  1. It has to be. I can't even fathom what's going on here. It's not possible for people who know music at this level (or who even just live with someone who knows music at this level!) to not know that a guitar is out of tune.

  6. I find it horrifying! How can the family of a music expert not even know when a guitar is to of tune?! And then to say, "How am I supposed to know, when I've never heard the song?" That's horrifying. My brain can't even process it. How can you BE a musician and not know something is out of tune?!

  8. Oh, I haven't seen guitar tuners in years. I didn't know that kind existed! How cool and easy! But... wait. I am confused on this video. Is he saying that people who know music better than I ever will, are unable to tell when a guitar or other instrument or even a voice are not in tune?! Isn't that impossible for people who know music? That's what music IS. I don't even read music and I can hear when a guitar or piano are out of tune, whether I've heard the song before or not. And even more so, a voice. I'm wearing headphones and at 2:45 when he plays the out of tune chord, I jumped like someone was scraping their nails across a chalkboard. How can you not hear/know that?! Sorry, but I'm lost here. If even the family of a music expert like Rick can't tell when something is in tune or out of tune... music is LOST. And I can't function in a world where that's the case. Honestly, this left me way more upset than a random video on Youtube should have made me.

  9. They're not just "listeners". They're family members of a trained, experenced musician and teacher! HOW can they not know something as basic as this?!
