  8. I feel bad for this girl. Not just for the assault and false imprisonment, but the total humiliation she must feel. Being probably viewed by some as a "homewrecking", "crazy ex" type. I'd bet his brothers in blue have been trying to coerce her into vouching for him nonstop since. Threatening to arrest her, release private info on her to degrade her, further retaliation if she doesn't downplay it as a spat between lovers. It's hard to believe this is real and not an exaggerated scene from a Lifetime movie.

  10. a street gang tries this kidnapping and you can shoot them to defend your family, but if the gang is employed by the government they are immune to any repercussions. i remember in the sixth grade back in 95 learning about the German secret police leading into WW2 having the same powers and view of the public. I also remember learning about the allies sneaking little handguns into the German controlled cities for people to defend themselves from those police. wondering if we need that again or have we as a people become to soft to stand up?

  34. There are some problematic issues that come along with this. It’s pretty obvious that the officers are quite accustomed to gathering evidence without any warrant. From this we can infer that the DA is accustomed to presenting inadmissible evidence and we can assume that judges are apparently permitting this to occur. Not one thing about this is encouraging.
