  1. What happens to a capacitor if you make them as the newer "Tabless" Tesla batteries and increase the surface area of the tabs, by making one continuous roll of point contact, taking precaution to not short it out? Is that even possible? It may be a stupid question...

  10. Interesting that the polymer caps shown here are for through-hole mounting, the only ones I've seen in that style of can were for surface-mount, and through-hole caps are purportedly being phased out, making life difficult for people like myself, repairing and restoring older equipment.

  17. very good for actually seeing inside a solid capacitor, also find out what happens to lithium ion battries in the cold does it's chemistry also gets frozen, why does the phone charge holding capacity drop in winters.
