There are some hermits in Qingcheng Mountain. They stay away from the crowds and avoid the tourist routes. They live in another mountain nearby, which is very quiet and airy and has a wide view. They will practice self-cultivation, but also accept students, and teach students some ancient knowledge that science can not explain and profound, including breathing methods and martial arts, but in fact, those are just to maintain health and longevity, the real traditional knowledge includes alchemy, incantation, ancient mathematics, ancient astronomy, divination, traditional Chinese medicine, music, art, calligraphy, and some other ways“道” to communicate with the "天".It is said that at some point they finally achieve an Epiphany and after several "劫" they will step on the clouds and become "神仙".

This reflection on China is profound, resonating with the idea that the culture and pace of the country offer an authentic experience, very different from the global hustle. The comparison to the beginning of a new era highlights the importance of connecting with places where time seems to flow differently, more calmly, providing a unique perspective.
The tip of not following the crowd and visiting during working hours, avoiding breaks, is a great strategy for experiencing China in a more genuine and less touristy way.
The inclusion of the thought that happiness is something you fight for every day, like a Taoist practice, perfectly complements this vision. It’s a reminder that peace and joy aren’t found by chance but cultivated daily, often through a silent but steady effort, as Taoism suggests—without struggle, without pain, but with perseverance.
This perspective is inspiring and can turn a trip to China into an introspective journey, as well as a cultural one.

The back mountain of Qingcheng Mountain actually should be more in line with your imagination of Qingcheng Mountain. There is a relatively primitive hiking route with more natural landscapes, plank roads, streams and original vegetation, but there are few Taoist temples. The back mountain of Qingcheng was where Taoists lived and practiced before, while the front mountain is more about accepting mundane matters. Then, I don't know if you have visited the neighboring city at the foot of Qingcheng Mountain. This city is called Dujiangyan, named directly after the 2,000-year-old water conservancy project in this city. Moreover, this water conservancy project is still in normal use and affects the domestic water supply and planting throughout Chengdu. This project is the oldest, wisest and most complete ancient human project I have ever seen, which is fully in line with the spirit of Taoism. It does not require excessive human intervention. Letting nature take its course can prevent floods and droughts in the Chengdu Plain.

Born and raised in HK. After living abroad (Europe, North America, Asia, Mainland China …) for almost 30 years, finally moved back about 2 years ago. I feel so privileged to be able to call this beautiful city “home” again. There’s no perfect country in the world, you just have to find a place where it suits your personal lifestyle. And to me, HK is one of the most vibrant, diversified, efficient, compact and organised cities in the world. Most importantly it is a very safe place and it allows me to walk around everywhere at anytime of the day with ease. ❤
Yes, please do come back. You need to explore some of the outlying islands and our countryside. We have plenty of well-maintained world class hiking trails which are definitely worthwhile visiting. Wishing you well and travel safe … Thank you so much for visiting our beautiful city! ❤

In tourist attractions, you can only see ancient buildings. The real hermits are on the nearby mountains, but the roads are difficult to walk on. You will find that the hermits live very simply, with a thatched house and simple daily necessities... But without exception, their bodies are very healthy, of course not muscles, but they look very energetic. They are almost omnipotent and can answer all your questions.
Their appearance characteristics are that they never cut their hair and beards, and wear long robes. If you don't take the initiative to talk to them, they will ignore you, because they need more time to learn, think, go to the mountains to collect Chinese herbs, and integrate into nature...
I was lucky to stay with them in the mountains for a week. I found that they are really omnipotent. They are very, very comfortable. What they repeat every day: grow their own food, treat their own diseases, meditate, and look up at the stars at night

Hi Gabri, every time I see India I start crying, that's such a magic and beautiful country with beautiful people, I understand why you come back. I really feel you when you talk about depression, bad thoughts, but just remind, you are important for some people out there ok? You helped them to find their way and I am sure you still will do it with your videos. I've been following you since you had the first channel gabriway. You helped me so much with your videos, your words and your advices about many different things. I was sad that you left youtube but then I found you here again and that made me happy.
I really hope to see you one day traveling, my next step in Thailand or India again, I would really like to talk together. You are never alone brother.
Abbi cura di te, un abbraccio forte!

Hi Gabi, those who have/or do suffer with anxiety & depression will understand exactly what you're saying & what you experience.
For those who haven't, will find it very difficult to understand as it takes being there, to understand.
What I will say to those that haven't, you're extremely fortunate. Sufferingin mid-extreme with anxiety, depression or both is very debilitating indeed.
It's not something that one can just snap out of (like many think) but it's an illness that requires time & understanding.
They may have zero or very little motivation, no desires, no nothing.
Please, if anyone thinks someone they know maybe suffering in this way, reach out to them, be there for them, support them in any way you can...but please be patient with them, they in most cases will not see the positives in the world that you see & know. Again this is part of the illness.
They'll in most cases only see negatives, again it's the illness. They require time & support, without judgement from others.
Go careful with them & you'll play a huge part in turning their life around in getting them back to see things positively again.
All the very best to all.

Things I recommend tourists do in HK: 1) the West Kowloon Cultural District, one of the biggest arts districts in the world, has great views of the skyline, parks, cafes, restaurants, world-class museums, etc. 2) one of HK's beautiful beaches such as Repulse Bay, Shek O, Clear Water Bay, Lido Beach, or, to feel like you're in Thailand, Long Ke Wan Beach which is in one of HK's amazing country parks 3) mall culture is a big deal in HK, so check out one of the beautiful malls such as K11 (near the Bruce Lee statue), Elements (next to the tallest building in HK), Pacific Place (next to the beautiful HK Park), etc. 4) Hong Kong Park: beatuiful park with beautiful ponds, birds, exotic plants, etc. 5) Disneyland and/or Ocean Park 6) Get out of the city and hike through one of the country parks (there are both easy and difficult trails) and if you don't like hiking then check out something like the Bowen Road Fitness Trail (it's flat, lush, with great view of the city) or Black's Link (which passes by some of the most expensive houses in HK), 5) check out one of the outlying islands to feel like you're in a different world: Lamma Island, Lantau island, or if you don't mind a little hike, Sharp Island (among many, many others), 7) the cable cars to the Big Buddha statue on Lantau Island (touristy but fun), 8) if you have time, a trip to both Macau AND Shenzhen, two great cities, very different vibes, a stone's throw from HK.

Hi Gabi. My name is Chris from northern Michigan, USA. I started watching your videos while preparing for a trip to Thailand last January. All of your information about the Thailand Pass, vaccination requirements, and everything else was very helpful. At that time, I met my girlfriend who lives in Chiang Mai in Bangkok and we traveled to Phi Phi, Phuket, and back to Chiang Mai. I fell in love with Chiang Mai while I was there. I am set to return this coming January for 6 weeks. We will go to Koh Samui for a few days, but mostly in Chiang Mai. At the end, we'll do a road trip around the north (Pai, Chiang Rai, etc.). Thanks for recommending a barber in CM. I've been a subscriber since then and really like your travel videos. You've got a great attitude! Even when you lost your brand new drone, you still kept your sense of humor and didn't give up. I look forward to your future videos! Thanks!

Glad to hear you mention the cleanliness in Kerala.
As a Keralite, here’s some interesting information that might be new to even Indians from other states. Ever since the 60’s and 70’s when the educational, healthcare, land and other reforms took place on a large scale and primary education & healthcare were made free, the people here have become more aware of basic hygiene practices on a total level, and have incorporated them in their daily practices ever since.
There have been articles in the 90’s in Western publications such as the BBC about the high standards of hygiene, health etc in spite of being among the poorer states by average per capita income. Having grown up here in the 90’s as a kid, I can attest to this personally.
Through this comment I just want to convey that cleanliness comes from within each of us, and not from the government/ authorities. I sincerely hope that all of India becomes a cleaner place to live in, and that it gets fostered through primary education, healthcare and a will of the common people.

Glad to see you back in India. You know, your visit to Pushkar last year created something wonderful for me, namely you clued me in to the Fior di Loto Foundation there. I sponsored a little girl to attend school, and at the end of the school year a few months ago, as promised, I received an updated photo, a copy of the girl's report card, and a little drawing she made for me (she's about 5, I think). I can't tell you how touched I was to receive a personal letter, covered with Indian postage stamps, here in California. I am sponsoring her again this year. Thank you so much for pointing me (and maybe others) to this organization!

So, so beautiful documentary! But you are right. It's disheartening to see sacred places, rich with history and spiritual significance, treated merely as tourist attractions. When visitors approach these spaces with a mindset of amusement rather than reverence, they overlook the deep cultural and spiritual meaning they hold. These sites deserve more than just fleeting attention; they call for respect and understanding, honoring the traditions and stories that have shaped them. I felt exactly like you when I visited Mount Putuo, a place I had dreamed of for years. It was meant to be a deeply spiritual experience, a chance to connect with the sacred energy of Bodhisattva Guanyin. Instead, I was met with the disappointing reality of crowds treating this revered site like a mere backdrop for selfies, filled with noise and distraction. It was disheartening to see so few people showing the respect and devotion that such a sacred place deserves, turning what should have been a moment of reflection and reverence into a spectacle of casual disregard.

Hi Gabi and Ploy and thanks for the video! I spent 1,3 years in Cambodia during the covid outbreak, very cheap and traditional country with friendly people.
For phnom penh: just be careful to not having your phone in your hand while walking or even sitting in the tuk tuk, so many thefts during night, specially in the streets close to the river, the classic silent motorbike aproaching from behinde and the phone is gone in seconds..
If you have time i recommend you to visit Kampot in the south where you can find a lot of things to do, like Bokor mountian ( perfect with a motorbike ride) waterfalls, salt/peppar farms, mangrove forest, caves, old tempels and the small town Kep ( 25 minutes away) where you can swim, Kampot is on a river with amazing sceneries. And Offcorse Siem reap for angkor wat area.
When it comes to Islands it can´t beat Thailand but Ko rong samloem and ko Rong (sandflies and baby piranha here!) is really magical and wild, a bit more pricy than the mainland. Don´t miss the glowing planktons at night!
The old backpacker destination Sihanoukville is now filled with skyskrapers and customized for rich chinese tourist with casinos everywhere, the beaches west of the pir is nice thoug.
Mondulkiri is a much cooler and smaller town famous for its hills with coffe plantations, elephant sanctuary and bousra waterfall.
Ratanakiri further up have waterfalls and lots of jungle. Actually phnom penh is not the nicest place in Cambodia and more expensive than other citys but you always endup here if you take the buses to different destinations...Hope you guys enjoy!

