One thing that I feel is missing and would strengthen the channel would be use of dates or timelines to keep track of important relevant historical dates, times, etc. At times you do give some dates but I enjoy being able to follow along with the specific dates and then do my own analysis to see what was happening in regions around your topics for greater context. It’s impossible to get all the info into your 20 min videos and I like to use your research as a starting point. Thanks for your great content and PLEASE! Release more “How the U.S. stole the Middle East” videos. I think with Afghanistan this would be a very interesting video. Take care!

  15. Thank you so much for speaking about this. I've also stepped away from mormonism. I was also born into it but luckily i asked God if this whole thing was right & got my answer. I asked myself this question before signing my mission papers so luckily i never went on my mission. I was always made to feel dirty & evil for doing normal teenager things. The weirdness behind confessing sins to your bishop & feeling that judgment from a stranger. Luckily i had a lot of family members step down over the years so i didn't feel so alone in my path. You're right how this is not an overnight decision, we've been conditioned to believe a certain way and it's so hard to deprogram from that. I still follow a lot of the core principles or rules of the church such as no swearing, no porn, being kind & companionate and understanding of other humans. I only drank alcohol for a couple years after leaving the church then went on a whole psychedelic journey but i've now quit all of that and gone back to being sober The church taught me to work hard and study harder. I now think for myself instead of interpreting an ancient book. Anyway, i'm here if any other mormons are struggling right now because it's been 10 years since i left and it still haunts me.

  28. This reminds me of my belated grandmother who lived till 96 and passed away years ago in Busan, where she fled to during the Korean war from Pyongyang. She always told me about her fleeing story and how she lost most of her family members in NKorea for owning lands, not to mention our family tree document also has burned to ash during the war in which leads to me not knowing who my ancestors are and all. I miss her so much and still have so much respect for literally feeding her 5kids alone till they all become successful.

To contrast all the doom and gloom, Professor Hany Farid (UC Berkley) mentioned that the advancement of deepfakes is getting better, but so too is the technology used to detect it. But it is a shame something so impactful is being used for such nefarious purposes.

  37. I am an Iraqi, I know people from both countries and have been to both countries. This conflict hits close to home. The situation in Ukraine and Russia is tragic in every aspects. I do not wish and do not want war upon anyone or any country even the countries who did mine dirty. I can definitely relate to Ukrainians, I know what it's like to lose loved ones and your home because of a war that you simply sincerely wish never happened. However, I can also relate to Russia and the Russians too, Because when our innocent civilians were accused of wars they were completely against and didn’t even start to begin with. Plus the strict sanctions imposed against us, Which caused a horrible humanitarian crisis and a currency collapse and not last but not least, A nation suffering from extreme corruption and neighboring countries are so close, But yet feel so far away… Stay strong to both nations, best blessings and best wishes to you all that I know. what it's like to be in both end of the stick and situations and you absolutely wish they never happened. Both countries are suffering, I hope, by the will of God, This will be resolved as soon as possible. Despite all the unfortunate disasters that have occurred over which we also have absolutely no control over. We should always at least try to spread and preach peace among each other and stay strong. Hatred and vindictiveness when accusing the people of an entire nation that the actions of their politicians do not solve anything, Except cause new conflicts and even more unwanted fuel to the fire. I love and respect all countries and their people and hope a well being for all humanity peace from Iraq
