  2. I was born there but left when I was a child. I finally went back some years ago to visit a friend. (Okay, to see Springsteen. But a friend, too!) Holy cow, it was overwhelming! We were in the subway and I was holding on to my friend like I was a toddler. I told her, "DON'T LET GO OF ME! I WILL NEVER FIND MY WAY OUT OF HERE!" I live in Chicago and thought I was used to busy, crowded, noisy cities. Nope.

  3. Ha! Same here. People are forever telling me I talk fast. So to me, she just sounds normal. But she was a little extra here.