1. Funny to read, many tourists don't know about this area. But they have met the people who lives there plenty of times, as many of them are the same people, selling "delicious streetfood" in other areas of Bangkok including Sukhumvit.
2. I fear an "accidental fire" will happen there soon, same as it happened in slums of Manila little over a month ago. Many parties have expressed interest in building properties there, but it's impossible as long the slum exists.
3. A lot of smiles there, which is of course wonderful and admirable, as they very much live in the moment - they simply exist. Unfortunately this "live in the moment" mentality that keeps them up today, is also what keeps Thailand stagnant.
4. Last, but not least, thank you for an interesting and well made video. 🙏

Thank you, Gabi, for highlighting Bangladesh's struggle for freedom, rights, and democracy. These students and later the whole citizens shed a lot of blood in this quota movement. The previous government, Bangladesh Awami League, is a fascist party and their leader Sheikh Hasina is an Autocrat, who tortured the citizens of Bangladesh a lot. Bangladesh was literally North Korea with just internet, but we couldn't talk which slightly opposes the Awami League, or we would be either killed, forced disappeared, jailed, or send in their torture house 'Ayna Ghor', translation: House of Illusion/Mirror. Even now the fascist party is destabilizing Bangladesh, spreading misinformation, and conspiring against Bangladeshi people so that they can come back and loot more tens of billions of dollars from our taxes and reserves.

Chengdu is my hometown, and I haven't been back in many years. Like you, I also have people anxiety, so I completely resonate with the emotional part you felt at the end of the video.
I fully agree with what you mentioned about respecting traditional and religious sites —— and I believe the mountain also listens, feels, and gives. What you here for, what you want from this, were all gently fulfilled in a coincidence way.
Just as Laozi said, "祸兮福所倚,福兮祸所伏" If you hadn't persisted in finding Qingcheng Mountain, or if you had arrived on time and caught the tourist rush, or if you hadn't chosen to walk down the mountain, you wouldn't have had that rare moment of peace, spirituality, and personal connection within the experience.
I’m glad you enjoyed the trip:)

There are places, around the world, where people are living in terrible situations, I have seen favelas in Sao Paolo, the slums in Brazil, places where millions of people live, yet, smiles on their faces are not uncommon, and that it makes you wonder and realize, how lucky we are, and we should be grateful everyday of what we have and that we are in good health.

Hey, if you're looking for amazing landscapes, waterfalls, high-altitude lakes, and natural wonders in India, consider visiting Ladakh, Zanskar, Spiti Valley, Sonamarg, and Pahalgam-Aru Valley. You can also explore Sikkim, Meghalaya, and Kerala for incredible experiences.
And if you're after stunning white sandy beaches with crystal-clear blue waters, you should definitely check out Lakshadweep Islands and Andaman and Nicobar Islands. They offer some of the best beach experiences in India, far surpassing the overrated Goa.

For me the best beaches are in Andaman & Nicobar Islands, and Laxadweep islands of India. Tarqez water , white beach , blue sky , coral reefs just wow heaven. I'm not saying that Goa , Kerala and coastal India or Digha , Manarmani and Puri beaches are bad but not the best . For me cause lots of people, chaos , pollution, not that clean water beach and water, but i like Digha it has theme 2 parks and Science city, and markets but still not my favourite, my love for those two islands. 😅

Wasn't planning on commenting but can't help it after hearing a bit of your personal story. And I was wondering why I decided to subscribe to your channel, it's the tours and information you share of course, but it's also your vibe...and voila, now I know. Been on a similar path myself, and likewise, "dropped" everything, though of course, we never "dropped" anything, the spirituality within each of us that some of us have deliberately searched out and tried to catch a glimpse of is already within us no matter what. It shows in your character when you say things like, "That's the way it is, so let it be". You probably make good friends with another YouTuber, Mickey Stotch. You have not stopped "coaching," just using different and more subtle approaches. Thanks for sharing your story!

I went on an adventure through that area 30 years ago now. Varkala up the top of the hill to the north had great bars and restaurants, pretty much made out of rough timber, some tarpaulin, and coconut fronds on the roofs. What’s there now is very much “improved”, maybe lost some of the romance of what it was like. That lady paying $950USD a month for rent there is a shock- that makes it very hard for her to make money. I remember my budget was about $5 a day back then. I did all the backwaters- in public transport boats and a tourist boat, spent a little time in Trivandrum, and then we went on the mother of all train trips from Trivandrum to Agra over 54 hours, by aircon sleeper for $50. Incredibly cheap. My neighbours in the compartment were a doctor, a rocket scientist and an engineer. Amazing people. The divide between middle class people (and higher caste according to Hindu society) and “untouchables” was vast, quite an experience to get used to coming from Australia where people are fairly well off, and fairly egalitarian.

Gabi, that was a very touching sentiment you showed on having lived through difficulty periods the last few years, sharing your grandfather's birthday celebration, enjoying the ride in VN (so far) as it's your dream that you think you will look back fondly in the future. I cannot speak to your personal situation but I can tell you this. I grew up in the States, had no idea about riding scooters in VN before I moved to VN, but after having spent 10 years working and living in VN, and rode scooter all those 10 years, I miss those days so much the last 8 years of being back in the States. I miss having my girlfriend snuggle close behind me and talking and laughing in my ear, or even having friends that we'd talk as on our ride, of seeing fellow scooter riders with their family, of seeing children looking up to ask their parents about what they just saw, of being part of a community instead of being isolated in a car, of being able to see and smell something delicious and can stop on a sidewalk to try it, and most of all, the feeling of "freedom". It's just so different/unique, and I didn't even get to do the fun Dalat ride, or the peaceful Phong Nha ride, or the spectacular Ha Giang Loop ride.
I hope you have a safe and enjoyable ride in VN and as I know we had talked about this before but it's worth repeating, stay the hell away from the trucks and buses on the road. Deadly accidents happen around those things. Take care.

Very nice to see an Italian like me, doing great things. I write in English language, so then everyone can understand. I admire your videos, together with the high quality to watch, and to hear from your details, and admiring your great heart, toward people as you're always polite and respectful, a rare thing to see these days. I do not share your eating taste, as I am vegan since over 14 years, and also I don't really like the music that you pick, but besides that, I enjoy following you and your rides. Un Caro Saluto 🙋♂

You changed Salim's life! I am sure things will get better for him. I bet he didn't wake up thinking that he will meet a kind Italian YTer, and his life would change. Like Gabi said, he could learn a skill from YT or something and it will improve his life and chances of getting a job.
A lot of Kenyans are good kind friendly people. That is why Kenya is so special!
Kenya has a lot to offer with the many Game Reserves, the beautiful Lodges - one Lodge is built like a Massai Manyatta, you have the forests with Tree Tops hotel built in the trees, green highlands around Nairobi, to the Savanna's of Tsvo, to the beautiful white sandy beaches of the Swahili people and all the history of Fort Jesus.
And don't forget snow capped Mt Kenya on the equator, or views of Mt Kilimanjaro from Amboseli National Park.
The food is a mix of Indian, Arab, African, European etc.
But it will always be its kind, friendly people that is Kenya's greatest asset!

I LOVE Puducherry!!! 💕 Your videos are lovely. Last year I went to Puducherry and Auroville as well. Puducherry is very beautiful, clean, tranquil. Excellent to chill and have a nice time. Sri Aurobindo's ashram is a must visit, that place is so peaceful. Also, near the Ashram there is the Vinayak temple, a temple of Shri Ganesh. And that temple is so beautiful, exquisite paintings and so peaceful. Another must visit.
Auroville is a whole other experience. I loved it, but as you say, it takes time to understand how it works. The Matri Mandir blew my mind 🤯. It is something like no other in the world. The level of sophistication that went into the building of the Matri Mandir is outstanding. Honestly, I have never felt anything like what I experienced there. Maybe, in a few years, I will come back to Auroville and stay for a few weeks.

I was visiting Cambodia this year after I had to cut my previous visit a few years back short due to a family emergency and FINALLY got my luxury lobster dinner inside my VERY luxurious hotel suite for only 120$ TOTAL, for everything! As I was sitting there by myself eating my delicious dinner and being taken care of by a highly professional staff who eerily acted as though they have not had a Western visitor in decades, they threw me a curveball from hell. They asked me if I wanted 'entertainment' and I foolishly believed they were going to bring out a band or something, they did not. Instead, they brought out 10 very young girls who ranged from 8-13 years of age and I was shocked at what I was witnessing. These young girls lined up and were waiting for me to look at each one of them and choose. I was beyond upset and wanted nothing to do with this, until one of the youngest told me they would be punished if none of them were chosen and only did so once the 'head honcho' left the room for a minute. It was as if this was normal and I'm sure they only did this once they knew I was from America! This is what people think of us! This is how disgusting and backwards our society is in America, that GROWN MEN take 'vacations' by themselves to poverty stricken countries to engage in 'activities' with CHILDREN! Not to mention, after I got home I found out this is NORMAL for Americans to do so and is expected of them when visiting! Anyways, I chose the youngest who was 8 and the oldest who was 13 and spent the next 2 days/nights with them! I bought them the largest suite another hotel had and set them up nicely! Yes, I had my own room and no I did not visit theirs. They were very confused about this! Until the next day! I took them shopping, we went to Chroy theme park one day and to garden city water park the next. If you are wondering, YES I spoke to the parents and NO they did not care. They wanted more money to take them out... Again disgusting. These kids had a BLAST and did not know what it was like to be treated like children and taken care of, especially by a MAN and or a foreigner. It was heartbreaking and I felt terrible when I had to take them home and even worse knowing that they would go back to being sold to the highest bidder.. They were beautiful, smart and way too knowledgeable about how the world works and I wish there was something I could do other than giving them a few days to tease them of what others enjoy and take for granted on the DAILY in America.
Sorry for my rant, but this has been bothering me for awhile and being single with no family at age 30 with nobody to vent to is pretty hard sometimes! I've always wanted kids and enjoying the few days I had with these angels only reinforced my desire to have my own. I hope, if any of you visit Cambodia or the countries surrounding it, you keep a open mind of what is really going on and try to be the solution, rather than adding to the problem! It is a VERY beautiful country, but people are willing to do ANYTHING to survive or to get a few extra dollars for themselves. Do not let this deter you from visiting! There is A LOT of good people that call it home and are trying their best to crack down on foreigners who are looking for such disgusting things!

