A Question Time audience member (21.3.19) was loudly applauded for his contention that the UK should leave the EU without a deal - as originally planned - on 29th March 2019. When the applause died down, presenter, Fiona Bruce, felt it necessary to tell viewers that the volume of the applause was misleading because not that many people were actually clapping. Think about that!

  10. I will always be proud of our country. We have led the world in so many areas/ We have shared our innovations generously with the world and we're one of, if not the most diverse societies on earth. This constant tearing down of things which we cannot build back is depressing and comes from a place of deep vindictiveness. We just need to speak truth, even at the cost of being berated. If people don't like our ways they're welcome to leave and try their luck elsewhere.

  12. Watching and listening to Peter, Neil and Rafe is a reminder of how intelligent, reasoned argument should be held. MSM is so, so poor nowadays that I have reasserted the self imposed mantra that I NEVER watch, listen to or read ANY so-called ‘news item’ or ‘expert opinion’ since I would rather be ‘uninformed’ than ‘ill informed’.

  13. As a Roman Catholic and as a Hungarian, I want to thank NCF as I learned several important historical facts from this program. I would also like to note that England has a wealth of very accessible, relevant heritage of saints and thinkers. Thomas Becket, Thomas More, John Fisher, John Henry Newman, G K Chesterton, C S Lewis, or contamporary philosophers like Swinburne, Polkinghome, etc. etc.

  20. im a dyed in the wool atheist but im seriously thinking about going to my local church. ive moved to a rural village and we have a beautiful church that is almost always empty. I do not believe in any gods, Im a man of science, but i am very deeply concerned about our heritage and i would heartbroken to see our beautiful churches turned into more private houses, pubs or worse.
