  2. You know what? I don't care. There is no excuse. Not in this country. She's now a grown woman with the internet. She was in COLLEGE. And I am sure she is glued to her phone 24/7. She could have found help. I don't blame little kids. But at some point, people have to take responsibility for themselves.

  6.  @marimar6771  Wonderful! We always seem to minimize the importance of parents to actually PARENT. I saw a man with a little toddler in a cafe today. On the one hand, it was good that she had a picture book and was looking through it. On the other hand, the father was on his phone much of the time that I saw. It's sad.

  11. I got through one minute of watching this illiterate fool. It's doubly embarrassing, since I am also Puerto Rican. (Born/raised in U.S.) I bet both of my parents who were born and raised in Puerto Rico and knew little or no English when they first moved here are more literate than this fool. But you know what? This brat will probably get hired before I will, because she has that piece of paper. It enrages me.

But the darkness would do me in. Glad you got out! It gives me a little hope that one day, I can too. I just can't right now due to financial/family situation. But I still dream!