Freaking awesome, such a picturesque view. 50 rupees, that's a deal! Keep trying as many items as possible. Also, they have an egg puff, (it's a spiced triangle-shaped pastry with a hardboiled egg in it). Hoping you can get parts, (I'm sure you can find it in India somewhere). Ask around, hope they can help. You are in Kerala, which is the heart of the spice trade route. There is sooooo much ancient history over there. **Maybe get an extra propeller when doing the repair, just in case.
In Kerala you must do:

Hi Gabi. Here am I again "travelling" with you. I love it. ❤ In relation to depression and anxiety I do undesrtand what you are talking about. I have been there. I went through many things in my life when I was teenager I lost my parents (5 years apart to each other). Both had health issues. Stroke and cancer respctivelly and my siblings and I were their caregivers. Then my fiancé just decided to vanish by the time I need him the most. At that time there was lack of money also, even for food. That time I lost hope in everything. I even wonder where was God? Who allowed all those things to happen to me. Life was meaningless to me. But as you said in your statement at the end of the video (which reasonates very much to my personal experience) we did found our way out. I managed to finish my studies at University. I have been working for an Airline Company for many years. Now I am on my early 50th I can say I made my way Thank to God who gave me the strenghts to continue this journey called life. In His strong hands I placed my life everyday choosing to depend on Him to light and guide my way. Back at the time I did therapy / councilling with psychologist and psychiatrist, I was under medicine for depression for many years. Then when I came across with Meditation (transcendental meditation, Vipassana and Raya yoga Meditation) my life starts to change for better. I view life from differents perspectives / angles /lenses you undesrtand? I just can tell you one thing - "MediTation became my mediCation". I stoped taking medicines for depression many years ago. Now I am a very cheerfull person who is in love of her life every minute of it. I make the most of my life. Eventhough I neither have children nor husband. I love my life and freedom. There is a book entitled "Mindfulness" I recommend you to read. It is used in the UK by the National Health Service to help people with mental health. It is useful I ensure you. Your videos entertain me. They are also very informative and suggestive since I also love travelling. I am very passionated of going around the world get in touch with new people with different cultures, gastronomy etc.....for me "To travel is to live" . Since you are there in Goa. do visit Zeebop By The Sea Restaurant in Utorda beach at South Goa. There you can eat delicious sea food. I did spend a day there with my friends, we had lunch there in November 2015. That time the owner was Mr. Sergio Dias I don't know if he is still there. Do check on youtube or google it, you will find information about the place. So, I will stop here. I am glad to know you are doing well to overcome your mental health issues. You are a smart, young and handsome guy. So, don't allow anything to deter you from enjoying this wondefull journey called life. Sorry to text you this big "letter". I just went on writting and realized I wrote to much. 😅Anyway, stay safe and take care. We are here to support you. ❤

Great to see you travelling again Gabi, your words about mental health resonated with me strongly especially as I'm heading to Goa in a few weeks and yes, India is a big anti-depressant for the reasons you mention. I was in Gokarna in January 1990 when there were maybe a dozen westerners there in total, it has a strong energy which wasn't always wholesome. The local Shiva temple priests invited me for a chillum session and of course some paranoia crept in as the guys had an energy I could feel wasn't good. Mercifully I kept it together until we ran out of smoking material. I got back to my rented room, bolted the door, then the evening's 'fun' hit me and the room turned helicopter until I finally fell asleep from exhaustion. The next morning it was super sunny, a cow had fallen from the raised path right under my window and happy joyful crazy India returned! Your points about connecting with ease with Indians is so important, I just had a thought that it might be good for you to stay longer in India just in one place instead of constantly moving. Maybe you might find a 10 day Vipassana retreat useful too and maybe some chill downtime doing something creative. I'm hoping to do a bit of voluntary work at an animal shelter in or around Arambol, some gym time and also get my body up to speed with yoga that I've neglected a bit. The yoga and my past meditation practice have helped somewhat at least by keeping me away from medication which for me is the devil's work so to speak. I saw in a recent video of yours that the Trance dance place had closed which is a shame, dancing is such a good way to ground yourself. Parties in Goa are not what they used to be but maybe you can still find some that are not the traditional night journeys until sunrise but some cool substance free daytime stuff. Do you have any artistic inclinations? Have you ever painted anything? Done drawings? You'd be surprised what sits deep within us in creative energy.. There are several Art supplies shops in Panjim and probably some workshops in Goa too. Anyway, hope I gave you some good ideas. Btw, that walk you took in Gokarna to the viewpoint was where I met my first cobra in India, sliding down a small tree that I was passing! (The next cobra was in Palolem at the end of the beach, I just found two photos of it the other day!) Careful where you step :face-fuchsia-tongue-out:

Thank you Gabi for bravely sharing your trials, sharing is part of seeing and healing. Having been through a similar trials after a lot of searching and often painful introspection, and some gifted insights from some who's life's passion and purpose to understand their conflicts, overcome them and help others to do likewise, I was able to see and understand what kept me stuck into that rut, and it was not nearly as serious as my fears and anxiety kept me from seeing. It's been about 20 years on now, and I've spent much of that time doing and sharing what I can to help other find hope and insights, and what you relate Gabi resonates deeply with my experience, and if some of what I discovered might be of interest to you or others, I would be happy to chat.
Keep searching, looking and hoping my friend, you have many friends and reasons to search, hope and overcome.

Travel second class, cheaper, more people to tell you things, you'll be awake more and not miss your destination. Be safe.
Seems like you were hungry for almost an entire day. Going hungry on a train journey is terrible. First thing, go to a vessels store and get a plastic dabba or bento box. Then go to a food shop and get Parle G glucose biscuits, the five rupees packs. You see people eating it in YouTube reaction videos. These are for emergencies, goes good with tea, good for sharing with people and animals alike. Then you have the Britannia Good Day cookies, and Britannia mini cakes. Pack up. If you see a store that sells South Indian snacks, get stuff like chakli(murku), kodubale, they have long shelf life, good munchies for train rides. Then get chiki, peanut brittle.
Keep dry rations handy. It's cold right now up north, you got to be well fed. Bananas too, a couple.

Gabi, you are absolutely correct..One can find lots of videos of people from the West that have packed up and moved to SE Asia. One of the biggest factors is the sky-high cost of living in the West. Currently it is mostly retirees but they do have the digital normads who are working remotely too. Another factor is crime. Crime has increased a lot in America as many people are finding themselves falling through the cracks and are ending up homeless because of the high cost of housing. One is very isolated in the West, many old people who live alone, die at home and are never discovered for weeks. In Asia older people are treated with more respect and there is always a neighbors to turn to. One can hire help in the house for very cheap. The cost of health care in the US is through the roof and if you have to go into a facility that will look after you if you can't do for yourself, the government will take everything you own. Because the cost to maintain someone is very high. In the US one needs to be able to have at least $9k per month for a good nursing facility! That is an outrageous amount of money. In the US we have so many police everywhere, that if you make a small traffic mistake there is always a cop ready to give you an expensive ticket. We have no freedom. In the US also, every town with a population of 100k and up, will have the first five minutes of the local evening news full of shootings and violence. Drugs keep flowing into the US in spite of all the law enforcement everywhere??? California has turned into a cesspool with millions of homeless people everywhere most are hooked on drugs, very depressing. All in all, the West has no quality of life unless you have a ton of money.
Also most of the friendships in the US tend to be superficial. And finally politics in the US is bad, bad, bad...dividing the people..Sorry for the long essay. 😂 😂

I weep seeing the video, when will my India have the sense of aesthetics like Thai or Japanese people, the Thai locals too seem to be well behaved dignified, nobody is chasing Gaby or is soliciting, how orderly, symmetric, clean, pleasant and obviously prosperous the town appears, the very nature is complicit in enhancing the appeal of the resort, wistful and wonder if ever our Goan resort ,which only has its colonial Portuguese heritage to flaunt will match Phuket.

Hi Gabi. Thanks for the video. We were in Phuket at the beginning of February, we only stayed for 5 days luckily, it was the last time for us, never again that was how we felt, way too many people everywhere, we are probably too old to be there, then we traveled to the PhiPhi islands, oh my god so overpopulated, after 5 days we went on to KohLanta and there we were for 3 weeks, it was like a dream to live there, now we are in Chiang Mai which suits us perfectly. Take care Gabi Greetings from Lasse&Cina

Any place in India where there is less population density is going to be nice. I don’t like crowds especially the North Indian cities and towns where the humanity is crushing you all around. My favorites have been Himalayan, Southern, North Eastern and Western Coast Indian vistas. All these areas have lower human density and therefore less chaos and more peace and calm. Avoid tourist traps like Delhi, Jaipur, Agra at all costs. There are So many other places in India where you can soak in historical monuments without getting subjected to chaos, ear shattering noise, pollution, aggressive hawkers, touts, scams etc. India must really fix up its big cities and considerably reduce the chaos there, especially older areas and high traffic roads.

