  2. I had never seen them until fairly recently! And only online. I've never seen them in real life. I was a little confused on how they work. But they do seem to help the animal. Great idea, whoever came up with it! I would never have thought of such a thing.

  3. It's very sad. But I think it's harder for us than for them. (Assuming they are well cared for.) They don't sit around thinking, "I can't do XYZ thing anymore." They seem to live in the present and do the best they can in the moment. Thankfully, they don't have the capacity for comparing themselves to others, or regretting the past, or fearing the future, like we do.

  4. Oh, poor thing! I hope she can find a family that is able to give her the care she needs, for whatever length of time God has left for her.
