  3. Jeff - I think - This was/is a badass video. I'm just a simpleton armchair economist in nature, and I've been befuddled by a lot of your videos before, but this one was, for me, a hole filler. I was able to comprehend your data charts better and the substance of your pitch better than before. I think your study opens up a wonderful, and frightening, universe of mankind's econometric formation. For this video I would compliment your use of the word "haircut". So much of the public discussion of finance excludes the profit motive surrounding economy. The closer you get to politics the more the "haircut" becomes obscure. For me a wonderful video. I am going to see if I wish to become a member now. Thank you for this discussion.

  36. Jeff, the moves in crude oil are not being mirrored by the oil stocks. Insiders in oil/gas producers are selling at a very high rate. Commercial traders in the futures market have increased their net short position. If you look at ETF's such has XLE, you will see no confirmation of the moves in crude oil. This is a bearish divergence and agrees with your thesis on where oil prices are headed.

  40. I've said for 15 yeas that all QE did was mask underlying problems and give a false sense of recovery. Despite our elected baphoons and their appointees doing their level best to kick the can down the road eventually you have to pay for your sins. And NOW you have a government that cannot service its debt and still spends like drunken sailors. Its time to radically cut spending, pay down the debt and take our medicine. Politicians won't do this on their own. The electorate MUST wake up....Don't hold your breath!
