great work
53
The magnetism of your videos pulls me in every time.
