  2. i was surprised that black teeth was a desired thing (did it extend to men too since one would imagine they'd want to look like the ruler) because i knew blackened teeth was a thing in old japan, but i didn't imagine it would pop up across the world in england 🙂now i'm wondering if it was a whole european thing since being rich and access to sugar would have been widespread. if so then maybe that would be a reason for it to naturally become a thing...if people noticed the highest classes had the darkest teeth...

  21.  @historyonfleek6214  a really interesting story is on the Batavia wreck found just off the coast of my home state Western Australia. Part of the wreck is now homed in the Fremantle maritime museum. Faciniting story! The book “island of angry ghosts” is half historic journal half modern recovery from the wreck near the Abrolhos islands! Truely a facinting subject for your awesome vids ! What a violent and scary history !
