  22. Very cool to learn that slide rules rely on logarithms, I didn't realize that. I knew about log tables but I didn't realize that the slide rule itself was an embodiment of this "easier calculation" quality of logarithms. :)

  48. Somewhat sad that these figures have previously been calculated. Would have like to take a stab at computing them by hand. That being said, I appreciate the monumental efforts of past generations to accelerate our calculations. Leading us to future questions and constructs.
