"Was The Universe Designed For Life?"
13:32
"... around and that's why some people look at it in almost a spiritual way because it kind of suggests that the universe is fine-tuned for life..."
Psalm 19
"The heavens declare the glory of God,
and the sky above proclaims his handiwork.
Day to day pours out speech,
and night to night reveals knowledge.
There is no speech, nor are there words,
whose voice is not heard.
Their voice goes out through all the earth,
and their words to the end of the world."
Imagine thinking the intricate complexities of every living thing, the mind blowing wonders of the universe, and even LIFE, itself, all came to be solely through material processes, random chance, and a of of time. That's like looking at your cell phone or computer or car or a city and thinking the same thing. Nothing "pops up" into existence that way.
None of this is a secret.
Colossians
(Speaking of Jesus Christ)
He is the image of the invisible God, the firstborn of all creation. For by him all things were created, in heaven and on earth, visible and invisible, whether thrones or dominions or rulers or authorities—all things were created through him and for him. And he is before all things, and in him all things hold together. And he is the head of the body, the church. He is the beginning, the firstborn from the dead, that in everything he might be preeminent. For in him all the fullness of God was pleased to dwell, and through him to reconcile to himself all things, whether on earth or in heaven, making peace by the blood of his cross.

2:15
"It'd be nice if all of these mysteries had something in common. Like there was some one effect that could explain everything. But we can't seem to find it."
They do have something in common:
Hebrews 1:3
He [Jesus] is the radiance of the glory of God and the exact imprint of his nature, and he upholds the universe by the word of his power.
People "don't find" that thing these mysteries have in common because they reject Jesus Christ. It's always amazing to me how people are willing to twist their brains into pretzels, entertaining the wildest theories. It's fun to hear it. (Otherwise I wouldn't be watching this channel.) At the same time, they won't give equal amount of time / a fair hearing to examine the revelation that has already been given to us by the Creator who made this wondrous, mind-bogglingly huge, and beautiful universe. But not just the universe. Think about even just the human brain. You touched on it yourself. Even our most current technology still cannot match what the human brain can do. It's beyond incredible. If a computer cannot design itself to do the amazing things it can do, how did the human brain design itself to do the infinitely more amazing things it can do?
He made this universe for us to discover and enjoy! But we still keep covering our eyes and ears and screaming, "No, no, no! You don't exist! You can't exist! If you did, it would mean I was accountable to you!"
Better to say things like inanimate objects/materials are conscious. But those who acknowledge the biblical Creator are the irrational ones?

One moment you're here, the next you aren't - that's exactly what these horrific stories should do to us. We are ALL just one breath from entering eternity. Once that happens, you will stand before Jesus Christ. And your eternity will be sealed. Repent and receive His forgiveness, NOW, before it is too late. Once you cross that moment, it is too late.
Hebrews 9:27-28
And just as it is appointed for man to die once, and after that comes judgment, so Christ, having been offered once to bear the sins of many, will appear a second time, not to deal with sin but to save those who are eagerly waiting for him.

Most of this "environmental" stuff makes no logical sense. I'm in my 50s and grew up drinking city tap water. As far as I can tell, I am still alive. Then, all of a sudden, we were told tap water is bad for you. Along came bottled water. But what about all these BILLIONS of plastic bottles being discarded all over the world? No one ever mentioned that part. Now I'm hearing the plastic leeches into your body? THAT can't be good. I'd rather just drink tap water!
A few years ago, Chicago was (supposedly) getting rid of plastic grocery bags. You know, "for the environment." There was a whole campaign encouraging people to bring their own bags. Fine. Then, not long after, I started seeing the plastic bags again. Only now, we were being charged 7 cents for them! And they're crappy, thin bags, too. It's a GAME. Nothing more.
