This video hits home so bad, My marriage of 5 years, ended a month ago. The love of my life decided to leave me, I really love her so much I can’t stop thinking about her, I’ve tried my very best to get her back in my life, but to no avail, I’m frustrated, I don’t see my life with anyone else. I’ve done my best to get rid of the thoughts of her, but I can’t, I don’t know why I’m saying this here, I really miss her and just can’t stop thinking about her. I mean, how can i forget about her, when the 5 years of us being married was the best of life

I had this happen to me once at a "wine bar" in Nanning, Guangxi province. This was about April or May 2015. I arranged to meet a woman on a dating site, I d been in China for several years, I should have known better.
Two bottles of wine came out, I just wanted a bottle of beer and one glass of wine. Then a fruit platter came out.
I was presented with a bill for 3000 RMB, I said, I only pay for one bottle of beer and a glass of wine.
Two Chinese "men" came out, they said "you must pay".I said I will not pay.
I think my large size, Chinese speaking, and muscled body intimidated them to some extent.
By coincidence, another Australian guy and his Chinese wife lived in an apartment complex across the road.
I called him after, he came down ( another big Aussie guy) He said, "if you don't cut out this scamming shit, I will call the local PSB". That "coffee shop and bar" was not there a few weeks later.

From an emotional and ethical standpoint, she is reaping what she sowed.
From a cultural standpoint, while filial piety is strong in Asian cultures, so is the concept of family duty and honor—
Which she completely ignored for three decades.
Traditionally, she would be expected to rely on her second husband and his family, not on the family she walked away from.
In the end, it would be up to the father and children whether they want to extend compassion.
But if they choose not to, they are justified.
Actions have consequences.
Every family has difficulties and debts if some kind. Mortgage, raising a family, etc.
If your husband is a good man to you and you leave him, your second, third, etc. husband will NEVER be as good as your first.
Statistics verify this.
Just a thought.

I’m commenting a lot here. Sorry! Should be the last one. 😅
I believe it's less about men pushing the narrative of being providers and more about women naturally seeking that trait. Women are inherently attracted to men who can provide for them, which explains why one of the red flags in a marriage can be when the wife starts earning more than her husband. Successful unmarried women often struggle to find partners not because men are overly selective—men generally aren't—but because these women seek partners who earn more than they do, unwilling to settle for less.
Feminism, leads to widespread dissatisfaction. The innate biological drive for women to seek providers crosses cultural boundaries. If a society elevates women at the expense of men, essentially diminishing male roles for female advancement, consequences like declining birth rates, soaring divorce rates, and pervasive depression will follow.
Women, historically and biologically, are not inclined to be the saviors in relationships. Even a woman with significant wealth might still daydream about a man with greater resources coming to her rescue. In a societal framework where men are breadwinners—out earning women, they take pride in supporting and rescuing women, and everyone benefits. This perspective demonstrates that feminism is detrimental, arguing that traditional roles where men proudly provide lead to greater overall happiness and stability in a community.

Please let's take this bride price a bit further, shall we?
The bride price should have conditions and be bracketed.
Conditions like:
1- GPA test.
2- The marriage should be a normal marriage, living together, sex, etc.
3- If the woman is unfaithful during marriage, the woman should be legally obligated to return the bride's price.
4- If the woman unreasonably requests a divorce, the bride should be legally obligated to return the bride's price.
5- The bride price, plus ownership of the house and car, should be put in an escrow account and be paid out over let's say a 5 year period. If the woman follows the above rules she could withdraw 1/5 of the money per year. This would shop the woman marrying a man and walking out soon after or like in a previous vlog in this channel, the woman married a man and the woman never had sex with the man and only lived with him for a few days and after 3 years of living apart she still asks him for money.
To my western mind the bride price is like buying a piece of meat. pardon me for being so realistic and raw, but who would buy an expensive piece of meat without being able to check it out and just pay and take the butcher's word for the quality of the meat.
Also anytime a person pays for something a sense of ownership comes with it. The man on some level will feel that he owns the woman because he paid for her. This is not a good beginning for an equal and respectful relationship.

Understandable. I, as a 50 year old man, play games. I got over 3000 physical games, arcades and toys. I go to work too. 50+ hours. Many of these women are doing it wrong.
Women should go to work is the 1st step. Split the chores. Don't hog all the chores. Someone need to take care of necessary things in the house. Cook, clean, laundry, sweep, mop, tend the garden, mow the yard, take care child(ren), fix things and etc.
I am not a cooker but able to cook simple meal/fool. It's not the greatest but edible enough to be full. So i clean. When my wife is at home, she ask me to help out like washing vegetables, cutting food and prepare necessary things like an assistant chef. ASK NICELY FOR HELP. The husband will help. Be mean and picky and he will leave. Or you can tell the husband that the sink/plumbing is leaking and need to be fix. Or ask if he can take kid to see a doctor's appointment.
Don't NAG, be mean, and etc. Maybe ask the husband where to learn a simple game and or join him in one. That way, you get to experience with him. Sit with him. My wife doesn't like video games like most of these ladies but she let me vent off to neverland once in a while. She annoy me by blocking the tv and push my games down. There are times where she feed me while I play game and touch on private spot. That really stop me and off to bed we go. 😅😅😅.
So ladies. Ask nicely for help in the kitchen. He will help out like a Prince rescuing a princess in distress. Compliment him. Give him a REWARD. He do it more. Or ask him to cook his well known dish. Compliment it (even if you don't like it). It's a way to get him off that video game.

