I think they're just trolling and tormenting people on purpose! What logical reason can there be for this?

My first thought was, ooooh, I can crawl under it and go to sleep! LOL.

Aw, she looks so young! What an amazing and hard working young lady. I wish I was there so I could try her food and support her. If she gets her shop going, I hope you can do a follow up story on her!

Ha ha! Right? That's wild.

I had one once and ended up giving it to a friend. I loved the warmth. But the stress of knowing it was plugged in (especially in this old house) was too much for me. About how long does the heat of those beanbags last? I wouldn't mind one for my feet.

Some of this stuff was stressing me out! Who thought it was a good idea to create something you plug in, put on your face all night, and trust that it will turn off in time to not scald you and likely blind you?! DO NOT WANT!

EEK!

For me, personally, this one is not as bad as some of the others I've seen. That said, these places seem like novelties. It seems they are built just as a challenge for the architects/designers but there's no thought put into how a real person could utilize the space. I find that insulting. Sure, it's better than being homeless. But is this the best that can be done with such a space?

Trains and snow monkeys - two of the best things in life!

I cannot live without those little hand warmer packets! I hope they're not somehow poisonous. My hands are extremely sensitive to cold. Much more than my feet or body. They get so painful, stiff, and red that when I go inside people freak out, "WHAT HAPPENED TO YOUR HANDS?!" Uh, nothing? That's how they always are in the cold. These things keep them warm and avoid all the annoying questions. It's about 10 F in Chicago. I think it's going below zero. I don't want to look at the weather forecasts anymore. It stresses me out. I have to leave the faucets dripping/running 24/7 so they don't freeze/break and cost thousands of $ like last time. It's exhausting. And the sound of that water is like torture. I can't stand it.

See, these people should do the minimalist thing like the gentleman in the other video!

I love Japanese bathrooms! And also the entryway. That nice, big kitchen wall area with no outlets was frustrating. WHY?! I often think those who design apartments do it theoretically, without thinking through the daily needs of the real humans will be using the space. X number of feet / meters doesn't always work out to X number of USABLE feet / meters. She did a fantastic job. And what's up with making fun of the chair? Don't people read these days? ;) I would love a space like this. $600 is FANTASTIC. I am in Chicago, USA. I haven't seen even a studio / 1 bedroom for less than $1,000 these days.

Strange. But kinda cool. I wish I could get rid of most of my stuff. But not my books. I love my books.

I assumed they'd be super loud with the trains. But if not, I'd totally take that first one! I was going to say I'm not doing any shared spaces. But a nutritionist? Local farms? That food looked amazing! I would be shocked if that was the standard each day. I'm guessing it was special for the show. But man alive, if it's even somewhat like that each day, I'd take even the smallest room! I hate cooking and shopping and everything to do with buy/preparing food. And with fresh food like that? Sign me up! Wait, threats about what? Are people insane?!

Believe it or not, this is better than one I saw, where the toilet was literally next to the kitchen area. Everything was open. Not even a curtain. WHO DOES THAT?! But the shower area was separate and had a door & everything like a normal home. So the logic here is that it's more sanitary to have an open toilet next to where you prepare food, than it is to have the toilet & shower in the same room?!
