  1. Even with rules being relaxed/signs coming down everywhere, people in Chicago, IL never stopped masking. They are still muzzled outside, even in sweltering, 90F heat. The ones that worry me are the elderly people. It's horrible to see them shuffling along, barely able to walk or see, and now half their vision field is blocked and their breathing is restricted with these useless things. It's sad to see people still so terrified, even after two years.

  2. What's been done to children is beyond criminal. A family member's child starts school soon and at the time I heard about it, I forgot to ask if they will still be muzzling children. I hope not. Seeing muzzled children is horrifying. How can anyone think it's not going to affect them negatively?

  4. I've made it a point to smile at kids as well. I remember either last year or 2020 there was a daycare group that walked by our house. Poor kids were all muzzled, along with their teachers. You could barely see their tiny faces. I made it a point to smile and wave at them so they could see a normal human for a few moments. But I felt like crying!

  5. Thank you for being sane! I'm in the U.S. (Chicago, IL) and I wish I could find sane people here. Temps have been in 90s F and people are STILL masked outside. I saw a lady alone in the car. And at the train station I saw the (now rare) double masker. I thought I saw the two sets of ear loops but I had to do a double take to be sure. I was able to get a good look and I am certain it was two. I cannot imagine wearing one mask in this sweltering heat, much less two. What kind of thought process does a person need to have to think that this is healthy?!

  6. Darn, I hadn't heard it stated that way. Perfect. I am 50+ and I have never in my life seen so many signs/notices warning about strokes/heart attacks that can "happen to anyone."

  7. Thanks for that info. I have wondered the situation in different places in the world. And holy cow, it's humid and hot over there most of the time, isn't it? I'm sure wearing a damp rag on your face is very healthy. Ugh!

You know these injections prevent neither infection nor transmission. You know they are now resulting in heart and other serious issues. You know people have lost their jobs over it. And yet you still demand it. Leave others freaking ALONE. Do you understand me? Is that clear?

  10. That Carroll guy is a real doctor?! Come on, for real? I have never heard of medical professionals behaving this way! How can you be in the med profession if you're terrified of germs / sick people?! When I was a kid I had toyed with the idea of being a doctor. But then I came to realize that I can't handle blood/bodily fluids and therefore that career path was not for me.

  11. I saw a lady masked alone in her car just the other day! Unbelievable. I keep trying to make sense of it. What benefit can you POSSIBLY be getting from doing that? Or wearing one while bike riding outside? It's incredible!
