  1. I just learned about this from another channel. It's no surprise. Scumbags. That's why I use Kindle as a secondary thing. It's mainly for books that I either already have in hard copy, or that I don't necessarily mind if they "disappear." I buy very few digital items. I wait for the cheapie sales and digital "bind ups" and such. None of this stuff is mine. None of it!

  2. I avoid them most of the time these days. I had a gift card from work, which is the only reason I've been using it lately.
