I was going to watch this video, but reading the description info was enough. It's only been in recent years that I learned on YT that there is even a thing called sleep paralysis. I realized I had experienced this growing up. It's exactly as you described. It's horrifying. I never told anyone because I figured everyone would just say it was nightmares. I had to convince myself that's what it was, because... what else could it be? After I got saved at 18 it very rarely happened again. When it did, calling the name of Jesus, in my mind, just like you described, was the only thing that made it stop. I'm not one of those Christians who sees a demonic explanation for everything that happens to me. But I am convinced this is a real thing and that it is demonic.
