  1. That doesn't even make sense. Pray for his salvation, which would then mean he would resign because there is no such office in the Bible. He cannot be doing "what God asked him to do", since there is no office of Pope in the Bible! Good grief, how many times does it need to be repeated? He needs to REPENT!

  3. This is baffling to me. One of the main points of church is to hear God's Word being taught, so that we can then go out into the world and obey it. Very few people understand Latin. Certainly not at a level where they can be taught from the Bible in that (now dead) language. How in the world does it make sense to have a church service where nearly no one can understand what is being said? And why would you WANT that? It's just mind boggling to me. It would be like me sitting in a church where everything - the songs and sermon were in the language of Hindi. I know nothing of this language. I would not understand a single syllable. Let's say I could not even guess or ask what passage they were teaching from. Even if I had a Bible in English, I would not be able to find the specific book, passage, verses to read in English. Again, it's baffling that professing Christians WANT some kind of church service in a language no one can comprehend. It's almost like the Catholic Church has nothing to do with actually teaching God's Word.
