  1. I don't mean this in a disrespectful way, but maybe a component of the issue is thinking of people as brothers just because you share a race. I do not think of the Puerto Rican gangbangers in Chicago as brothers/sisters. As a Christian, I know we share a sinful nature and are in need of a Savior. But in the way I conduct my life, I have nothing in common with them as far as morals, views, and lifestyle. Nor do I ever view thugs/criminals of any sort as victims. Nobody makes you shoot/murder someone. If your life is threatened and you're told, "Do it, or you die" then you die.
