  2. I hope the host was joking when around 1:30 he says women are "the other" and that's why they are so "oppressed". In free countries (especially America) what fields are closed to women JUST because they are women? Oh, I am sure someone can dig up an obscure example somewhere. But assuming equal ability and training, women are doctors, lawyers, professors, journalists, authors, in the military, politicians, construction workers, truck drivers, police officers, firefighters, business owners - I could go on and on! What more do they want?

And where is the punishment applied to the men? There's probably a case to be found here and there, but the majority of the time, it is ONLY the woman!

But she also said the below statement, which is just factually false. Maybe there are some exceptions depending on location and severity of how sharia is practiced. But generally, it's the woman.
