  1. The only class I've ever gotten a D in was trigonometry. I remember handing in papers with just my name on top. I might as well have been in a class where they were speaking a foreign language. I remember missing / not understanding something one day, and I was hopelessly lost after that. My teacher only passed me out of pity because I was a senior about to graduate! I was there every day and I was trying SO HARD. He knew I was a good student in every other area. Thank you, Mr. Meyer! The very existence of math is evidence that material realities are not the only realities out there. Real things can exist, that cannot be apprehended by our 5 senses.
