I made it through Chapter 8 of Harari's book, Sapiens: A Brief History of Humankind. I lost track of the times he said some version of, "Human rights are a fiction." I was horrified. I wish it had been my book instead of a library copy. I would have marked each time it was mentioned. This wicked man would have no problem with the deaths of millions. And people cheer him on.

@damienchall8297 You have never read his book, otherwise you would know I stated facts. If I owned the book I'd grab it now and post the quotes. It was a library book and had to be returned.

That's a great point. The sad thing is, most people have been made so mush-brained by the culture that they don't even think to ask this question.

@Lalita-jt1nu I wasted too much time looking up that stuff. Can't find anything under ASM. (It goes right to all that ASMR stuff.) The author's website won't load. The Amazon bio does not list her educational or professional qualifications. There's not even a photo. The publisher of the books (or the section of the publisher) says "Inner Tradition: Books for the Spiritual and Healing Journey", as well as other Eastern religion stuff. Now, none of that necessarily means her information is false. But it does not give me confidence, especially on things that I can't fully verify for myself anyway. (Like I said, I wasted way too much time on this.)

"Transhumanism is just humanism + the ethical application of technology." There is no such thing as "ethics" under the atheist worldview. If you read his book SAPIENS (at least to Ch. 8, which is as far as I got before I had to return the book to the library) you will see over and over the idea that human rights are a fiction. If the book had been my own, I would have marked each time. It was horrifying. That man would have no problem with the deaths of millions. (Including you, by the way.) But sure, keep cheering him on.
