  9. Oh man good throwback trial. This was on of my faves. The female prosecutor was amazing, and I’m so glad there was justice for that sweet baby boy!!

  10. I was hoping for a hung jury rather than a not guilty. A hung jury means that a retrial can occur. I agree that this case was brought to trial too soon and that mistakes were made in the investigation and that the defense attorney was excellent. There was reasonable doubt but that doesn’t mean the defendant was innocent of the crime. I hope this case is solved.

  13. There’s no reasonable logic under which the defendant is SURE someone is breaking in vs someone is coming to knock on the door. You don’t get to shoot every human who approaches who isn’t in ups attire. But we all know it’s not about what he was wearing, but the color of his skin.

  42. I understand with so many phone calls coming into the police station, but not taking his phone call or returning his calls were so strange. I say strange, because the police refused to hand over anything that would also rule out or actually find this person by testing any of the evidence for DNA. DNA may not have had its' full development at this time, but even later through the years, the police still refused to hand over evidence to be tested. I believe the police were so set at pointing the finger at the parents, they were not interested in any other leads. I feel this police department should be investigated and charged for withholding evidence. Something fishy about this entire police department and this case. It is also strange the money amount ask for in the ramson note was the exact amount the father had gotten for a bonus. Had this guy been in the house before this happened?