Hello from France,👋 I love your video, thanks to you I “travel” in my chair at home not able to travel anymore with back problem , I use to travel and love it, buying a "one way ticket" around the globe but not as courageous as you. Your videos makes me feel good and sometimes tears of joy are coming like today, you are a positive person and humble, respecting others and I love following you...I know that you take pleasure to travel to discover about others and yourself and that’s good and since you are in India, I like what Gandhi says : “The greatest traveler is not the one who has circled the world ten times, but the one who has circled himself only once.😉
……will be nice a video about what is in your backpack like the Huckberry youtube chanel + tips /advise on how you prepare your journey or trip around a country, how you manage to find hotel, place to visit and guide tour…take care

I have been to Thailand in 2012, 2015 and 2017 where I will explain a few:
I love Thailand food namely Kalamae, Tod Man Pla, Tom Yam, Pad Thai, Khao Tom, Som Tam, Khao Pad, Tom Kha Kai, Gai Med Ma Moung, Gae Daeng, Khao Soi, Massaman, Khanom Chin Nam Ya, Guay Teow Rhua and Pad Phuk Tong.
I have visited tourist attractions in Thailand, namely Lumpini, Kho Phi Phi, Phu Thok, Ayutthaya, Khao Yai, Railay, Phuket, Kho Samui, Kho Pha Ngan, Pha Nga Bay, Khao Sok, Wat Mahathat, Phrom Thep, Erawan, Mu Ko Ang Thong, Krabi, Ko Lipe, Karon, Ko Samet, Nang Yuan, Maya Bay and Doi Inthanon.
For me personally, visiting Thailand in total scores 9.0/10 (Grade A+ very wow). Just try asking a Thailand person, is it true that what I have informed you is actually in Thailand? Yes.

Nice video Gabi. As always you make it very informative and enjoyable to watch . I was myself in Dubai in JBR 2 weeks ago . I had the same experiences as you , JBR beach was nice but after a while in the water I really felt the need to escape the heat and get off the beach into the ac . The sun is still strong and hot , and it takes some time to get used too it . Burj khalifa and it’s fountain show made a big impression on me . Normally I travel to Thailand or Spain , so I wanted see Dubai for a change . Dubai is nice , but somehow I felt the atmosphere different , like in Thailand where you can easy find a nice Terras to sit and have a beer for affordable price , and have streets full packed with cozy restoran / bars and terraces. That is something that I kinda missed little bit . It was a little bit hard to find nice cozy restoran . Some restoran at skytop roofs and with fountain views are amazing I heard , but the price then is quit high ( I would not mind for one time , but it would kill my holiday budget fast if I had a fancy dinner like that all night ) . I went also out at nightclub one time in Dubai , at the Hangout in the Marina area . The atmosphere was good , and I had a fun night out but the price was quit costly ( a beer costed around €12 ) . I miss kinda the relax feeling like I had in Thailand and Spain , where I almost can go anywhere and eat Anywhere and drink a beer without think about my budget and the bill later on . But further about Dubai , I found most staff at home and restoran very friendly . The city is clean , had amazing attractions and nice beaches . Its just to some degree it missed some coziness and life . But Certain attractions are amazing , and there are still many things of Dubai that I have not seen yet . Its good also you made another video about the dark side of Dubai , which shocked me ( since I was also considering about work over there before ) . Thanks also for pointing that out . Keep up the good work .

Thank you, Gabi, for your update. Great to know you are in good health, financially secure and happy in Thailand. Two of my best friends from childhood suffered burn-outs during the careers. One is a physician. the other an investment banker. When a third person, another mutual friend, suffered a "breakdown" these two friends advised him to see a family doctor (general practitioner) to get a referral to a psychiatrist. By coincidence, all 3 of them were diagnosed with GAD (general anxiety disorder) and depression. Good news: after just a few months of medication, all 3 are now feeling as well as they have ever been. Two of them continue their medications while the third no longer needs it. Sometimes, exercises, diet and fresh air work by themselves, sometimes they need medications. Good luck to you and Ploy

Everybody wants to visit the Varanasi, Indians believe that, if we have God blessing then only we can reach the Varanasi, without God blessings we can't reach Varanasi, we are four members in family, one person only visited Varanasi, it means God give permission to him, came and visit, everybody will wait for their turn to visit.(at this video you said that many times you thought to come here right, same feeling for us) at 1 particular time so we feel, we have to visit that place, we have to visit that place, after some point, god will be open the door, that how our journey became more memorable, more beautiful we came back with more spiritual knowledge.🕉️

Hi Gabby,
Sorry to hear you have been going through difficult times. I share similar problems. I have been able to manage, and then overcome them by the introduction of the use of psychedelics which for me, has been groundbreaking. Of course I did a ton of research and lots of heavy contemplation before indulging, but I have to say, it is one of the most important things I have ever done, and that has been transformative in improving how I was feeling. I understand it's not for everyone, nor am I selling/condoning this, but the use of natural plant medicine psychedelics, namely DMT & Psilocybin are now being widely researched and studied by Dr's at top universities for treatment of some of the conditions you have described. I'm not sure what your views are about such things, but there is definitely a light at the end of the tunnel, and very impressive results to address these conditions. Thank you for being brave in sharing your lived experiences, and I wish you well as always brother! 🙏🏿

In English, although I can write in Italian, as it is indeed, an International Channel: love your life, travelling, riding a bike, happy smile, great attitude toward people and the enviroment, simply perfect! Nice this drone's videos, perhaps you should have bought some spare parts? Just in case, as it does happen that it can crash easyly, hope not, of course. Ride on Gabi 🤩

Canggu is the worst, it doesn't even look like Bali anymore, more like Miami! Thanks to Tik Tok and IG, sadly those places like Tulum and Bali are highly overrated, and not entirely sure how this problem would be solved. You live in Thailand and it has not become like this, the Thai government must be doing something right. Nothing against tourism or people moving freely but there is a clear lack of respect and preservation of nature because of money! I do love Indonesia tho, very beautiful country and a lof of untouched part of Bali such as the North or the East! Strangely enough, I would love to go back there and I understand the attraction, my heart wants to go back but my mind reminds me of the hassle haha... Go to Sidemen and Kintamani next, you would love it, and if you want ever more peace, go to Lombok! Enjoy and keep them videos coming ;)

I live in Kata. I find all the negativity to be a bit amusing, and somewhat sad. Firstly, there seems to be nowhere in Thailand where one can live and have access to such beautiful beaches, and all the amenities of a big city, as Phuket has. The traffic? Yeah, it sucks during high season, but people make it such a big deal. The worst is trying to drive to the airport (and avoid Bang Tao). So if you do a short visit, yes, you have 2 "bad" drives in a short span of time. But living there, I rarely find myself stuck in traffic. And compared to other places (Bangkok, Bali, and California), the traffic isn't even that bad by comparison. It can even be easy to avoid - just don't go to the airport or drive during rush hour. When I am there, traffic is not a problem for me. Same goes for the "touristy" stuff. Even living in Kata, yes, there are the bar sois, and the night market areas that are full of tourists, but you don't HAVE to go there, there are still many other nice local options. As for development, yeah, there is a lot of it, but same goes for Samui (which doesn't get the same hate that Phuket does), and many many other desirable areas of Thailand, and, as you mentioned, around the world this is unfortunately a trend, not really unique to Phuket. I think that life there is still very nice. I am not bothered by the russians, you don't have to interact with them if you don't want to, but there are still many many nationalities there, and I have friends from dozens of different countries, all living in Phuket.
Edilt: I think the worst and most annoying thing about Phuket now is how much hate it attracts, on YouTube and various other social platforms. I can't think of anywhere that people are constantly negative about. It does become very tiresome. The other thing, it is a pretty large island. It is a big city. It has a big population. It is not a tiny island where one can feel like a castaway (though there are areas where you can do this), and I think people get that wrong, they have incorrect expectations perhaps. And when people compare the smaller islands, those islands are the same size as just one individual neighborhood in Phuket, so the comparisons aren't exactly fair. Also, as for cost of living, 2 bedroom bungalow in Kata for 10k/month doesn't seem all that outrageous to me. I arrive back in 1 week. I will be making a series to showcase the good things about the island that people overlook and ignore. :)
One important thing for tourists to consider, because I see this complaint a lot, is that high season and peak season, don't expect to be alone. Tourists seem to want to be the only tourists in a location. And during peak season, crowds everywhere. It's not as if Phuket is busy and other places are completely empty. As it turns out, a lot of people have the same idea to holiday in Thailand during the Christmas period. Go figure.

These are NOT the factories which export textiles to the West. They sell to the LOCAL Bangladeshi market cheaply. Garments manufacturing and exports are mainly carried by large Bangladeshi conglomerates and groups of industries like Hameem group, Mohammadi group, Viyellatex group, Thermax group, Noman group, DBL group, Epyllion group, Opex Sinha group, Beximco group, Square group and other conglomerates. These conglomerates are CERTIFIED when it comes to health and safety, women empowerment, banning child labour, environment sustainability and other criterias of a safe garments factory. If they were NOT CERTIFIED, the West would not be importing textiles from Bangladesh.

