  1. There are quite a few different variants of the T72. The Russians have upgraded many, culminating in the T72B3. The circular autoloader under the turret certainly makes it compact and lighter compared to it's western counterparts. The main disadvantage is that the detonation of ammunition can be catastrophic, throwing the turret into the air. The T90M remedies this by removing the spare ammo from inside the turret to a sealed bustle on the rear, and adding armor to the autoloader magazine itself. The same could be done to the T72 if they had the time and resources. In fact Iran did this very thing and fitted a T90M like turret to a T72 chassis.

  14. Well, does Europe, France or the U.S. deserve to be leaders of the global south in any way? I think the question answer itself. Just look at the history of what the west has been up to, just since the end of the world war, leaving the colonial period out of it for argument's sake. The history of US intervention in the global south is long and horrible, no wonder many people don't look to them for anything. The Soviets were up to the same game too to an extent, don't get me wrong, but that entity no longer exist, not even ideologically, it's not the same as Russia today.

War isn't for old people they can't fight against young in long terms. 50 year old would have advantage in the start because of experience but after two years that 20 year old would be 22 while the other guy 52 and guess who will have advantage, huge advantage
