I was in Blackburn today and (out of curiosity) had a drive around the areas depicted here - I'd be interested to know from the other people commenting who was actually there or who is making an opinion based on one short video. For those that are unfamiliar with the town; the main building shown is the town hall and it is very close to an area of the town (Whalley Range / Bastwell) that has been a predominantly Asian community for decades. I'm not Asian or Muslim but felt perfectly safe in this environment, the crowd were noisy at times but I never saw any violence or aggression. There was a heavy police presence that seemed to be simply making it clear they were there if needed without antagonising or becoming involved unnecessarily - personally I'm not a huge fan of the police but I have to say they got the balance right on this occasion. This town has (generally) enjoyed good race relations and integration - it is unfortunate that a lot of the media is trying to undermine that - turn off your TV, step outside and go meet people for yourself, you might be pleasantly surprised.

  48. I was expose to heavy sunlight at the beach recently. The following day or two I woke up with three small clear fluid filled bumps on the left side of my top lip. They got bigger after a couple of days but wasn’t hurting, reddish or itchy. The fourth day I put a tac to it to drain the fluids. I still had know issue with it but of course, now I have a black scab on my lip. It still doesn’t hurt of anything. I don’t know if it’s herpes or from getting bit by something. What you think?