Gabi, having depression can be really tough, especially for someone as sensitive as you. Depression can be a result of the busy city life, excessive social media scrolling, aimless time wasting, lack of affection, lack of friends, lack of contact with loved ones, and most importantly, losing connection with ourselves. You have the good fortune to travel and the opportunity to be in India where you can go to a place like Isha Foundation to heal forever, and I can indicate you to Sadhguru Isha Foundation, which is world-renowned and has benefited people who have gone through programs like Inner Engineering, leaving incredible testimonies of the results they have achieved. I hope this can help you . I wish you the best 🙏

Ok listen carefully Gabi, you HAVE to try an official "Vietnamese Barber Shop".
It's a place where you will litterally be treated like a King for about 1.5 hour. And girls do the job. You can have foot washing, pedicure, manicure,, facial care, earpicking, hair washing..
Also you can get a full course massage service for your head, shoulders, neck, arms and legs... And it's dirt cheap.
I will be very mad at you if you don't try it while being there. Enjoy Saigon, it's a wild but amazing city. ;)

I'm happy that you're in some shape, thanks for checking in! I am addicted to spend Jan-Feb in Thailand since 2015, and I wouldn't have made it in 2022 without your videos on Thailand Pass and insurance. I pray for you to get your head back to where you want it. Consider building or creating something: house, product, new channel, design, a busineess, family, a bike, a book, a practice, or community. Putting aside a purpose and looking for a new one is totally ok. We really wish you the best with my girlfriend, I've been checking the comments section in every 2 weeks just to know if you're OK. :) <3

After these come to the countryside like cox bazar, sazek, sylhet tea garden, inani beach, marine long drive, go to the northern part of Bengal, see the rural life, make friendship with a good English speaking guy. Believe me u will never forget Bangladeshi experience

Your experience has demonstrated the concept of Yin and Yang which you mentioned in the video. That is, at first there was a lot of people, noise, and activities, and that is Yang. Then Yin emerged as the day went further i.e. you found yourself all on your own, the atmosphere became wet and dark, quiet and tranquil. The contrasts compliment each other, a concept that can be found in chapter 2 of Tao Te Ching, '.....Therefore being and non-being give birth to each other.
Difficult and easy accomplish each other.
Long and short form each other.
High and low distinguish each other. .....'. Nature effortlessly reveals itself this way through your being, interacting with what is there, and I think that is what you said 'Wu Wei'.

That was a beautiful video. I was really touched.
Here i was feelimg depressed wondering and worrying about the cost of living goimg up in the US, and these people have to live on so little. And they have to do the worst jobs to survive, with no security for the future.
Sadly they are Stateless, as they fled their country as there was no way to survive.
I know it is a slum and it does not look well, but for refugees, Thailand does not restrict them. They can live freely with everyone else.
That is not the case in Bangladesh. The Rohinga are not allowed to leave the refugee camp at all. They are comfined to a few small areas and locked in these areas. They cannot leave these areas to go work anywhere outside the camps. Their food is provided through the UN. The US supported a lot of the budget to help feed the Refugee Program around the world, but President Donald Trump has cut ALL aid after he dissolved the USAID office with the help of Elon Musk and DOGE.
The UN Refugee Program has been hit hard and is resorting to feeding only one meal a day. Rich Billionaires like Trump and Elon, are trying to keep as much money in the US so that they can benefit from it. Elon's space X program has got 30 Billion dollars from the US government and every spaceship rocket has failed. Billions lost as Elon has fun trying to get a man to Mars and establish a colony there. Fun and games, while people are goimg hungry around the world. He also gave Trump $300 million before the election. So Trump lets him do what he wants.
Can you imagine what $30 billion would do to try to help these refugees to help them support themselves?.
It is also sad that Bangladesh does not do what Thailand is doing, not confining to a camp, like a big open prison that is found in Bangladesh. The Rohinga share the same religion of Islam with the people of Bangladesh but the Bangladesh government will not allow them to mix with their people. So even though the conditions in Thailand do not look the best, they are so much better than refugee camps in Bangladesh.
So i do applaud the Thai government. They also allow these people to work, may not be legal, but they look the other way.

This is a controversial comment.
What helped me was the harsh acceptance that depression is a choice and social anxiety is just a lack of social skills, feelings being inadequate, it can all be learned and unlearned with effort, it just takes A LOT of effort if you weren't properly socialized as a child. Even though media bombards you with the fact that it's not choice, that you're a slave to your emotions and their is nothing you can do, which really isn't helping anyone who is already struggling it only disempowers them further..
When you accept that there is something that your body/mind/soul (call it whatever) is trying to convey/isn't okay with be it social skills, money/material wealth, companionship etc, you can start looking for answers and adress them. Meaning actually changing your life situation, and if it's not something that you can change(loss of a loved one, disease etc, your past), then the solution really is to just keep going, through the pain and facing it until it eventually becomes less painful. Which it always will.
What you resists persist.
You might not agree with this.. Although I would argue that you actually do. You are actively working with a therapist, meaning that you know that you don't have to feel this way, that there is a choice and getting a professional to help will speed the progress up.
There are people with aspergers who have trained themselves to be a social butterfly, the mind is very malleable with determination.

Perfect decision: never do a travel esp. A challenging one, if you are not in best mind and body 'shape'. Traveling is challenging, esp. nowadays. And, yes, do South India, awesime temples there, start at Kanyakumari, Madurai, Chennai with awesome carvings of Mahabalipuram nearby, Gangaikondacholapuram, the awesome Brihadisvara temple, Padmanabhapuram Palace ( biggest wooden palace worldwide mentioned in the Guiness book of records) in Thiruvanantapuram, Sri Ranganata Swamy Temple in Tiruchirapalli, all this Dravidian architecture is mind blowing!!! The south is awesome. Don't miss it🎉❤

What a wonderful perseverance!!!! However, as Thai I am not surprise why no one help you, even the locals. Last week, there was a French man who got the same experience as you in Kao Sok, eventually he died on the mountain by slipping from the cliff. So, if this situation happens again, please believe me, DO NOT CLIMB THE MOUNTAIN!!. The reason that no one help you, even the locals because it‘s too dangerous. It‘s not only steep , slippery , or even dense with plants but it also has a lot of poisonous animals like king cobra. So you were really lucky to be safe. Please, believe me if it happens again, asking your hotel for help or contact a Tourist police. I can guarantee. They can help you more or less.

Hi Gabi, it was great seeing you 🙏🏼 I’m sorry you’re having a bit of a rough time right now, but isn’t that the beauty of life. This is how we grow and evolve that enables us to eventually see the true beauty within . I hope you will once again find that spark. You really seem to be a great guy with a natural , authentic compassion for others. Hold on to that , I think that’s where you’ll find your calling . Take care , keep smiling, eat well , sleep well , look at the stars , marvel at the beauty and vastness of nature and swim in the ocean. All will be well 🙏🏼🙏🏼🙏🏼 sending love your way . FYI, Eckhart Tolle’s books are insightful, they might be worth looking into . 😊

Hi Gabi😁l feel the same, before covid🦠I went to Thailand a lot. I love the people there, and the relaxed way of life. Sabai sabai✌️ l am from Ireland 🇮🇪☘️and here too, prices are crazy 😝 l don’t watch tv news, because it’s nearly always so negative. And the winters are long and depressing. On the flip side I have met many Thai people living in lreland, that are some what Happy here, no mosquitoes 🦟😂and not so hot as Thailand, better education for there kids, and financial benefits too. Better wages for them ,to send money back to the families in Thailand. Not so many motorbikes and pollution. Being single myself, I hope to get back to Thailand at Christmas 😊Take care, love the channel 🙏🏽👍✌️

I just wanted to take a moment to reach out and let you know how much you are appreciated. I know you're going through a tough time right now, dealing with anxiety and depression. It's not easy, and it's completely okay to feel overwhelmed. But please remember, you are incredibly strong for facing these challenges each day.
Your YouTube Chanel brings so much joy and happiness to people's lives. You have a unique gift, and the impact you make is profound. The positivity and light you bring through your work touch the hearts of many, and that's something truly special. Even on the days when it feels like you're not making a difference, trust that you are.
It's important to take care of yourself and give yourself the compassion and understanding you so freely give to others. Remember, it's okay to ask for help and to take the time you need to heal and recharge. You are not alone in this, and there are people who care about you and are here to support you.
You have already accomplished so much, and your resilience is inspiring. Keep going, one step at a time, and know that brighter days are ahead. Your strength and creativity are making a difference in the world, and you have a lot of people rooting for you.
Take care of yourself, and never forget how valued and loved you are.
Warmest wishes.

Interesting exploration different scenery of the beach when it comes to beach scenery with tourists I suppose that beach looks pretty high on the mark but qualifies as the most beautiful beach is? Is it the one without tourist or is it the one where you can do a lot of snorkeling is it the one where you have the sand bar in any case Boracay seems to have all the categories of what makes the most beautiful beach in the world first it has palm trees, second color of the sand and its coarse feel quality powdery, then color of the water clear blue water because if you are just comparing it to Maldives not a whole lot of coconut trees there a couple places its mostly sand bar in that case if your just looking for sand bar try a place called KALANGGAMAN ISLAND, MANjUYOD WHITE SANDbar BEACH, Sumilon Island, The Vanishing Island, the Snake Island, The white Island, The Virgin island Bohol, The Manlawi Island, The Seco island, The Bulubudlangan Island so on just to name a few remember they have more than 7,000 Island to choose from.

I feel you man. 53 years old here with the exact same issues as you but since I was 22. So 30 damn years of depression and anxiety. It sucks. And if people have not experienced it, they don't understand. Sadly that is how it is.
I have money, a beautiful wife and I (we) also travel a lot. But I'm always sad and depressed. Except when I drink, so beware of that because it is a straight fast road to alcoholism..
But, I have two children that I love more than anything. They are my reason to keep on going. To go up in the morning. They give me that purpose that people with our issues need.
I found a meaning, that is what you need, not to wait for it to pass, because, sorry, it may not pass. Gotta find that purpose, whatever it may be, chase it man! Chase it!
Love! /Christian

Hello brother, I can find that you have your heart's pursuit, Tao is not telling you not to do, but to look at things with an objective attitude which will make your heart brighter. Thinking along with nature, your mind will be detached from the body, let yourself into the crowd, observe their thinking and behavior, learn their strengths, abandon their shortcomings, become a better self, detached from the public. The idea of Tao is to make you the person you want to be, and from the idea of Tao to find a way that works better for you.

