Here randomly via the intertubes. This was fascinating! I love that people are keeping these skills alive. I can't even fix the little tear in my coat sleeve. I put a piece of tape over it. True story. Anyway, your clothes are beautiful. I think the best way to deal with any weird comments is just smile and make light of it: "Why are you dressed that way?" "Because I love it." If you're in a more confrontational mood, you could ask them why THEY are dressed the way they are. LOL!
