  2. But it's really not funny! People are already functionally illiterate. Look how people text and type online. Many people don't write by hand anymore. I have been shocked to hear how many people can't write or read cursive because they were never taught. Now this? It's not going to happen overnight, but people WILL no longer know how to write anything. People are becoming illiterate before my eyes. I find that horrifying.

  4. Wow, I live here and did not know this! I wonder what date it was. Maybe my father has the paper copy. We should frame it as a testament to the destruction of society. But, see, this exactly what I mean when I say I loathe AI. People are calling it a tool. Yes, it is. It can be used for good purposes or for bad. Yes, that is true. But we are forgetting that people are inherently LAZY. This so-called journalist was not only too lazy to do his job and write something himself. He was too lazy to even glance through the AI thing to make sure it was correct! I am not a professional writer of any kind, but even I could have done that much! Even if I used AI to do such a thing (I wouldn't) I would be terrified of not only being caught by my boss, but of being publicly humiliated. This person did not care about either of those things. Doesn't anyone take any pride in their work? When I was a child, I used to want to be a writer. I love books. I love words. I love languages. Books have changed my life. (Especially THE book, the Bible.) So I take written communication seriously. I would never do something like this. People have these jobs and they just don't care.

  5. Spencer Klavan has no business referencing the Bible at all. He is an unrepentant homosexual. He needs repent and turn to Christ, before it's too late. I hope he does. I kinda like the guy.

  6. And yet conservatives are using AI! * gives up * I know we can't avoid it, especially when we don't know it's being used on websites or whatever. But why KNOWINGLY use it at all? OF COURSE people are going to use it "instead of" and not "to augment". That's the whole point! That's why students are doing it in school!