Hey, Ive just seen your last vlog, Ive been struggling with social anxiety and depression almost all my life, Ive been also traveling solo the last 30 months, I had the same problem in Philippines in El Nido and Coron, I wasn't feeling well, now in Siargao Im better because I came to a hostel and I met nice people, but besides that Ive realized that Im happier when Im visiting cities than when Im visiting a beach area, I had the same problem in Fiji and Vanuatu, so difficult to meet people. Moving to Vietnam next week and then probably to Bangkok, Chiang Mai and Pai, hope to meet you one day, Best wishes

WOW Gabi so interesting I would never have known you suffer with mental health, you come across so relaxed and calm as I have mentioned in past comments, maybe this is why I connected with you from the start as I also suffered all my adult life and thinking back probably most of my life with anxiety and depression, I guess I found comfort in watching your vloggs, as well as wanting to move to Thailand, you helped me with the Thai pass back when I came for a month in Jan, you may remember I told you I see your bike parked up at one of the beaches in Phuket but you had gone when I returned to say hi! I am way behind on the videos but started a YouTube channel with all the footage I took when in Phuket, I still have a lot to learn with presentation and editing but finding the learning process fun but time consuming. Its thanks to you and a few other vloggers that gave me the encouragement to give YouTube a try. Hopefully I will get to edit the video when I see your bike soon, I will send you a link when its out. This comment is from my channel name account in the passed they where form my usual gmail account!
Take care mate and so good to see Ploy has made a good recovery please send her my regards, hoping to move to Phuket next year, and when I do I would love to meet up with you for a chat and maybe do a vlog sometime in the future. 🙏🙏

I can relate. I'm a traveler myself and been to so many wonderful countries, thanks to my job being a digital nomad. I spent the past few years traveling nonstop, living life to the fullest. But despite all these, I was feeling empty. I guess part of why I'm traveling is to search for myself and find my purpose. I'm blessed and grateful for what I have achieved in life, but deep inside I feel sad and lonely. It was made even worse after breaking up with a long-term partner. I just spent 6 months in Thailand, mostly in Chiang Mai. And while I was not completely healed, I feel so much better now. Right now, I'm back home, spending time with family. I still get depressed, but I'm now learning to focus on my blessings. I'm taking it one day at a time. and of course, my faith in God has significantly help me push through. Cheers,Gabi. you are not alone in these, and I totally understand you, one hundred percent!

I've visited Koh Phangan since 2012,and, as you, almost every year, beside 2020 and 2021, going back this July, finally. we are a family of 6, me my wife and 4 kids, and i must say i dont find a more perfect place than Koh Phangan. Like you we stay in Koh ma area, in maehaad bay, and we absolutely enjoy the quiet, the beach and pools, we love driving around, discovering the island and the people. Im happy to see some things are reopening and i hope things will get back to normal soon. I will always suggest Koh Phangan for people wanting a good party, relax, meditation and even families, the island, in my opinion isnt small and isnt big, it's just right for every taste.

Man Gabi you're from one of the most beautiful countries in the world. I've been to around 10 countries in the world, but saw so many other countries watching Youtubers like yourself. Your country Italy, I've been to twice, and I was completely blow away. I'm from the USA and have been to many states also, plus all over the Caribbean, but now my dream is to move to Italy. That place is amazingly beautiful, and this is coming from someone who never liked Italy before, because of football, was never a fan of Italy. So imagine what kind of country Italy must be for me to say that my dream is to move to Italy!! Also big fan of yours Gabi, my family and I watched many of your videos since way back, keep on traveling and bringing us more videos man!!

I'm a newbie here, Gabi; was drawn here because of your Hue video. I'm so happy I found you.
You are a good man [French, no?], speak from your heart and exude real beauty. I live and have lived, off an on, for many years in Chiang Mai. Hope serendipity puts you in my path.
I once read this and it might resonate: "If you haven't yet found your purpose in life, your purpose in life is to find your purpose in life." All is well, mate, and may you know it. I say this for you as much as myself.
Best to you, man, and may your mind find peace and acceptance. You are a beautiful man!

So sorry to hear about your grandpapa.. Treasure the memories. We are always remained that life is so short. Thank you for sharing something so private about your life. It makes me feel it is okay to have those similar thoughts and to feel vulnerable. It must be a bit difficult to be away from family during this time. I am assuming this was your mother's father, you might want to call your mom a bit more often to check on her. Your grandpa was the typical Italian, very creative. The architecture of Italy is so beautiful. I hope they save some of his paintings for you. He left you a great legacy on how to live your life to the fullest.
I just watched a video of an Indian gentleman that was on the doomed plane that crashed in Nepal. He was livestreaming from the plane a few minutes before the crash. He was even smiling at the time and someone translated what he said to his friends, where he said to them, that it is a lot of fun as he was enjoying the plane ride. Flying on a plane is a real luxury for a lot of people around the world. He and his friends never thought they were going to die. But in a few minutes he was gone, he perished with all those poor souls. Yes, your life can end in a moment and it is all over, no do overs. And your Grandpa was right, life is so tough because we have to see so many of our loved ones die before us. I bet if we were told before we were born that in that life we are going to experience so much heartache and death, I am sure many will not want to come into this world. And what is sad, that in spite of all that, people spend their time being ugly to other people over silly things. You made the right decision Gabe, life is not about getting to the destination but about the journey. Take care my friend.

Hi Gabi.
I have saw ur few videos about India. Specially about Rajsthan, Varanasi and Delhi tour. At same time I have also saw some videos by other foreign youtuber who have presented the culture and people of India like a miserable. It shows they don't have feelings and respect for other country's culture, people and don't have the sympathy to understand the people.
But after looking your videos , being Indian, I would like to thank you for representing India as a rich nation by heart and culture even though there are some circumstances which are not easy to digest. Similarly you are very kind person by nature who has respect for the people n understand them without insulting them or mocking on the..
Even the culture of Varanasi u have picturised in a wonderful way showing respect towards people as well as the people.
I have also observed your down to Earth nature, that whatvr is been offered u have enjoyed it or ate it without any ego of being rich. May God bless u and shower with love , kindness and happiness always.
I would like to Thank you 🙏 as a Indian for respecting our culture. If u visit anytime in Goa India, if I get chance I would like to meet you to salute your humanity and down to Earth behaviour in this selfish world.
Always be happy.
In India we says " Atithi Devo Bhav" means guest are equivalent to the God"
So u are welcome to India, enjoy , have good memories.
As a kind human being just don't get cheated. Yes we indians are the best by heart, but there might be some people who lack humanity and ethics. Then just ignore them thinking they are not True Indians😅. Because India is the country of peace , humanity which teaches people to live life in spiritual way

i always start my message to you with Oh Gabi , so here goes ...
Oh Gabi , i have never been so relieved to see a you tube post as this one .
i can completely relate to you , that why i was so worried to have you just disappear from here.
please know that you have genuine people that have been concerned , yet also know will be totally understanding of the situation .
you have been in my thoughts and prayers since last video in Africa
remember that when you are an emotional person , life seems to show us a very different view of things .
you never have to apologize or justify why you lost the spark , it just happens ,
it happens to me on daily basis ,
my life has changed a great deal in the past 5 years and its has taken its toll on me also
my "other" life should be in India rescuing all the animals that need help , yet i am here in Australia looking after my father .
i haven't seen my partner in 5 years and that is a very sad thing for me .
we just all need to know that people do really bond with people that they resonate with , wherever it may be in our world .
Just take it day by day and take pictures , make some videos and post when you feel like it ,
you have real flair for this and you are extremely talented with the editing etc. , i wish i knew how to do this kind of thing ,
i wish you daily blessings and just remember to get lots of fresh fruit and vegetables and lots of sunshine as this truly helps .
maybe have a look at taking some supplements like high strength magnesium and an Indian herb called Ashwaganda .
thank you again for your honesty , that why so many people love and care for you around the world
kind regards Greta from Australia

Hello Gabi,
it's great to see you here again. Yes, I've often wondered what you've been up to and whether you're doing well. So, I thank you for your openness and explanations, even though we obviously have no right to them. It is your life and your decision what you do, when, and how. But that's just the burden of being a Youtube star to some, isn't it?
I am constantly surprised and grateful for your openness towards us, who you actually don't know at all. Thank you for that!
Now to my unasked advice (and I apologize for it) – I think this has been on your mind for a long time: You shouldn't continue to suffer from your illness because mental health issues are not uncommon and can be treated. It's important that you discuss your issues with a good psychologist or psychotherapist who can really help you. I mean, avoid the many quacks who only have one thing in mind – your money.
I don’t know if therapies are possible in Thailand, but if necessary, it might be an option to go to Italy for it. Anyway – it's obviously your life and your decision, but it pains me to see you suffer like this.
I wish you all the best, good luck, and success in everything you undertake in this matter – and of course, beyond that.
Stay strong and take care of yourself!
Warm regards, Roland

I can't get enough of your videos Gabi. You show me a side of the towns I have visited from a different angle, and give me a snapshot of places I still have to see. My most favourite town is Chiang Mai. I have memories of New Years Eave at the Tha Pae Gate, just barely missed being hit by fireworks and watching thousands of candle lanterns replacing the stars for what looked like hundreds of kilometres down-wind. There is a big lake behind Doi Sutep, that has little open-air huts flanking the lake and where you can order food and eat in a tranquil environment in an elevated position, with a smashing view; not 5-star of course but pretty down-to-earth.
There are also a few all-you-can-eat Thai Bbq "Moo Gata" throughout Chiang Mai that may astound you with the type and amount of food there and the surprising appetite of the Thai people who go there. Some venues are as large as an aircraft hanger.
I have been to a restaurant in a suburb of Chiang Mai where the prawns and fish are swimming in pools near the kitchen and there is only Thai People eating there. Next time in Chiang Mai, you might be interested in a proper Thai 'Medical' Massage in what used to be called "The Old Medicine Hospital" (Near the Airport Plaza) Once you get a massage from an expert practitioner there, you will understand what Thai Massage is supposed to be like. They use traditional herb-packs and salves there too.
Northern Thai Massage is completely different from the ones you may get at What Pho, Massage School, Bankok. The Pai Massage School is of the same tradition and teaches similar techniques.
Have you seen the huge fish-tank at Airport Plaza...Chiang Mai? there is a traditional food-court there nearby, which is amazing.
The smells are incredible.
I could always get a good carrot juice there too.
Are you interested in going to Khon Kaen. ? Their university has a premier Thai Massage research facility. I have been to the university there, went to the local market and did some shopping. I found it a nice spot, but didn't have time to do much sight-seeing. Thank you for your great videos and inspiring dialogue. I watch them every day.

hahah...scam of course....arrived Lunag Purbang by plane last Thursday, net was saying $US35 for visa on arrival, in the immigration window not easily seen untill your right in front of it $US40 plus $1 service fee....payed in Thai Bhat, will only accept CASH, by the time i walked away from the very slow process of getting into the country it worked out at a $US49, of course we are not going to argue with immigration are we? The 3 accept currencys are a nuisance US Kip and Thai, they have a habit of rounding it up and your often left short changed, use a credit card anywhere its +3%, i have US$ on a travel card the exchange rate they were giving me every where was 15kip to the $ when its over 17, pretty much similar for the Bhat. There turned into vultures in at least LP, i was in Vientiane about 12 ys ago and dont recall the level of hunger for your money back then, even the giving of alms has been turned into a business with pushy food sellers flogging of cheap food for 200B a pop. They charge you for everything, even to walk up a hill with crap views, to go to the toilet, same hill and the night market...Hired a car for a day, would only accept cash...there not service orientated, i got the impression i was a walking ATM.