@Catherine.Dorian. I'm assuming it originally spread word of mouth style but later came from celebrity memoirs and finally social media posts. Women see other women having multiple kids with multiple men. However, while some women have a legit reason (like the men were physically and/or emotionally abusive and they had to leave them to protect themselves and their children) others leave for mundane or selfish reasons (man becomes ill, or loses job, or she plainly lost interest). Then, this phenomenon became a giant scam for narcissists. "I'm so fabulous you want to pay just to be in a fake relationship/marriage with me. Shower me with attention and lavish gifts." that mindset is pretty ridiculous to me. That's not a husband that's a Sugar Daddy. (Men are also guilty of the reverse - leaving their late 30's or 40's aged wife for an early 20-something. Sometimes leaving the wife with the kids and little or no financial support.)
However, I don't want to see children stuck in loveless marriages with parents who are constantly fighting either. So I do think divorce, for any reason, should be allowed. Ideally, people should be honest going into their next relationship regarding how their previous one ended. (But scammers won't be honest so you have to be able to look for the red flags.) Prenuptial agreements, and medical check-ups, should be recommended before marriage for BOTH people, IMHO. No one, male or female, should have to accept "don't you trust me"? ...and then end up with an STD or a statistically riskier chance of a child with a terrible genetic illness (if it is found in both people's family histories). Yes - the medical check-ups are going to be invasive. Yes - I'm saying the man has to get the same level of scrutiny as the female. Has he fathered any children already? If yes, are they healthy? Does he have any worrisome genetic abnormalities going back up his family tree? Does he presently have any STDs, illnesses, or unexplained symptoms? Does he work in an industry that could affect his health or fertility in the future? (Like exposure to carcinogens or radiation materials.)
Science and reason have hopefully evolved enough that some of these questions can be answered. It won't 100% guarantee healthy children and a long happy marriage, but maybe it can help avoid a few train wrecks!

My Chinese wife and I - I am Caucasian American male - have been married 51 years. Married back in 1973. We met at an American university. I talked her into forgetting the university degree, but to get her MRS. Degree with me! We now have grown children and granddaughters in high school. Throughout the years, my experience has been my wife's Chinese relations are very materialistic and have little or no interest in religion. Before she married me and in our marriage she has been ridiculed by her relations because she is careful with money, and because she is a COMMIITED Catholic (and so am I). Her relations are always spending money beyond their income, always in debt, mostly credit card debt. In my experience, most Chinese I have known are very materialistic people, and this results in an unbalanced life. They seem, since the end of World War II, to follow the United States example, and I tell them the U.S. is not a good example to follow, also too materialistic. But at least many Americans have Christianity in their lives, although it is usually a Protestant Christianity that mixes, Calvinistically, materialism as a proof of personal salvation. My wife and I as Catholics believe not to be so materialistic. In our marriage we have had disagreements between us and her family and my family. I believe the problems, social and economic, in China, and in Japan and Korea, are because of their materialistic philosophy. They must rethink this philosophy. Also, the United States needs to rethink things.

Yes, besides those two things you've mentioned above . They also demand to be at least 6feet tall, handsome, making 200k or at least triple more than what they make a year, lots of savings in banking account, putting their names on the house deed, higher education, can cook, do dishes, wash clothes, cleaning the house.

I will tell you the situation in the US, because I live here. A lot of people that worked very good jobs had lost their jobs in the past 2 years; however, there are a lot of low paying jobs. If you are a regular person, you could take one of these jobs, like working as a ride share driver, delivery man, working at a restaurant, working at a warehouse, painting houses, working as a construction worker, etc. The problem is finding a decent place to live, because the cost of living is very expensive. It is very common thing these days for 3 people to share a studio or a one bedroom apartment.
If you don't have much skills or education, your standard of living will be very low. You will be working more than 70 hours a week, and you will be living in a small room. Even though wages are lower in China, basic things are cheaper in China, like food, rent, utilities, etc. You are better off living in China in my opinion.

