  14. Shocking to learn about the police presence on ground at this peaceful event full of empathy,- even with the presence of renowned musicians and an UN representative! The fact that the police and their translator were even present at a lecture by Francesca Albanese from the UN at "a day of lectures" regarding the palestinian cause with lectures, classical music, documentaries and litterature readings seems based upon a false presumtion that there will be statements made of hatred...! The same false narrative is used to impose new rules on pro-equal-rights-for-palestinians protests, where only signs and chants in german and english are allowed!

  22. Even from the beginning, I always felt so frustrated that it seemed SO controversial that what was going in Gaza is a genocide. I had always thought, like... "Yeah, I don't know, guys...it sure sounds an awful lot like the other genocides I've heard about." And then they tell you you're antisemitic...I wish the western world would acknowledge that you can be opposed to Zionism and the apartheid in Gaza but still TOTALLY support Jewish culture and religion. Francesca has been an inspiration to me ever since I first saw her talking with Yanis Varoufakis. Thank you so much!

  48. As an expat I must applaud this lady. Sadly, the country is run by the older generation that does not give a toss about human rights - and there are not enough young people in the country that would be carriers of hope for international justice. There is no difference in this regard between the traditional Left or Right. Germany is now in an intellectual death spiral. All main parties are on their way down, there is very little hope. Europe funds currently (through Horizon) tje Israeli industry for the development of autonomous drone swarms. They are currently being used to optimize automated killings in the occupied territories. Anyone on the internet can look this up (on the Horizon website of the EU). I suspect the EU wants to have Israel on its side for future warfare against BRICS countries.
