Agreeing to do a video interview while his nation is being invaded by violent thugs, under threat of possible bombings, but takes the time to apologize for his English (which was very good)…what an amazing person. Well done, sir. Stay safe. ✌️ ❤️ 🥚 🇺🇦

Neil Sloane's voice is ASMR all of its own :)

Ed Frenkel is a legend. His book is great, and his Riemann zeta function videos are up there with the best across all of Brady’s channels!

You know you're a massive nerd when you recognize like every other face in this video

Sad news, John Horton Conway was a great inspiration and it seems a fun person to be around. Quite happy we got a couple numberphile videos with him and Conway and Gardner really brought math fun and games to the masses. We could really play around with maths. Maybe he got over the game of life. He will be missed. RIP

This was so insanely good, I have no words to describe the goodness. Once again, Brady completely amazes me with his ability to make a math podcast better than I could have imagined possible.

thank you, Brady, for looking into Ukrainian mathematicians! Things are hard here, but all subscribers from Ukraine are waiting for new videos!)

John Conway is the reason I’m working in my career right now. The first iOS app I wrote was a cellular automata. It got me my first job and now, 12 years later, I’m still working as a developer. Was gutted to hear this news but I love that you’ve put together this podcast in tribute to him. Thanks Brady

Talking about knots, in Royal Society, featuring Chemistry, making puns, and having fun... This is one of the most Brady videos out there!

Thanks for another great interview. I especially enjoyed this one as James Grimes has a special place in my heart, as I suspect is the case for many other "numberphiles". Not only because of his fantastic attitude and demeanor, but also because he in my humble opinion is the one person who best represents and personifies "The Numberphiles". He simply is the absolute best "ambassador" You could wish for, which is saying a lot considering the wealth of fantastic hosts You have in Your "roster". Best regards

Ohhh my maths I just now finished reading his book A Very Short Introduction To Mathematics and now this podcast

There are about 2.75 million prime numbers between 82,589,933, the previous power of 2 and 136,279,841, 53¾ million powers later... not one of which yields a Mersenne prime! After nearly 6 years I was beginning to think, "Maybe there is only a finite number of Mersenne primes!"

What a lovely chap.

Lovely interview and interviewee (particularly considering the circumstances). Also, his joke about concave dinosaur eggs was pretty funny!

Such an amazing podcast Brady. Thank you. I remember watching the BBC program when it came out. It was one of the main thing that convinced me of the importance, and by extension, application of maths to our lives. I’ve always been invested in it, but that’s what I think made me decide to do my degree.

I am so grateful to you and all the people in your videos and podcasts. Great for listening while driving to work.

I've enjoyed a lot of Numberphile podcasts - this is the first one that triggered me to action. I'm pleased to be a volunteer and mentor with the Prison Math Project now.