I been a gamer since before age 10 an affluent neighbor had an Atari 2600 and my favorite game was Pole Position a racing games, Games has helped broaden my world & make me a better person, In high school my exposure to darkness, bad company & gangs etc was limtied or balanced by video games, cause many of my friends were nerds or rich smart kids with whom i borrowed & traded games, Germans/Chinese, so it made me sympathetic when thought about becoming a bully, something I did once and never did again, in my 20's my girl bought me a PS2 and it was never an issue for the 4 years we were together, & she never got upset even once, I played with my friends at home , all day when she's at work , long in between making music, & go studios & network in the night, Infact she was more jealous of music & feared the trajectory of fame & groupies/easy women etc. I would only play at her house when she is sleeping, like after sex or gone to church, but she never played with me, I never knew girls like games, until I started seeing cosplay & gamer girls and fantasized what it would be like having a gamer girl, whereby in my 20's I wanted gangster girls & a 30's christian girls, in my 40's i bought a PS4 & still mulled the idea of a gamer girl thought i found the jackpot when i saw a girl in the bus engrossed in a game on her phone. so I approached, she wasn;r a skilled gamer in terms of using a controller, so I bought games she would like that we could play together ;like quiz games n based on US TV game shows wheel of fortune jeopardy, cross word, scrabble, monopoly & only played the car games I love when she's not around, she had no issues nor complaints caus ei spend time with her enrolled in online courses that she helped pay so i could earn more money to give us a better life. Only once in Gran Turismo I was taking part in a scheduled world series so I couldn't quit to accommodate her & she understood that weekly at such time I;d have go home to race. Infact she got to love games so much when i broke up with her in anger & smash the game wheel of fortune she liked she started crying, which i downloaded once we got back together. Games to me are a have many purposes not to escape reality but supplement it, entertainment & lessons I play car games cause i love cars In real life sometimes I put on music & go on a long country drive for no reason other than I just love driving If i was rich & could collect all the cars I love it would be almost impossible & time consuming to drive them all so I love driving simulators, I don't play shooters or war games as I did in my 20's cause I'm no longer obsessed with guns or killing, infact un les it has a story I can learn from & contrast to life & apply real lessons I don't do so at all so much or at all, no senseless violence's, sometimes I play games just to marvel at the creative Masterpiece that the developers made video games to me are like interactive movies , so its not immature cause many of the themes and situation cannot be processed fully by a child and are made by ppl facing issues and have stress who make games as an outlet to vent their pain therapuetically , I can see the vision of the creators & learn from then, some have hidden or over agenda toi currupt and mold youth into certain wa y of life which is why companies funded as a front by Secret corporations like Sweet Baby are forcing game companies to put pro LGBT values into thier games or face backlash & financial sanctions Likwe the Gay black japanese Samauri in Assasins Creed or killing of the Male heroes, Nathan Drake in Uncharted and replacing them with female& sometimes Lesbians in the Last of Us. Gaming was the last untouched or untainted sphere of influence for the youth & they finally got it, of i have kids I'd supervise & curate what games they play cause unlike my days it not just all fun

2:18 So his parents adopted a sister for their adult son, or what is this relationship?
3:52 Due to the lack of any feelings less than that.
4:14 Sure an arranged marriage. Your relationship choice should not be your parents decision.
7:40 The order is not that you get married and try to develop feelings for each other afterwards. I don't buy a car, because in the future I might or might not need one. See how stupid this is?
10:33 Right. Age should not be a factor for marriage. Some marry at 18, others at 70 or anything in between or even not at all. Don't rush into draining marriages you will leave later on anyways and waste each others time, energy and probably mental health. Marriage should be a decision, not a necessity.
12:54 I guess for many it is and it is backed up by psychological research, but the amount might vary. Maybe it is because of my own health shortcomings, but I'm 32 now and never missed a sexual relationship. I much rather miss some deep talks and genuine affection on other levels.
13:42 I would disagree on the connection between love and sexual relations. There are many ways of love without any sexuality involved: your parents, siblings, friends, pet, children, ...

It's because it robs you of true happiness. My mother ran by ideals that caused her to completely miss actually ideal partners. She was more focused on superficial looks over characteristics. I have standards, but they aren't superficial. My man didn't have to be super handsome, tall, or rich. I met a lot of women who were married to wealthy men and they said they didn't find a successful man, they found a man with good character and became successful together, so the idea that you can find a wealthy successful man later in life is a low probability. For my standards he did need to be honest even if it made him look bad and loyal to me, and love me for my personality rather than my looks. I found my partner actually incredibly fast everyone was shocked. And many years later I am incredibly happy with him and our children. He is still honest and loyal to me. He has the capacity to truly love me. I wouldn't trade him for any other man even for one who was ridiculously wealthy and the handsomest man in the world. Looks will fade, but you can't buy happiness and loyalty, and true love. True love isn't lucking out being the one in a million girl who ends up with an extremely handsome wealthy man. It's finding a man you can vibe together, and who you love for the good person he is and who loves you for who you are on the inside, and would still love you even if you lost your good looks, which I was in an accident that ruined my face, but thankfully I was able to fully heal my face. Regardless during that time of looking hideous my husband still loved me...
