  1. I had no idea I was deathly allergic to hay. (City person, born & bred.) Years ago, I went to weekend retreat with my church. They had a hay ride. I immediately started coughing and wheezing and not being able to breathe. I thought I was going to die. It was awful!

  2. Here randomly via the intertubes. This was fascinating! I love that people are keeping these skills alive. I can't even fix the little tear in my coat sleeve. I put a piece of tape over it. True story. Anyway, your clothes are beautiful. I think the best way to deal with any weird comments is just smile and make light of it: "Why are you dressed that way?" "Because I love it." If you're in a more confrontational mood, you could ask them why THEY are dressed the way they are. LOL!