Thomas Bowrey, a British merchant sailor, visited Dhaka in the 1670s. In his book, A Geographical Account of Countries Round the Bay of Bengal, he mentioned:[46]
The City of Dhaka is a very large, spacious one, but stands on low, marshy, swampy ground, and the water of that ground is very brackish, which is the only inconvenience. It has, however, some very fine conveniences that compensate, having a very fine and large river that runs close by the city walls, navigable by ships of 500 or 600 tonnes burden. The water of the river, being an arm of the Ganges, is extraordinarily good, but is some distance for fetching and carrying for some residents of the city, the city being not less than 40 English miles in circumference. It is an admirable city for its greatness, for its magnificent buildings, and the multitude of its inhabitants. A very great and potent, permanent, and paid army is based here, in a constant state of readiness. Also, many large, strong, and stately elephants, trained for battle, which are kept close to the palace.

Many blessings

So, I live in Phuket, and I love it there. Yes, there are tons of tourists on the west coast, and some of them can be quite annoying, but one thing I have noticed a lot in recent years are tourists complaining about the presence of other tourists. I think it's hilarious. Like, the most popular spots are generally popular for good reasons (natural beauty, cultural attractions, etc, in addition to ease of access). Also, 40 million tourists visit every year. Many more probably wish to. So when tourists come and expect that they alone had the good idea to visit Thailand, I think it's funny. Like I tell people, in the age of instagram, social media, youtube, there are no hidden gems so much. But at the end of the day, I have had amazing times in tourist areas, and amazing times in more remote areas, and during covid when there were no tourists. Up to the person how they want to approach each situation :)

I don’t think it’s good to say that one region is "more" Thailand than another. I understand that you mean well Isaan has preserved ot own traditions, but this also reflects its lower level of development compared to other regions, which isn’t necessarily a good thing.
If you think Isaan represents the "raw" or "real" Thailand, then by that definition, you might feel the same way about Laos—it could be considered even "more Thai" than Isaan. Come on, what would people in other regions think?
You might need to consider Thai history and how different kingdoms joined Bangkok to form a unified country in order to survive Western colonization. The region that has always been the central power and the glue holding the country together is the Central region, where other kingdoms historically sent tribute and it never been the other way round
The North had its own medium size Kingdom, shifting alliances between Central and Myanmar. Isaan alternated between being under Lao and Siamese influence, with both Siam and Myanmar attempting to control Laos. Back in yhe Lamxang was a big snd strong Kingdom which not hood for the Central Thai to have the similarity ethnic Kingdome to influence nearby so Lanxang might be gone. The South was wealthy and always allied with the Central region to gain support, allowing them to benefit from smaller kingdoms while also paying tribute to the central power—a perfect mutually beneficial arrangement.
However, since the formation of the modern nation-state, no region should be considered "more Thai" than another. If you're looking for people of pure Tai ethnicity and enviroment, you should visit a Tai ethnic village in Assam in India such as Tai Pake Village—that's as Tai as you can get.

Ho passato 3 settimane in Nusa Penida all’insegna del relax.

I think the Thai people are shy and then there is the language barrier.
I used to be shy growing up and when some international exchange students came to my schools I didn't talk to them. I feel bad looking back, as they were in a foreign country and I should have tried to talk to them to make them feel comfortable. But I just too shy and I think they must have thought I was too proud or something.
And I noticed when I was in France I couldn't speak French and many French people didn't have the patience to find out how to help me. Not all of them, just some of them.
In India generally the North do not speak as much English and only try to speak Hindi. But the South does not speak Hindi and so they converse with a North Indian in English. So in the South India a lot more people speak English. I think because they speak more English they are very interested in the outside world or the people from the outside world because they read a lot of English news from around the world.
Now I do find that the South Indians are not so rushed and so they will try to help you, as opposed to North India..And South Indians also smile a lot. North Indian especially women are very reserved and do not smile as much.
Over all, I do find there is a big difference from North India and South India, and it is almost like two different countries! The North has always ruled over all of India since independence, I believe.
I am surprised the South does not seem to care although I did find a YouTuber for the South, from Tamil Nadu, who expressed the same that I said, but also went further and said that the South should splinter from the North. He was advocating for the South to create their own country and break away from India. But the current government of PM Modi do not like any talk or debate about it. They see it as subversive, almost like sedition. Especially because of Kashmir who have been fighting for independence from India.
India is a big country almost like Europe but it is still one country. With 23 different languages India did try to impose one language for government and that was Hindi but the Southern states have rejected this. All North Indian languages originate from the Indo European languages but the South originate from the Dravidian language which is completely different..You can tell immediately by the sound.

I see people commenting and explaining how those factories don't manufacture cloths for export, well I guess what Gabi was trying to highlight is the plight of most of the workers, their age, how they are under paid, the sqaulid conditions they work under, and all the other horrors they have to endure, to satisfy a local or international market/ clientel. I doubt the workers working in the so known up scale factories get paid any much better. 2 major industries Bangladesh is known for usually have people work as slaves, the first being the fabric and the other the ship bteaking industry. The major players are to blame, i.e the west and the locals taking up big contarcts at lucrative prices paying the workers unfair wages, this paradigm is prevalent in most 3rd world countries, but the main culprits I'd say are western corporations and conglomorates thriving on the misery of others !

Well , Yes we get mad at peoples ( Especially Foreign Vloggers sorry for that ) cause Everybody shows Old Delhi in which we dont even want to go as New Delhi and Alot Of Foreigners who watches the videos , they are misinformed cause of this problem . I think , Same happened with you , You also saw those videos and went to Old Delhi considering it as New Delhi ... Sorry on behalf of my dear Indians , But Please try to understand us . Same goes with Mumbai . They shows slums saying it is the whole Mumbai ... I will suggest you to Go to Noida , Greater Noida and Gurugram which is just surrounded to New Delhi and You will see Modern India over there . Also Visit North East India , Its more beautiful and If you want to enjoy Snow , Visit Himachal Pradesh or Kashmir , Its snowing over there . Have a Good Day . and About Scammers , Just say them I am calling Police , It will help you and Do have numbers of Police .

Hi Gabi, long time subscriber. My Thai wife and I will return to Thailand on 8th April, want to stay one night Pattaya, as we live in Chanthaburi.
I am confused with test and go, as we will need hotel, transport and 2 pcr tests. and e.g. price is 4500 baht one person for room, transport and one pcr, when I ask about pcr for my wife, price doubles to 9000 baht ???
Don't understand? Any ideas ?? Same transport, same room, but extra pcr.
Is this a rip off ?? Charging double if 2 people ?
Hope you can advise
Cheers Geoff

Hi Gaby, is it feasible to travel by car in Thailand? While driving in highly touristic areas might not be ideal, what are the road conditions like outside of those areas? Are the roads generally suitable for car travel?
Additionally, there are warnings about traveling by bike in Thailand as ChatGPT just told me😊
Road Safety Warning for Motorcyclists Traveling to Thailand
Travelers planning to ride motorcycles in Thailand should be aware of the significantly higher risk of fatal accidents compared to Italy. In 2023, Thailand recorded approximately 4,100 motorcycle-related fatalities, with a 0.0186% probability of death per motorcycle owner. In comparison, Italy reported 734 motorcycle deaths and a 0.0106% probability, making the risk of dying in a motorcycle accident in Thailand 75% higher than in Italy.
Thailand has about 22 million registered motorcycles, more than three times the number in Italy (6.9 million), reflecting its widespread use of motorcycles as a primary mode of transport. However, this higher usage, combined with often challenging road conditions, less consistent enforcement of traffic laws, and lower helmet usage rates, contributes to the increased danger for motorcyclists.
Bottom line: While Thailand is a popular destination for tourists renting motorcycles, riders should exercise extreme caution. Always wear a helmet, avoid risky traffic situations, and be prepared for unpredictable road behavior. The probability of a fatal motorcycle accident in Thailand is significantly higher than in Italy, underscoring the need for heightened awareness and responsible riding.

Hey, welcome back Gabi, I'm glad you're well. Great vlog on Hong Kong. I can't wait as I'm off to Hong Kong, Macau, and Shanghai soon. Did you know how the British got Hong Kong? By illegally trafficking opium into China. When the Chinese tried to stop this, the British declared war (the First Opium War, 1839).
The British won and then forced China to cede Hong Kong to them. The Chinese lost the 2nd Opium War too in 1860, and Kowloon was ceded to the British. They also forced China to legalise the opium trade. Great facts ah!
I hope you give mainland China a look. It's definitely worth it now that Italy has visa free access to China
I first went to China in 1990 from Hong Kong. I went back to China last year and couldn't believe how advanced it was compared to the West. Beijing is a fantastic city to visit; the great wall, the forbidden city—so much history. I can't wait to see the future when I visit Shanghai in September.
EVs are everywhere. If you stand in the centre of downtown and listen for a minute, there's traffic in front of you, but there's an absence of the noise of running internal combustion engines.

