  1. When it comes to things like parties, I don't know why anyone would force themselves to go to something like that if it causes them so much torment. I do understand that sometimes social events are required for jobs. But if you have a choice, why put yourself through it? I cannot STAND parties or large gatherings. I just don't go. Why would I choose to torment myself over something that's optional? I'm fine with one other person or a couple of other people. Anything more than that is not in any way enjoyable for me.
