Your words: "Also the parades itself (at least the ones I attended) were more about expressing who someone is than showing, that they are just as normal as anyone else." So what you're saying is that public obscenity is simply an expression of what homosexuals are? Never have I seen a homosexual person/group publicly denouncing these types of events. And online it's like pulling teeth to get a homosexual to finally acknowledge that maybe there's something offensive about such events.

More satire, thanks!

I hope everyone on this thread continues to note that you think exposing children to obscenity is acceptable, and that if anyone dares speak out about it they are "condemning". Whatever the topic, the usual tactic of the Left is to silence those who disagree. (See Andrew Klavan's video, 'Shut Up'.) You will not silence me. Know that.

Absolutely right. I couldn't believe it when the parade was in my neighborhood. Usually I'd leave for the day to avoid the crowds, but I wanted to see for myself. Boy, did I see! Women topless except for sticker on their nipples. Men nearly naked except for thongs. Vulgar signs. Sex acts being simulated on floats. On and on. And this with tons of children around! I'm supposed to cheer this on and call it normal? No. I will not.

I don't frequent bars, so I don't care what they do inside of them. That's quite different from a public street in your own neighborhood that you cannot avoid. My area was taken over by this obscene parade and I was prevented from returning to my apartment for over 4 hours due to the crowds. So you're saying that homosexuals are people who have no qualms about behaving obscenely in public, even in front of children? Honestly, I don't see how any of your comments so far are helping your cause.

You've made it clear that your view is that this type of behavior is acceptable even in on a public street and even in front of children. I'll close with this. If this behavior was only between consenting adults in private, fine. But homosexuals DEMAND that the rest of us accept such behavior as normal. That's why they do it in public and refuse to condemn it, as you've done here. Those on the opposite side will continue to speak out, vote & take legal action when appropriate.

Perhaps this is news for you, but normal people don't walk around practically naked (females topless except for nipples covered/males in tiny thongs), simulate sex acts in public (on floats), allow young children in and then demand that everyone else call this "normal".

Vulgarly stated, but your point is right. I have never seen such attention hogs as the rainbow crowd. You'd think they'd be embarrassed to behave so foolishly.

Bias & privilege - LOL! Anything to say about the obscenity, especially in front of kids? Of course not. Stop pushing your morality on me, and then telling me I have to accept it.

The funny thing is this could really happen.

One occasion? How about every year? And that's just in my city that I know of! I suppose these things take place at various dates in other cities. What is remarkable about this discussion is that public obscenity of the sort I have described doesn't seem to bother you, not even when done on a public street, and in the presence of children. No matter how many times I've described it, this not only doesn't seem to bother you, but you claim this is what homosexuals simply do and are!