All the YT vloggers from the West only focus on the glamorous parts of Thailand only. You will never see them go into these places. And they do have tons of viewers. I wonder if they did show some of this, if they would lose a lot of viewers?. Sadly, there are lots of selfish folk out that are just focused on their own narcissistic lives.
Yet there are volunteers like Gillian and others who dedicate their lives quietly for these poor people around the world.
I was so moved by the incredible work there at that school for these Stateless people, who are no different from any of us. They tragically are born into a country that is poor and at war, through no fault of their own!
So uplifting, to see the smiles and the joy in the faces of these kids. These volunteers are making a big difference in the world. God bless them!!
I once met a young woman from India here in the US at the doctor's office, as one of her three kids had the flu. In talking to her i was amazed to hear her story. She was from Kolkata, india. She was homeless at 9 years old as her mother had died and she didn't kmow who her father was, as they were dirt poor. She then went to live at the railway station with other kids her age and older, sleeping anywhere and begging for change from strangers. That is when a Catholic Charity called Don Bosco's found her. They took her to their orphanage to stay. They provided her food and sent her to school. At 17 she worked hard and got into university. After getting her degree an American sponsor hear of her, and was able to bring her to the US for a masters program. This sponsor had done it for many othet kids from that orphanage, allowing them to stay at their home while they went to college. The sponsor and her husband were teachers and it is amazing that they were able to do this with their little salaries and with some help from their own grown kids who were now working. This Indian woman was able to finish her degree and get a job in the US. She had corresponded with a guy she had fallen in love with in college in india. Although he was not an orphan, he did come from a very poor family. She was able to return to india, get married to him, and eventually bring him over. They have 3 daughters of their own now, have their own house in America and live a life they never imagined for themselves. I was expecting her to say she was now Christian, but she was allowed to remain Hindu with absolutely no pressure to convert to Christianity. Her husband is also Hindu and they are raising their kids as Hindu.
I just couldn't believe this young woman that spoke so well had come from the slums as a homeless child from India. She had such a positive view in life, the way she spoke. She showed me pictures of her beautiful brand new home they bought, and the beautiful Hindu altar they had built in the home. I thought it was so remarkable, and i was so shocked to this to this day that here i was able, to just meet her at the doctor's office, because her daughter wouldn't stop staring at me for whatever reason and that started a conversation.
It is incredible that they have so many good people doing great things around the world. We never hear of them, as they do it quietly. There is still plenty of good in the world.

Go Gabi, happy to see another video. Joga, breathing and mantras help me to be the seer and i am sure you will find you way.
Buit at the end of the day the mind - the program is running and evolve since we are born and so we are and that is the good thing. Postive reflections come and go and negative reflecations come and go- all is god and we are the seer as you know already from Sri Ramana Maharshi. If any of these come please try to remeber that and just try to experince it.
Just like budhists monks chant ''iti piso bhagava, araham, samma- sambuddho, vijjacarana- sampanno, sugatho, lokavidu, anuttaro purisa- dhamma-sarathi, satta-deva-manussanam, buddho, bhagavati'.

Great video, Gabi! I am torn on whether to visit Bali. I like peace, quiet, nature, and beaches but also with relaxed uncrowded beach bars to get a cocktail and some quaint coffee shops. I really liked Koh Lanta, Thailand, but I hear that Bali has tons of traffic, crowds, litter, and food that likely will give you Bali belly! Do you recommend an area of Bali most like Koh Lanta, Thailand?

Bali is my least favourite place in Asia I've been to we went in 2013. I just found it was like a holiday to Benidorm, from UK but Australians in Bali if that makes sence.
I found it was run down, dirty, over concentrated on tourism rather than authenticity like other parts of Asia that are equally as touristy I.e Thailand.
Paddy Doyle didn't like Bali but recently did a trip and went North which looks great but for some reason I just don't like Bali, the beaches aren't "wow" enough, therfore the beach destinations don't attract me, and then places that should be authentic seem... not authentic.
I wouldn't sit in that traffic, that's ridiculous. Even Lost Leblanc bought land and is building villas, of which he had no neighbours other than empty land, now he's pretty much being over looked by developments all round which has kinda ruined his investment of "paradise" before it's even finished building.
I don't like the way it's like London, but the roads/streets are like a village in Asia. It doesn't work, and it's proven but that can't be changed now as its so developed the roads are what they are.
Bali is a no go for me. I'd rather stick to places like Thailand (where tourism is big) or somewhere like Philippines, Vietnam or Laos.

thank you so much! It was very moving…. I discovered you about a month ago loved your videos and especially connected to the frequency of your voice…and also when you went searching for your drone! You mentioned that Ploi told you to pray to the energy ( or Gods or elementals) ,I do not remember which words you used but felt a very open & sensible human being… Ploi & Ploi are so sweet! I discovered you from the India videos & your attitude there 💖 I personally do not feel a part a special country: I strongly am in tune with so many countries…I have the same name as you but( German. Gabriele, haha, but I am 77 year old girl( or grandma )
From Germany to Belgia…& Spanish, French, Dutch & possibly even gipsies…From 5 years on, here and there, now in a French speaking province of Canada: I am Gabrielle I always felt like a citizen of the world, very strongly connected to so many people of the world & on a spiritual path..,Well too long talking…. Young in Europe I loved Italy, especially lake Garda & this region…Thank you again 🌈🦋🐾❣️

Buona fortuna caro Gabi !

I’m a person born in Chengdu, and I went to the mountain for several times. But I have never feel the place truly because I’m the exactly the person that you said treating the sacred places as the tourist attraction. And after watching your video I feel a little bit guilty about it because I think a lot of good places has been commercialized, we are loosing a lot of them, human has fxxked up some treasures. And your video made me realize the importance of our culture and the meaning of traveling, which is not only the trend but also the way to find ourselves and feel the connection between ourselves and the nature. As a Chinese, I have to say, it feels like you already have the Taoist heart. When you spent three days looking for the way, all kinds of wrong way, late to the mountain ...... you just feel that this is a natural thing, you do not complain about dissatisfaction, but in the seemingly less "smooth" situation, find a lot of heart satisfaction, such as riding alone in the cable car, all the people down the hill but you head for the hills alone, etc. On the way down, you found the peace you were hoping for within yourself. I am so happy for you. One principle of Taoism is 道法自然,顺应自然. The DAO (way) is natural, and you follow it. Love this video again and thank you❤

Always wonderful videos. I was literally travelling with you, enjoying every minute, I could almost smell the sea. Try, if you can, to become vegan, your health it will improve immediately, I have been vegan for over 15 years now, and I have slowed down the ageing process, acheiving only great benefits. Your spirituality is increasing, therefore it will definetly suit. Keep Riding my man, I am following you.

It might help to learn Thai by saying things in Thai out loud when you're by yourself and you can also practice with your girlfriend if she's game. That's how babies and children learn so quickly.
Also, babies lay in their cribs and many will "babble" out loud while they're saying the sounds they hear over and over from the language they're becoming accustomed to. So you can also do that with any sounds they have that we don't in English when you're in your crib. - lol
Like 'nee e, nee e, nee e, nee e, nee e,' which is drawn out and then emphasized at the end for the word 'this' in 'I like this' - "chung chow sing nee e'
And then find out if that's how you always say 'this' or only if the sentence ends with the word 'this'.
One: Lin
Two: Soun
Three: Song
(or that's the way I heard it on Google Translate)
They write it differently from how I hear it: H̄nụ̀ng s̄xng s̄ām (หนึ่ง สอง สาม)
In Chinese it's: Ee Ar Sun (一 二 三)
Also get a notebook and start writing notes and write how it sounds to you and then how they write it transliterated into English and then in Thai. Then reread your notes out loud all the time.
And make flash cards, especially picture flashcards, and use them whenever you find yourself with time on your hands like just waiting for a train or something.
Google Thai-English flashcards and hit Shopping. There's an array of products. Let people see you using them. Some might want to help you study and pronounce it right.
You could also get a tutor.
Also, singing the words helps - do it to any tune - turn on the radio or play music you like and do it. You can also watch videos that teach you Thai. Type: Thai to English Learning into YT's Search bar. You have to 'drill and kill' to get it to stick.
Well, I hear you saying you don't like trying and I get that too. So take the above advice or leave it, I just thought I'd post this because maybe you haven't heard it before, and it could help others who are reading it. Basically, the more time you spend with the material, the better you'll get at it - and that goes for anything you want to learn.
ฉันชอบวิดีโอนี้ - C̄hạn chxb widīxo nī̂ - I like this video.
Here they say: I like video this - with the 'nee e' on the end. It sounds like "chung chow video nee e" to mee e.
Thai is a hard language but you're smart and if you put your mind to it, you might surprise yourself. Just break it up into small bite-size pieces and study a li'l bit here and there. And then take a break. You can come back to it later.
สีดูสมจริงในกล้อง DJI สำหรับฉัน - The color looks realistic in the DJI camera to me.
The shots are beautiful ~ ภาพมีความสวยงาม (Ha nee kwam soy naam) - "naam" like in Vietnam.

I’m sorry for your loss , I’m glad you have nice memories with your lost ones,
We humans are like fruits we keep coming back our face change , so basically you see your family in each human you meet,
I’m glad you enjoy life as much as you can
We are like any species really , your tribe is the people you meet but really , life is really simple but everyone is in a trance whether we are exposed to war or a loss , our brain makes a concoction of chemistry and we believe what we believe , the light is within us and we just do what we do and we die ,
Have fun
See god , love, life , greed, hypocrisy , fear, anger , and all the reactions as a manifestation of the light in us .
As you said life is tough and taking one day at a time is important,
And death is part of life as other humans are born and we meet humans everyday and they just have different features with different understanding due to different environments and different frequencies from the sun and the rest and it manifest differently but really we are just a different copy of same
Nice video and give yourself a pat on the back you made it well so far .
And you have this faceless tribe that love you so we are mostly souls and energies and we love you
Take care ❤
