I am so proud of this young man for telling his story and raising awareness.

Amazing bravery to tell his story. People need to know that Human Sex Trafficking is an enormous epidemic right here in the USA. Thank you for posting this video.

This is such an important story. We need more employers to evaluate employees based on their analytical abilities and willingness to learn and to hire from high school!

This was a brave story for this man to tell. I give him so much credit and I am glad he is safe and successful. I am glad he put that monster in prison.

The way this is shot makes it feel like something from kids tv in the 2000s. I love it.

This is local news??? I need more local news just like this is

Thanks for getting her name out there. We want answers.

When I saw they found her a place, my heart breathed a huge sigh of relief. I've been homeless before, and I know the feeling of uncertainty and wandering. I'm finally in my place, and I'm not letting anyone or myself cheat me out of this blessing. Thank God she was able to get a place.
208
So glad that she has found an apartment. Wishing her nothing but the best from this point

This is an amazing format for an interview!! And Chris Fleming and the host had great chemistry hahaha

Who needs Michelin when you have the Phantom Gourmet? 🤣

This entire series was a tremendous piece of journalism and storytelling. Thank you!

“The stronger that my body became, the stronger my mind became. And I slowly started to let go of the anxiety.” Powerful story Jose 🙏🏻 Thank you for sharing such a vulnerable story. Thank you GBH news for giving Jose this platform. A seriously overlooked issue experienced by boys, and who do they have to turn to? I hope they find the same courage and healing Jose did 🙏🏻

Respect to this dad! He’s out there doing all he can to provide. Wishing him and his daughter the very best. 🙏🏻

chris fleming is so great i joined the online cult that worships him the minute I saw that first episode of gail doing that line of granola and vacuuming her driveway. Also i wholeheartedly agree that jimmy buffett does indeed come down the chimney when you turn 50 and tell you to give the bird to your dreams.

I was so happy to be apart of something so enlightening, as well as be amongst some Amazing professional black woman. Let’s encourage each other and spread the word to check into which brand of hair that you are using🙏🏿

I binged the first 4 episodes while waiting for a flight from Boston to San Francisco. On my way to the airport, I took the Fort Point to the Ted Williams tunnel and dropped my rental car off at a garage that used to be an East Boston neighborhood, flattened by Ed King. While eating an airport sandwich, I suddenly realized that it too was likely prepared in a facility sitting where the Olmsted-designed Wood Island Park once was (before being bulldozed by Ed King). The totality of what I was learning and experiencing hit me like a truck. Hats off to the GBH news team for creating such a fantastic series.

This series is phenomenal.

I do not want this amazing series to end. Hats off to everyone involved.

Wow, what an incredibly well done documentary. I have no investment in Boston, but I was sucked in. Bravo!
63
Ian… GBH….. the whole team…THANK YOU! Everyone I know in RI thinks I’m nuts for investing so much of my time in this series. But as a dam removal project administrator… this has been THE best therapy tool. I never want the series to end.
61
Anyone else watching this to fill in their mail-in ballot?

Come for the story; stay for the endless footage of bumper-to-bumper traffic on the most hated urban highway in US history.

This was an excellent program, thank you. The questions were very good and Doris Kearns Goodwin was excellent in her responses. Good Job.
57
I've never been to Boston, but I heard about the Big Dig on the periphery while I was growing up with conservative parents. I am absolutely enthralled by this podcast and I honestly don't want it to end.

Love this panel of professional and educated Women in the industry ❤❤❤ This education is essential!

What a beautiful couple. The host is great. Amazing couple
53
The song is just SO GOOD it's impossible for anyone to keep their boots still
52
Bird is the word.

This series on the big dig was incredibly fascinating story of the history of it. As a young teen I’m western Canada I was very fascinated and intrigued about the big dig. Thank you for the incredible backstory that led to its construction.
45
I think this is the best interview I've ever seen, with one of my favourite people! Loved it
45
I am so happy this lady found a nice home!God bless her.❤️
44
I love his style. He looks like a time traveler.
42
The bravery to come forward and tell this story to bring awareness and help other young vulnerable boys is so inspiring!!

Another excellent episode! Outstanding journalism and podcast values. An incisive point of view but still even-handed treatment of those involved.
38
Thought provoking piece about our criminal justice system. Please keep telling these stories!

I don't know how I found this series, but I'm glad I did. Your work was thorough and entertaining; you truly did an outstanding job. Many times large infrastructure projects only focus on the impact of the majority, but you did a wonderful job showing the sacrifice of the people in the community for the greater good. Being about your age, I too remember glimpses of the central artery when my father would take me into Boston for a day. We usually parked under it, and took the T around the city. Years later visiting the city it just felt like the city was always designed that way with everything being open. It's not until you look back at the size of the project do you realize how greatly it has impacted the city. Not only has it improved the quality of life for those living in it, but anyone traveling to, or thorough it as well. And lest we forget how much it has helped out Logan airport as well. In the end, the juice was definitely worth the squeeze.

This documentary is one of the best things I've seen in YouTube for a long time! Thanks!

I love Gregory Maguire!! I met him once in my 9th grade English class field trip to go see him speak. As he signed my book I said, "Thank you for writing Elphaba the way you did. I so relate to her." And he said, "Thank you, and yeah, me too. I relate to Elphaba to." It blew my mind at that time that two people from such different ages/walks of life could connect so much to the same character - but of course they can! The beauty of art and great writing <3 💚

RIP Shawn and Lynn. Thinking of you both a lot today on the 20th anniversary of 9/11. I still remember seeing that big smile in the corridors of St. Teresa's where we went to school. God keep you both safe

Such a beautiful girl, from a wonderful father! He works, this world is so unfair. I woke up , this was my first video, and i am crying- I am so happy this ended right. They had to leave! Mass is just too expensive. 😢

I'm glad everyone understands that to have a dynamic nightlife a city must have transportation that runs later than 1am. Boston should also change its attitude towards vending on the street, and allow diverse locals to benefit from the economy. It's all no brainer stuff. Let's see how the new nightlife czar performs.

This has been an excellent series so far. I hope GBH will do a segment on the related work for the north-south rail link (whose ground work was completed as part of the Big Dig) and commuter rail modernization, which the the MBTA is roundly failing to do promptly. We NEED good government with the capacity and capability to manage large public works projects.
30
I can't believe how interesting this is. I have been anticipating each Wednesday for another episode. Great job!

Been listening on Spotify but thought I'd add a comment here. As an aspiring transportation planning student from the West Coast, I've been inspired and enthralled by both the story and the storyline of this series. It is a truly touching piece on the importance - and difficulty - of local activism. Thanks for your work, guys!

We need Papa Gino's to go international

Wonderful series. Thanks for all the incredible color behind a story that spanned most of my lifetime. Around 2000 I got a tour of the then under construction tunnel and got to walk out on the Zakim bridge before any traffic would cross it. I was blown away by how lovely the bridge framed the Boston skyline. Thanks to all who fought for the best possible answer to this challenge. Too bad the MBTA which was supposed to benefit from the scheme Z compromise ended up in its current state of underfunding by being raided for funds to finish the Big Dig. I suppose we will eventually hear about that part!
27
As someone who was born in the 90s, I only knew of the Big Dig as an ice cream flavor - this provided me with so much history and context - can't wait for the next episode
